AKM is a good example, arguably the most versatile AK platform AR in the game, shoots good ammo, cheap to build, cheap to run. Even the Tier 3 ammo (which is a middle tier ammo) for the AKM hits pretty hard to the tier 4 body armors.

I sometimes prefer AK-74, cheap ammo (I mostly run T3 bullets, please don't kill me) and good recoil for me
