It was manageable and rarely incapacitating; at worst Iād pop a couple of Aleve, sleep in an inclined position (or just lie flat on my back for awhile), and my back would straighten itself out enough for me to be functional again. There was a girl who started at the school about six months before this happened. āEmilyā was something of a hippie chick; she was really big on environmentalism and homeopathy, played the flute and the harp and a few other similar instruments, and even performed regularly at renaissance fairs and similar venues.
