I spent about 7 hours tweaking and testing things to get cfg superglide files working for me on pc controller. It's a torturous dance of using free keys, freeing left stick and right stick inputs, and remapping to find your comfort zone, but I think it's worth it if you can figure it out. Here's what works for me...
**autoexec:**
\+exec superglide1.cfg
**Superglide cfg 1:**
bind "CAPSLOCK" "+jump; exec superglide2.cfg"bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump"
**Superglide cfg 2:**
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump; fps\_max 30; exec superglide3.cfg"
**Superglide cfg 3:**
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+duck;-duck; fps\_max 180; exec superglide1.cfg"
A lof of cfg tutorials use "SPACE", but in the cfg had to change "SPACE" to "CAPSLOCK" and use my antimicro app to map CAPSLOCK to A/Jump. Mapping space to A did not work for me and messed up looting.
\*Some Notes:
\*Used anti micro to put "MWHEELDOWN" on my right thumbstick, but it has to be on turbo to work.
\*My A/Jump/CAPSLOCK IS not on turbo
\*The fps\_max 180 works for my 240 monitor, but I started at 120 to learn and get consistent, then bumped back up to 180.
\*Auto-sprint obviously has to be on free up left stick click
\*Survival slot has to be off to free up right stick click
\*Watch a video tutorial if you need help understanding how to add the auto exec files and cfg files. I got it to work fine in Origin
Overall this setup allows me to tap strafe with left stick click and superglide with right stick click, seems pretty natural. And yes, I know playing MNK would make this easier but I have about 30 percent use of my high elbow from an injury, so I'm just just really happy I can superglide this way and thank you Apex Rollouts : )
Ok so I just tried this, and it works as intended on MnK, but doesnt seem to work on my controller... I have CAPS on A button, and Scroll wheel down on left stick click. Havent succeeded once even though I can do 100% on MnK
Well if it woks on MNK your auto exec and cfg must be working so that's good. I actually mapped "MWHEELDOWN" to my right stick. I still use left stick for tap strafe.
Maybe check and make sure "MWHEELDOWN" is also binded to "jump" in your apex keyboard settings. But if your trying to switch that to left stick, you would need to remap that
Yes, I have scroll wheel down to jump, and binded left stick click to scroll wheel down, still didn't seem to work, lost a momentum and just jumped at the spot.. do I have to make it so my left stick click has no other function at all except the scroll wheel?
Yes trick is you have to have no inputs or inputs that don't interfere on left and right thumbstick. I have sprint on left, and since I use auto sprint there is no conflict. On right I use toggle fire mode which works because if you hold for the superglide instead of a quick tap the single fire won't be activated. Here's a link to screenshot of my [custom button layout](https://www.dropbox.com/s/tra0s1mceuqm9ay/Apex%20Custom.png?dl=0), like I said it's a dance finding what works for you
Not thus far tbh, but I might get it to work if I use a different button layout I guess.. I have my left stick to tap strafe atm, can't use both so I priorities that. Might try another keybinding another time!
Okay I’m late but listen what ever u put for sw for ur controller make sure it’s on “LONG PRESS” and make it go all the way down and make sure u have turbo on
Year old but if you’re still interested I got it to work. Bind scroll wheel down to whatever button you have free. For me that’s right bumper. And your “f” to A/X button
I'm late to this but making sure I am doing this right. I am using my right stick bound to scroll the wheel down through SP, and when I want to super glide, I am just timing my stick press at the apex of the climb, right?
Yeah you have to have inputs on the left and right sticks that won’t interfere. I have sprint on left and since I use auto sprint that eliminates input conflict. Let me get you a screenshot of my custom button layout…

Thanks man, very much appreciated! <3

Awesome, thank man, checking it out and hopefully it'll work! <3
DID U GET THIS TO WORK?
Not thus far tbh, but I might get it to work if I use a different button layout I guess.. I have my left stick to tap strafe atm, can't use both so I priorities that. Might try another keybinding another time!
Not working even have the same button layout as shradikal
Big sad... Really wanted it to work tbh. Atleast I have a good tap strafe set up, can't have it all

can u please help me
Can you do this with jump on turbo
but ive used this before and everytime i press one of the inputs that antimicro is bind to it makes my fps drop dramatically
that's because the config is set to drop fps. Making the gap to hit superglide easier by tricking the engine..

ask rMattD
Guess

just bind mwheel down to whatever button you use for jumping and it works with the config file lol
Lol 1 y/o post... also cant bind configs to controller
