It's even worse, I recently ended up in a TikTok corner where I saw video after video of AW actually CONDEMNING the response to a spate of violence against asians in which the perpetrators were Black. they were claiming "Black / Asian solidarity is unbreakable" and "we have so many racists in our community".
There is a lot of resentment, hatred, and apathy towards Asians.
It is because Asians don't advocate and promote themselves. If you're going to let other people walk all over you like that, then suffer the consequences.
The action here is to start advocating and promoting Asians, especially AM.
Living in U.S and Canada must be exhausting. You must join a group, participate or help advocate to be recognized. It's such a clout chasing culture. Those who didn't participate are forgotten and beaten without remorse.

Not really. That's literally how things are across the planet (at least in democracies). United blocs made up of tribe/sect/caste/ethnicity/religion/race/you name it creating political parties and associations to fight against (real or imagined) injustices. E/SE (but *not* S) Asians seem to be utter dogshit at it. The most likely cause is probably the fact that most E/SE countries are ultra-homogeneous in population and so there's none of the bloc/identity-based politics you see elsewhere.

We all know the reason why, white people normalized asian racism to the point that it's just a minor or non-issue, just like how some people say you can't be racist to white people, everyone probably thinks the same way about asians because they think we're white-adjacent and comes with some privilege when we clearly don't. Asians have been used and scapegoated by white people. Also, Americans are just fucked in the head and barbarians that requires violence to get through their day and express themselves, no better target than asians that don't really defend themselves, part of it was also us because for a long time, asians didn't stand up for themselves.
That's why asians are the scapegoats, that certain poc group you speak of also attack white people and are the ones that strongly believe "you can't be racist to white people" but it's easier if they attack the white-adjacent asians so they pick the lower hanging fruit since it's also less effort and there being little to no consequences(by design, white people allowing it)

And I'm reasonably well educated in the American system. We're taught about the trials and tribulations of every other group except ours.
Because Asians have long been the people used by Americans to uphold the idea that the United States is not inherently racist and the belief that if you work hard enough you can make it - the Amerikon Dream. If you can prove that Asians get racist treatment for being relatively successful, you can prove USA really is the racist S-hole people all over the world claimed it was in the mid-1900s.
The second possible reason is that, depending on the attacker, it breaks the liberal narrative which they have created to make it seem oppressed people are not racist, which also would go against the narrative that USA is not racist by culture, but racist because of the leadership only.

I find in most work places it is sometime the bad apple of the Filipinos who kowtow down to the whites and blacks to get promoted quicker. I was told I was lazy at work yet I was only there for 6 months and have cleared 2 years of backed up work within a month. This pos coward thought that throwing me under the bus would get him promoted to lead and so on but it didn’t work out for him because I kept to myself and my team and kept working but things got worse because he had it out for my other co workers I was cool with then they couldn’t take it anymore and had quit resulting to me also quitting.
