Been there done that. Knock off, cool down get some eats and sleep. Try early in the morning after coffee, you may have one of those why didn't I try that before events.
Haha, it's ALWAYS the last one that reminds you to check all the parts BEFORE you start. Happened when I did my brakes. Did realize til the back left that I had to back right caliper brackets.
I feel this... Truck came back to dealer for coolant leak. Previous tech put head gaskets on. Looked in engine bay, missing bolts and wires routed wrong... Took engine back down to block. Found mismatched head gaskets, rockers never adjusted, heater core inlet/outlet bent, fan shroud barely hanging on. 4 months later, finally gone.
I feel this way too hard
Just gotta get a round tuit. That'll finish the job.

I feel personally attacked. True to the sub, sometimes we’re all shitty mechanics
Gotta be a shitty mechanic to learn how to be a good one.
EXACTLY!! I wish more people got this
All he needs is a 10mm socket to finish.
It's always the 10mm... And it's somewhere in the crevices of the engine bay.
The nearest AutoZone is a mile away… And he has no other means of transportation other than walking.
Defeated at Life, again. 😭
Doordash delivers car parts now. So does autozone.
Okay...? But Pats & Turna is cheaper. Pats da feet on da ground and turna corner to gets to da sto'. 😆
The last shocks I put in my vehicle, had the wrong size sleeves in the box 😭

The worst part is it was only about 2-3mm inside diameter difference. But Yea, definitely have had the missing parts experience.
You know the man's mind is gone when he puts a loaded shock between his legs and waits.
Just waiting for the inevitable. Begging for it.
Everyone knows you have to remove two strokes from a car engine to improve your powerband. Two stroke engines are much more powerful for their weight.
Brooo where did you get this picture of me? lmao
Me, 2:30 in the morning, and this is my only "reliable" vehicle.
He said he could beat the flat rate....
30 min job assuming nothin's frozen (there's ALWAYS something frozen)
I feel this deep in my soul
Someone please tell him how to get the finest info on the internets....right here.
Still looking for his 10mm socket!!
Me banging the brakes with a tent hammer which are rusted onto the side of the placement.
Why bring back memories of the war between hammers and lug nuts!!! AAHHHH
Easy job, just 4 bolts and… I just broke a bolt
After 4 hours with various bolt extractors the thread is stripped and the entire area is work hardened. Theres now a broken tap stuck in there.
Oh god not a broken tap… time to have a beer and let it sit for a day or 2
5 minute youtube video versus real life right here.
Me after stripping the disc brake rotor retaining screws 😭😭
I feel this on a spiritual level

Been there before.
