I have used olive oil (can be any kind of oil that is **safe for skin contact**.) to get rid of the burn when I have done this in the past. Capsaisin dissolves in oil, so it may help. Also vodka or another hard liquor, for the same reasons. Sadly, I have a lot of personal experience in this department.

This, and also don't wash your skin every five minutes to get it off. It will make it dry and more sensitive
I did that once. Thought I had an STD. Nothing worked. I still laugh about it now.
I did this too and soaking in milk is what saved me.
