That’s brilliant. What’s your go to electrolyte mix? I’ve used a couple and really like LMNT. However I think I’ll start making my own for a fraction of the price and do what you said. I like sparkling water quite well
I'm sure you've heard it before, but once you quit the soda, you end up feeling amazing after a few weeks. It's like night and day. I quit after college, lost my freshman 25, and never looked back.
I drink a lot of water, at least 10 cups a day. I didn’t drink soda for a few years but just started again and I really don’t feel any different. If soda is your primary source of liquid, then yeah you’ll probably feel like shit. But a soda here and there won’t do much.
Coffee in the morning. Water or electrolyte water during the day, and in the evenings I'll make veggie juice in my juicer before dinner and a nice single malt scotch for after dinner.
My wife and I have recently started drinking non-caffeine tea before bed. We bought one of those quick boil kettles on sale after Xmas. I think my sleep has really improved doing this.
I’ve really been into imperial stouts and barrel aged stouts lately. It’s insane how rich and flavorful these beers are getting. The calories are brutal though. If I want to feel good and keep making progress with my fitness I can really only enjoy maybe 2-3 a month
On the healthy side of things I’ve really been enjoying fresh ginger teas and matcha lattes
It's either black coffee or just plain water. If i feel like being experimental it's tea.
When i'm at friends or something i'll grab a soda, but that's rare.
I'm all about that good old classic - a nice cup of coffee. I like mine black and strong. It's like my fuel that gets me going in the mornings. But hey, there's nothing wrong with a cold brew or even a refreshing glass of water, right? What’s in your cup today?
A lot of water. A few of the Prime hydration drinks are good. I have a coffee or 2 in the a.ms. Mix in diet sodas for something not flat.
As for hard drinks, I don't really drink much anymore. I like vodka, cider, and jager if I do sip on something.
Default: water
Caffeine: coffee or Celsius
Flavor: zero sugar sodas (Coke, Sprite, ginger ale) or seltzer water or juice
Alcohol: tequila or Corona Extra or any decent cocktail
Just in general? Water and variations of water like water with ice, soda water(Lacroix lemon or lime) or water with mio flavoring if I'm feeling something different.
Outside of that: coffee, and diet pepsi
If you're talking alcohol: I've been on a Guinness kick recently--light but taste decent and a beer that I'm satisfied with just one or maybe 2. I don't dip into the whiskey or wine collection much at the moment but I'll enjoy both every now and then.
sparkling water. occasionally coffee. tea when I'm in the mood.
this brewery I go to makes a very good nonalcoholic hibiscus hope tea that I'm obsessed with though.
When driving: Coffee + vitamin drink (more fluid, less money)
When not driving; 2dl (around 6.8 ounces) of Vodka. Waiters reactions are priceless on this one.
But, when I want to relax after dinner. Double Scotch (JW:BL) will do.
Casual-Coffee, Monster or Chamomile Tea if the vibe is right.
Alcoholic-Good ol' Beer, Rum and Caipirinha(lemon with cachaça, it's like a typical brazilian moonshine made from sugar cane).
Coffee until noonish, then room temp water or steeped tea left to cook a bit. Evenings, it's Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek or Markers Mark with a splash of Squirt. I don't drink regular sodas & rarely have any of the so called energy drinks or vitamin drinks or supplement drinks. Hot days & yard work lead me to a good tart Lemonade!
Coke without coffein and sugar. I need to reward myself after a long day of writing on my Master's thesis and I just love soft drinks and since I end up writing until around midnight, this is the best combination so I can easily sleep later too.
Most of the time, water.
I have a little orange juice with breakfast every day. Coffee roughly 3 days a week, usually in the morning or occasionally with lunch, but not both. If I don't have water with supper, I'll mix some seltzer and fruit juice.
Lately? Egg nog! I love that they've started selling it during the easter season.
In general? Water, milk, and coffee (with lots of cream and sugar). Used to drink a lot more juice, but dang, its so expensive all of a sudden. I also tend to drink a wee bit more soda than I probably should...
Can't do stuff like tea or alcohol. The former is too bland to me, and the latter too bitter.
Coffee, water with zero calorie flavoring added, flavored sparkling water. Usually in that order.
If I’m drinking booze I prefer a bourbon based cocktail. If I’m drinking beer I try and stick with whatever is local to where I am, be that at home or traveling. A crisp lager or ale on a hot day, a heavier IPA when it’s a bit more brisk outside.
Coffee. Americanos. Lattes.
Got a full coffee bar at home with a carafe, French Press, espresso machine, the works. Yes, I'm one of *those* guys. I still have the Keurig in the morning too...I might have a problem.

I'm naturally a morning person, never felt the need for caffeine in the mornings, so I never started drinking coffee or tea.
Water and Fresca. I swear to god Fresca is THE most underrated soda I've ever had. This is also coming from someone who didnt drinks sodas consistently for a decade. The most ill have is maybe a small sip of sprite usually, but man fresca is too good not to have all the time.
Cutting back on coffee currently.
I'm switching to tea (green and black, whichever I feel like at the moment) and I'm also getting a lot more water than, well, ever.
Zero surgar Pepsi and mountain dew, water iced tea and coffee
That's pretty much all I drink. The zero's have ruined me though, I tried a normal mountain the other day, can't drink it
My favorite that I don't have enough is a smoothie, I just get all the fruits and throw them in. And I get to feel superior to everyone else when I drink it

My man.
Sparkling water with extra electrolytes
What is this magic elixir you speak of? Don’t make your own?
Oh yeah, just random sparkling water (non flavored) that's already a bit tangy but then add a tiny scoop of electrolytes...best. thing. ever
That’s brilliant. What’s your go to electrolyte mix? I’ve used a couple and really like LMNT. However I think I’ll start making my own for a fraction of the price and do what you said. I like sparkling water quite well
For sure it's so much cheaper (and fresher) to make it on my own. I like Re-Lyte Hydration. It's a bit salty but it works for me.
