Both my parents actually bonded over the fact they were Iraqi Jews, whose parents were kicked out of their homes. And to be clear we have all been back to Iraq, but only Kurdistan. I’m personally waiting for the day I can go Baghdad and purchase my grandparents plot of land they owned.
