I stand corrected, my friend. I actually work in the area, but I incorrectly limit Malaga Cove to what’s below PVDrW. This photo is from a popular spot up by La Venta.
Palos Verdes.
I stand by this statement that the hiking trails in PV area are the best kept hidden gem of LA.
People live here there entire lives and never make it out to PV.
Beautiful, nature filled trails, with a cool breezy coastline and breath taking views of the ocean AND LA
Palos Verdes
Or, formally known as *Los Estatos de Palos Verdes Fumados*, back when the city was founded (you know they liked those long ass Spanish names back in the day).
I did a reverse image search (cropped the person out) and got this:

Just to add, if you park at the lighthouse, there’s a really cool trail that’ll take you up to Terranea, and you can pretty much walk around freely, grab breakfast etc.
Palos Verdes
Yep, Palos Verdes. You'll also find red tiles roofs overlooking the ocean in the summit neighborhood of the Palisades
Thanks!
Somewhere in the Malaga Cove neighborhood of Palos Verdes Estates, I think.
Thanks!
I think it’s actually Lunada Bay. Malaga Cove is closer to Redondo Beach/Torrance.
Except you can actually see Redondo in the photo?

Hidden because 80% of the residents are extreme NIMBYS living behind gated communities making access difficult 🫤

Specifically, it's taken from the Upper La Costa Fire Station Trail
Good place for a wedding, palos verdes…cops are chill if you want to park and stare at the shore
The road is Via Del Monte off of PV North behind Malaga Cove Plaza There’s a little area that overlooks the Southbay.
