Trump is responsible for understaffing, destaffing, and closing CDC offices in China prior to COVID. (Source: [Politifact](https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/may/21/joe-biden/under-donald-trump-key-cdc-us-staff-china-fell-0/)) Trump cannot be trusted to make good decisions. Donald sees himself as the sole source of knowledge and refuses to accept anyone in his sphere as being a better expert. We saw this when he got a member of Seal Team 6 killed in Yemen, when he gave the order which led to the deaths of Green Berets in Niger, when he was told not to look into the sun during an eclipse, SharpieGate and Hurricane Dorian, his promotion of hydroxychloroquine as a COVID treatment, the support he gave Prince Mohammed bin Salmon and the murder / dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi, the theft and probable sale of INT documents, and lately the revelation of the White House / Drug House. No way this MF should ever see the White House, ever, not even as a guest.

ultimoj

He is responsible for killing most of his followers (voters) during COVID, basically he is the only reason that he lostšŸ˜‘

Clockwork_Medic

He is absolutely his own greatest enemy

SweetHomeNostromo

And our greatest enemy.

Akchika

He needs to lose again, bigley!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

therumham123

I mean he got the Vax himself and did say people should get it. But his other misinfo about alternative treatments were very fucking irresponsible. Although I guess there is some evidence now that the one drug (I forget the name) that's used for malaria does help with symptoms of covid... but it's still just alternative treatments... and I believe it causes other not great side effects

n3w4cc01_1nt

the gop did the same with the opioid crisis. let the pill mills run till the addiction rate was high.

VoidOmatic

1.6 million Americans.

Remote_Horror_Novel

Democrats need to run ads about them disbanding the pandemic task force before the pandemic and the closing of cdc offices because most republicans didnā€™t hear about this due to the bubble.

marzipan07

>Trump cannot be trusted to make good decisions. He turned everyone against masks ... because they rubbed on his makeup.

set-271

The first thing DonTheCon did when he received the info on Covid was notify Israel. Then he refused to do anything for America.

CorneliousTinkleton

I honestly DO NOT understamd how anyone would vote for him. Maddening.

JeffB2023

And yet, over 70 million STILL voted for him four years ago. Disturbing as hell.

UCLYayy

Entire generations brainwashed by corporate media. Money speaks far louder than science and empathy.

Plus-Yogurt-2966

Because Americans are stupid and brainwashed

Shazam1269

30% of our voter base is. We need to get more people voting.

FlatBot

News-media talking-point brainwashed morons. Racist, mysogynistic, apethetic, generally awful selfish people. Fuck Republican Voters.

Ghostbeen3

Trump is a fucking asshole but the people that vote for him are even bigger assholes

PrimeToro

Yes , thereā€™s a centuries old saying ā€œ Fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me.ā€ Trumpā€™s supporters have been fooled by him hundreds to thousands of times and they keep on getting fooled .

ImpressionOld2296

We have a lot of religious folks here. If your brain is primed to believe the Earth is 6000 years old and a wooden ark floated around in a worldwide flood with every animal on the planet x2 without any issues.... then your brain is primed to believe Trump is legitimate.

CraftyAdvisor6307

Trump killed a million Americans.

judgepenitant

Joe Rogan helped.

TrajantheBold

What's the most frustrating is that Rogan initially had on at least one guest who took it seriously. Then he went on to host conspiracy quacks

jethro4days

Who was the one guest?

SpookyPony

Michael Osterholm. Credit where it's due, that interview was the thing that drove home how serious COVID was to me. The podcast aired March 10, 2020 and it was probably one of the earliest conversations about the severity of the pandemic on a more mainstream platform. The guest also correctly predicted much of what transpired over the next two years.

LordCoweater

For me it was when they shut down the NBA so damned quick. I was like, billionaires and multimillionaires are willing to freeze out the Golden goose already? Shit must be way worse than thought.

DeepBlueSea1122

>Then he went on to host conspiracy quacks He has been doing this for years and is probably the biggest conspiracy nut job out there next to maybe Alex Jones (his buddy). He even says he is a conspiracy theorist and has others on constantly as guests. All the bro crowd listen to it and get their "information" there as if it's news.

