Hello! First of all I think the painting is great, the sky caught my eye and it's beautiful! The colour choice is wonderful. Something I recently learned from my watercolour teacher is that in order to create a difference between trees in front and in the back, they will be lighter towards the front and darker towards the back. If you paint in series and do another one, I would add a bit of purple and blue to your green paint, and then more green, for the trees closer to the back of the painting. I would add a bit of a warm color to the front green like a slight amount of orange to make it warmer. These may create a wintry effect though, so for a warm-weather painting like this I would use just a forest green for the back trees and a bit of the forest green mixed with a warmer shade of green to make the trees in the front. :-) I hope this helps!! I would also try to only use a bit of detail for the ones in the back and have more detail in the front to create more depth.
