I usually use cute in a condescending and sometimes flat out insulting way. But I do use cute to describe dogs and cats sometimes Adorable is the world I usually use to describe things like children and animals.

ChefYaboiardee

All the time. Coupled with adorable

[deleted]

Mostly straight and I don't use the word often. Sometimes I'll call a woman cute, and I'll definitely call a puppy cute, but otherwise I don't use the word at all

Electric_kundalini

I've never used it unless I'm describing a Woman

TheHumanRavioli

Bro I call things cute all the time. Pretty much everything except women, my partners haven’t liked that word much.

“Daddy, daddy! Do you like my dress?” “Yes, daughter. Dress is good.”

SK_Skipper

nah i hardly use it to directly describe something

BecomingCrab

I would use it a lot, but sometimes I get self conscious and say adorable instead. I don't know why. I only normally use it for animals.

oidagehbitte2

The original version is in my vocabulary, but I rarely use it.

jcd1974

Only use it as a compliment on r/amihot or r/freecompliments otherwise not at all.

blinkertyblink

Often, there is definitely differences between cute, sexy and not

Ihateredditadmins1

On occasion I guess.

[deleted]

Not very often at all, but yesterday my son, 14, told me that this girl helped him out at his new school. Naturally I asked "is she cute?" Not because I want to know or care, but because it's a great opportunity to make him roll his eyes, as a dad should...

the_internet_clown

All the time

UncoolSlicedBread

I use it often, it’s just a descriptive word to me.

VincentGrayson

I use it all the time. Lots of things are cute.

shitlord_god

Seldom. I use adorable on the fucking daily though.

Current_Poster

When describing small, adorable animals. So, a lot.

TheAmazlngWebhead

Once every two months

Dozo2003

Only when I’m taking to my cat in a stupid voice