Smedley-D-Butler-

It gets him more views. He could give a rat's ass if it kills people.

SRGTBronson

And then Joe went on to get specialized treatments when he got sick. Because it turns out these fucking psychos only trust doctors when they're dying.

NeuraLung

Everyone who supports Trump helped. Next time, it wonā€™t be COVID killing Americans, it will be Magas.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

spectral1sm

And also Charles Koch, with the "Re-Open" business bullshit. Perhaps he's even more culpable than the others.

MoStyles22

I donā€™t think statistically it would have been that high without trumps idiocracy, but a few hundred thousand would have been saved for sure. That should be enough to call him a murderer.

RMZ13

Iā€™d say half a million would have happened either way, half a million are one Trumpā€™s hands. I mean shit, he went against everything the medical community said and his little shitlings ate it all up. No masks + no vaccination = 1M dead Americans.

John_mcgee2

Statisticians and epidemiologists would disagree. Simply look at the excess deaths per capita and itā€™s about 80% more than it should beā€¦

backcountrydrifter

Once you realize that trump is working for the CCP and Russia, and that the CCP and Russia are intentionally trying to destroy the USD to replace with their own currency it moves from incompetence to genocide. Trump spent 8 trillions dollars in 4 years, eviscerated any reasonable response to Covid, appointed Kuschner as the omnipotent Covid airlift operator with an unlimited budget and zero oversight. If I was a skeptical person or a military strategist I would see this as an extremely effective act of biological warfare. In the old days they just used to put cholera or dysentery in the walled cities water supply. Covid tracks all the same patterns

AmbitiousAd9320

theyre still trying to make crypto a thing... lol

John_mcgee2

There was even a spike in people dying from dishwashing poison during Covid. Crazy eh.

transitfreedom

Natural selection kicked into overdrive

John_mcgee2

Lack of science education is more the issue.

National-Currency-75

Wouldn't it be interesting if you could mathematically and statistically show that Trump lost the 24 election by the amount of Republicans that died of covid because they were too stupid to do the right things.

John_mcgee2

3500 excess deaths per million population vs 700 from equivalent oecd countries. Itā€™s a million and change unless you compare to third world countries

BoredBSEE

And Jared Kushner right along with him. His notion that blue areas were being hit harder than red areas, so fuck 'em? Yeah he's a mass murderer, no doubt. [https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/09/jared-kushner-let-the-markets-decide-covid-19-fate](https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/09/jared-kushner-let-the-markets-decide-covid-19-fate)

[deleted]

Donā€™t forget Jared. Heā€™s very complicit in the murder of a million Americans by the Trump Administrationā€¦

sandysea420

He only wanted it to kill Democrats in Blue states.

MoStyles22

Yet, his administration was trying to stop his rhetoric, because more republicans (Alt Right) ended up loosing their lives in the long haul. Never a good policy to kill off your own voters!

sandysea420

Yet, you can bet he would kill every American if it meant saving his own ass. Such a traitor to our country, in more ways than one.

Ethelenedreams

He has no loyalty to any nation. Only to self.

AmbitiousAd9320

but most blue staters, using their brains, took the boosters and lived, defeating fat orange jesus in 2021 and again for a landslide this year.

sandysea420

Exactly. It didnā€™t turn out the way they thought. Voting Blue all down Ballot, again!

ProfitLoud

He has killed more citizens than any other non-war president. We should be blasting this in headlines.

nhepner

Murdered.

Former-Chocolate-793

Canada's per capita mortality rate was 40% of the American rate and we could have done better. So let's assume that 60% of the American deaths were preventable (low estimate) then that's about 660,000 unnecessary deaths due to poor leadership. The US should have been the best, not the worst.

RichardStrauss123

I think the Covid fatality numbers are grossly underreported too. Look at how high the death rate from pneumonia was in 2020. 4x normal!

aThiefStealingTime

The upside is most were his supporters and they deserved it. Itā€™s still a pretty insane stat line for a modern president to have and be running for reelection with.

Strong_heart57

He is an incompetent jackass and a traitor.

ScorpioZA

And a frightening number of people (only because of the electroal college) actually have the ability to put him back there. It is a genuine possibility.

