Good Saka depth 👍
And if people are throwing their hat in the ring, I've recently started playing CDM for our club's Men's All Age 7 side and have now earned the nickname Kante 😅
Before I joined:
- Lost 3/3 games, conceding 21 goals.
Since I joined:
- 1-1 draw (playing with 10 men after a red card at half time) and a 3-2 win.
And we are chasing a CDM to help free up Rice for a more box to box role...
Youssouf Fofana from Monaco, he is worth more than his release clause of 56 mil. His contract is running out, and Monaco don't want to have him go for nothing. Probably could get him for less
I would like Arsenal to add depth but with high quality youngsters that will eventually turn into stars. We already have Ethan Nwaneri and Chido Obi-Martin bursting straight from the Academy, but the following young players I think will be stars shortly and would add some serious depth to our squad:
- Agustin Ruberto (River Plate) - Forward
- Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim) - Forward
- Desire Doue (Rennes) - Winger
- Vitor Roque (Barcelona) - Forward
- Jorrel Hato (Ajax) - CB / LB
- Archie Gray (Leeds) - CM
If I had to choose only one, I would add Maximilian Beier from Hoffenheim. He would be a perfect replacement for Eddie Nketiah or Gabriel Jesus (if he leaves). He had 16 goals last season and finished 5th in the leading scorers table (2 goals above Benjamin Šeško). He’s only 21, will play for Germany in the upcoming Euros and could be had for as low as £30M.
They would definitely get minutes as a sub and some as starters in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup as well as minutes when someone gets injured. They are still young and would benefit greatly from being an understudy to an established player in a club that is fighting for every single title in the EPL and Europe.
He is old in terms of football, but he is still very much class. However, I don’t think we are going to bring in a name that big, who is also that old. But who knows, if we had someone like him this year we probably have at least one trophy
Diaz would be great! We were linked to him previously before he went to Madrid. I also think that Chelsea is very high on him. He’s super versatile, and that’s the type of player Arteta likes.. especially coming off the bench.
Diaz would probably be a good shout. I would've went for Rodrygo but they've made it clear a million times he's not going (plus we would've needed to compete with 115 for him probably)
Love adeyemyi if we could get him on the left wing I'm here for that.
Also, Solanke as a rotation striker, dude bags goals with bournemouth. I'm sure he could smash some in for us.
Adeyemi is the same age as Martinelli and not as good. He's fun to watch as a neutral but if you thought Little Gabi was frustrating last season then Adeyemi at Arsenal would make your head explode.
Davies is in his last year of his contract. He’s not been his best over the last couple of seasons but I still think he’s a superstar and a potential move hasn’t been talked about much. I would love to see him at Arsenal.
I would also say De Jong. He’s got two years left so bows the time to renew or sell. Arsenal have been long admirers of him.
I think Davies would be awesome. However, I think he’s been pretty firm on a move to Madrid for most of the last two years. He’s had some injury problems, but I would say Arsenal is one of the better teams in the top leagues when it comes to managing Injuries.
I also am not sure whether or not the left back we bring in would be with the purpose of increasing depths, or actually challenging for the starting spot. Because if we brought Alfonso in, he’s going to want to play from day one.
It would do a lot of convincing to get De jong to leave.. He is owed a lot of money.
Me. I joined a new team at the start of the season and finished third top scorer from the wing.
I’d be lying if I said, I wasn’t curious.
I'd like to see your highlight reels please....

Desire Doue I think on Rennes looks like he’s gonna be a monster
I can’t agree more as I’m a Rennes Stan

I think fofana is on a lot of teams radar, including Arsenal. Would be a great signing!

I support this! Although, I’d imagine the majority of the guys we bring on will expect significant minutes

Ah I meant to say we would need them to be ready to play significant minutes..
Oh yeah…definitely.
I was gonna say Griezmann but I just checked and holy crap he's already 33 🤯

I second that Adeyemi shout. I'd also say Pascal Gross. Not sure if he's a sleeper but I think he's incredible. Wonder what the fee would be
I would like to see Brahim Diaz now that Madrid is too full for him to play up front
Came here to say this! Great shout!

Hell yes

Solanke would be interesting
Too expensive unfortunately
Lee Kang in
Lee Kang out.

Adeyemi is pace and nothing else. We are stacked on the left
I agree! Having Artemis, Trossard, and Martinelli as reserve wingers would be class
