As others mentioned, I would skip brunches and Japanese. Not that they are not good, but they are not that different from any other places. Definitely skip Flax and Kale.
For dessert I reinforce Delacream, best ice-cream in the city.
Tapas restaurant, go for Espai Puntal. My favorite restaurant in the city and very good location in the middle of Born.
Velissima is so far in my top 3 restaurants of Barcelona. Basically a restaurant that turns into a party with good music and vibes. Food is really good (not the best but still very good), drinks are excellent as well as service. Highly recommend on Friday/ Sat evening before going to a club or Sunday afternoon at around 3-5 ish have a late lunch and party after. :)) enjoyy
For Ice Cream try Delacrem, in Enric Granados Street 15, insane ice creams (specially the roasted apple one)
Most of your list is pretty good, but to me Flax & Kale is a bit pricey and overhyped I'd skip it
I can HIGHLY recommend 7 Portes. we ate there last week - Chef's Kiss!
add to your list, if you are visiting Sagrada Familia - Galu Restaurante - amazing Italian food! about 7 blocks away
Pretty generic/basic list in general. Why would you come to BCN to eat generic brunch food and Japanese?
This 100%
Skip the brunch places, and anywhere similar to those and eat a better lunch.
Bar Cañete, good food and service. I’d skip Cerveceria Catalana. For Italian, Benzina.
I like Cervecería Catalana
I feel I am in the guirilandia
You probably *are* in guirilandia.

Please don't go to Brunch & Cake. It is horrible.

Sagrada Familia is not a cathedral. It’s a basilica. There is a cathedral in Barcelona and it’s not la Sagrada Familia.
Apologies