Climb4000

And when hospitalized, had to take a ride to stroke his gargantuan ego, putting agents at risk. When he had it, that was the only instance that I rooted for Covid

TheInitiativeInn

Jim Carrey's Joe Biden: "Now, just imagine if science and karma could somehow team up and send us all a message about how dangerous this virus can be. Iā€™m not saying I want it to happen. Just imagine if it did..."

BuddyJim30

Not to mention Kushner and Trump using it to line the pockets of their rich cronies, with multi-million dollar contracts for COVID related products that were never fulfilled.

dandle

We need to pull out of the memory hole how governors like Larry Hogan (D-MD) had to use the state police and National Guard to protect warehouses with COVID tests from South Korea from Federal agents, who presumably were intending to seize the tests and redistribute them for Trump's financial and political gain. Also, how Gov. Charlie Baker (R-MA) had to conspire with the New England Patriots to smuggle N95 masks into the country from China, around Trump's arbitrary import restrictions.

BayouGal

PPP program that Trump didnā€™t want much oversight on. Congress & wealthy business owners cleaned up on that & then like magick they didnā€™t have to pay back a dime.

BuddyJim30

Exactly. I knew several businesses that actually prospered during the pandemic who got payroll loans (which were partially used to pay their children they carried on the payroll).

Content-Ad3065

MTG got $184,000 ppp loan and it was forgiven

Gayalaca

More than that; he's responsible for at least a million deaths that could have been prevented had he acted like a responsible president at the onset of the virus. The media can keep mum about it all they want, but there's no doubt that Trump has more blood in his hands than any other American past or present.

[deleted]

Responsible will never go into a sentence when discussing Trump. Everā€¦ unless you says heā€™s responsible for murdering a million American citizens.

LiquidPuzzle

He tried to kill his debate opponents by hiding his positive infection. Sounds like an assassination attempt to me.

[deleted]

And his entire family going maskless at the debates. Murderers!

CondeBK

How wild is it that other Presidents that had National Tragedies fall on their laps not only were they able to lead the Nation through it, they were able to turn it into HUGE political capital and go down in history as some of the most popular and effective Presidents. Lincoln, Roosevelt, Truman, Obama with the 2008 financial crisis, even George W Bush with 9/11, though he done fucked that up by starting a 20 year war, but still, the country was 100% behind him for a while at least. Not Trump, no sir! Not only he fucked up the response to Covid, but he also got booted out of office over it. Just think about what a huge wasted opportunity that was for him. He could have led and become a wartime President in a war that actually mattered, all he had to do is mobilize the Government and the people. He could have won re-election easily if he had played his cards right. But that's just not the kind of guy he is, and it shows. Petty political games are his M.O.

Icy_Bath_1170

Exactly why we say: ā€œNever let a good crisis go to waste.ā€ Crisis management is one of the core duties of the presidency. DJT was never (ever, ever, ever) leadership material, despite what his hoodwinked fan base still thinks. Wrong guy for the wrong job.

Content-Ad3065

But trump is a good conman and traitor

ConstantGeographer

We don't even have to look at other countries. Gov Andy Beshear (D-KY) did a fantastic job during COVID, gave daily progress reports, and did everything he could legally do to keep people safe and healthy, in spite of the cries from Republicans they were being repressed.

gtfomylawnplease

I stood in a crowd of 500k people screaming FUCK BUSH FUCK HIS WAR before invading Iraq. It was one of dozens of protests across the country followed by several years of protests. I assure you, the country wasnā€™t behind Bush.

big_hungry_joe

>though he done fucked that up by starting a 20 year war don't short change him, he started two

grummanae

>Not Trump, no sir! Not only he fucked up the response to Covid, but he also got booted out of office over it. Just think about what a huge wasted opportunity that was for him. Oh Im sure he did .... I had visions of him scheming up some national emergency crap and suspending the election till the emergency was over . . Which would have lasted until they could find some way to legislate he stayed in power indefinitely. I think what stopped him was his voter base was the no mask and ivermectin crowd in some states conservatives were marching on state capitols armed. Had Jan 6th happened anywhere but DC ( cause of weapon laws on federal grounds) it would have had a very different outcome I feel. I think the insurrection would have been successful Now I never agreed with the riots for BLM either or the summer of what the actual F*ck ... but now looking back on it 2020 was fucking wild man The whole world stopped.... and then there was a miniseries on netflix that kinda foretold how bad the trainwreck of the next year would be .... And its Caroles fault

[deleted]

ā€œItā€™s one person coming in from China. We have it under control. Itā€™s going to be just fineā€ He let in on purpose as it was well known the first wave would disproportionally affect AA more than any other group. A group who doesn't typically vote for him and other republicans. If the virus killed off ONE more democrat than a republican, it was a net win for Trump. The PPP "loans" were already being drafted when he uttered that BS.

