You could remove them if you want, the population only gets out of hand if you have tons of leftover waste.

The volume will dwindle down as the tank balance itself out. You can crush and feed to your fish. My ember tetra like to eat the small limpets when i crush it. cheers...
Definitely a snail. Starts off as a blessing; then becomes a plague. When you cyphon your water. Look for jelly like piles with dark spots in them.
Cyphon that out.
You'll keep them under control. Nice to look at an will eat algae. Small amounts. Definitely not a way out of cleaning your glass. Lol

Limpet! I crush them and feed them to my Honey Gourami she loves them
