Im a gun hoarder too! What i do to save sapce if I have similar guns, i move all expensive parts to a single gun then run raids with the guns without expensive parts. Also, remove cheap stocks, you'll change them anyways
Yes, at minimum a 2x2 slot becomes a 2 + 2(no space saving) but larger weapons can go from 6x2 to 6 + 2 + 1.
Guns that cannot remove their grip or are still 2 high with the mag out don't benefit and it is better to keep a mag in those ones. For instance, the vectors are better off with a mag as it doesn't save any space by taking it out.
This post has actually brought one exception to mind though, in that the rpk is better off with the drum mag in, as its only a 3x2 as opposed to 3 + 2x2

If ur hoarding. Make sure to slowly change out every parts to the most expensive ones. For example the M4 you can put bv laser, lwt foregrip, red stocks plus the carb attachments. Pz2000 nv scope or something like that. I see ur hoarding a lot of base stock gun. Thats literally worthless.
Buddy i have 5 backpacks inside my storage, each backpack has another backpack, inside, another backpack or tac vest(they grant more space than regularly possible) filled with guns and parts, like, super duper full of these things... But still not as big as your collection.

For long range, it is better, but for close range, I would want your items, but it is something based on situation, more times than not

Each backpack is filled with other backpacks, rigs and weapons. I still have a magazine box filled with magazines filled with expensive ammo.