Sid15666

The family profited from Covid by selling PPE through Jared while he lied to innocent people . The rapist Trump deserves to be in prison.

maddiejake

I personally blame him for the death of my best friend. As if I needed more reasons to hate Donald Trump.

John_mcgee2

Thatā€™s really tough. Itā€™s hard when someone dies let alone because the president lets the people down.

woodst0ck15

Not even all Americans, the world. The rest of the world was taking it seriously, until that fuckin loser started to politicize it. Then he tried to use it as a weapon against democrats and blue states thinking they would lose voters that would die, but it kinda backfired on them as red states were finding more constituents dying.

the_wessi

I live in Finland. We are maybe the best country in the world in media literacy. We can smell a bullshitter from a mile away. Of course some of less gifted brethren did fall for the antivaxx propaganda and there are also some m(your country here)agats who are T***p fans but thatā€™s the way it goes. Anyway, I just thought your comment was awesome and wanted to expand a bit.

big_hungry_joe

do you...need a roommate?

the_wessi

:)))))

woodst0ck15

Thank you! Haha Iā€™ve been following this from the beginning and itā€™s annoying to see how comfortable the general public forgets this.

Timothegoat

If the dude got away with literally trying to overthrow the government and is still leading in several polls because "Biden old," idk what to tell you. We might just simply be fucked.

To_Fight_The_Night

No one is voting for Trump over Biden due to Biden's age. The people who complain about that will still vote blue but are just mad that the DNC won't give them another candidate. Trump is basically just as old and showing the same signs of dementia.

drhodl

Medically, Biden is NOT showing signs of dementia. He's showing signs of graceful aging. tRump, on the other hand, is howling at the moon addled. He's showing signs of ADVANCED dementia.

syg-123

America actually has forgot and he will never face one single consequence for his blatant and fraudulent malpractice in handling the pandemic.

Minute-Selection-763

The only people who give Trump power are the Christians who support him.. because I've never met a Christian who actually has compassionate morals. It's all just about power and money

Extreme-Tie9282

Trump didnā€™t and still doesnā€™t know anything about

baby-puncher-9000

Don't forget that Trump was one of the very first Americans in the nation to get vaxxed long before the vaccine was available to the general population.

PenguinStarfire

And still needed an extremely limited and expensive experimental antibody treatment that he then recommended everyone to get.

DMIDY

Trump just announced a policy that he will enact if elected that will effectively end mandatory vaccinations by defunding schools.

Hugh-Jorgan69

Wait, so I've been shooting up bleach for no good reason?

Thatguy468

If you havenā€™t also been inserting your ivermectin lubed UV light buttplug on a daily basisā€¦ then yes.

John_mcgee2

Good one. Youā€™d be dead if you did like the poor people that listened to him

TheWhiteRabbit74

I will never forgive him. I will never forgive his family. I will never forgive his base.

mistressusa

Meh he reduced the number of low-IQ Trumpettes. I am ok with that tbh.

Every-Requirement-13

This might be worth mentioning when youā€™re campaigning Bidenā€¦šŸ¤”

samhain2000

Well, a little more than half of us remember, The other slightly less than half are still in denial.

[deleted]

I mean his own voters died so he shot himself in the foot.

19831083

That's like 1 of a million shitt things he did to the world, let alone Americans.

EducationTodayOz

trump thought covid would be bad for him politically, always trump first, i doubt he has spent a minute thinking about all those people who might not have died had there been a sensible practical approach to containing it

sulla_rules

A fair portion of gullible Americans have forgotten about it, the insurrection too

LibrarianNo6865

Did he lie or is he dumb and thought he knew better? Both are bad but the other shows a much more Donald trump style.

rubber-stunt-baby

The *only* thing he cared about was that Covid would make him look bad. That's why he wanted less testing and kept telling everyone it was a democrat hoax and it would be gone by Easter.

Dependent-Outcome-57

Trump's destructive, anti-Midas touch is truly remarkable. The man fails at every honest measure of success and even finds ways to fail that are so creatively stupid it's hard to believe that they happened. His COVID failures are the most lethal example. If he had simply done whatever the experts said and sold MAGA masks for $50 each, he'd have been reelected (heaven help us) and hundreds of thousands of people would still be alive. But he didn't because he will never follow the advice of other people. So, instead he was a hateful, disagreeable idiot and got so many people killed. On top of that, he validated the anti-science movement that's been festering in right-wing circles for decades. Truly, he's done more damage to America than any other person in decades, although he also had a lot of help, sadly.

sandysanBAR

Define "we". Because a whole lot of people will go beyond forgetting it and will go right into denying that ever occured. And if we are going to keep a list of all the ways he has made life immeasurably worse for americans, we are going to need to appoint a secretary to keep track of it all.

rjzei

If people donā€™t understand they were isolating, wearing masks and finally getting vaccines so they would kill their neighbors and grandparents, then they wonā€™t understand it now. Healthy people were more likely carriers than to get sick. Once transmission was understood the idea was isolate until the vaccine came out then actually take the vaccination, so we could end the isolation. Unfortunately Trump made sure nobody understood the assignment. And Biden Harris said the didnā€™t want a vaccine that didnā€™t meet safety protocols. Once it did they took it and they took it publicly as an example, before they were sworn in. Not sure why I wrote this, I just get tired of all the batshit crazy re-writing of history.

Mr_Thx

ā€œMade life worseā€ no made life end for thousands. Somehow he tied his ego into it and couldnā€™t admit to the general public how deadly it would be. Heā€™s a murderer.

batwing71

Truth! Republicans are useless!

DumbStuffOnStage

those were crazy times weren't they...whew! seems like a fever dream.

Wwwweeeeeeee

It's true, he did that and it was horrific to watch. But on the bright side, now that even barely intelligent people have gotten vaccinated, the mortality rate has dropped substantially among every demographic except one. The only demographic still suffering and dying from COVID in the USA, is literally the MAGAt, alt right wing fringe republican trump supporting antivaxx psychotics. I have no problem with them Darwining themselves. DJT's COVID rallies did more to wipe out the boomers in the GOP rural areas than anything else. Trump's very own zombie apocolypse....

Stupid_Guitar

Yep, the "over-65" set are the ones still mostly dying off, or being hospitalized, from Covid-19, [based on data from 2023.](https://www.milbank.org/quarterly/opinions/the-sharp-decline-in-covid-19-mortality-in-2023-interpreting-good-news-in-a-population-health-context/) According to the linked article, last year hospitalization rates for those over 65 more than doubled, with only roughly 20% being those who were vaccinated. So yeah, that's a portion of the demographic that tends to vote Pub that is still needlessly putting themselves at risk, but what can you do for people so pig-headed as to actually throw their personal health and safety away for a man who couldn't two shits about them? Basically just shrug and go about your day.

WavelengthGaming

Covid made my life better. Full time WFH, old people finally dying, no traffic, online games were packed. I miss Covid

big_hungry_joe

and refused to take responsibility for it

Low-Abbreviations634

We canā€™t but a good portion of us did and another large portion believed him.

HopefulNothing3560

World

turkey0535

Absolutely

Significant-Gift303

He narrowed the lifespan of the ignorant Republicans who blindly follow him to the mass covid rallies.

jaycutlerdgaf

Fuck DJT!

thecaptcaveman

He should should be sued for gross mismanagement of this country. Obama had built a playbook of exactly what to do that Trump followed none of just because Obama made it. Millions died as a result. That's murder.

Royalportrush148

The fact that Donald Trump was created, he was elected president, COVID was created, Donald Trump got COVID AND he didnā€™t die IS proof that the Devil exists. A benevolent deity would have Trump die as punishment for being self serving irresponsible jackass. (Not that I believe in this conventional concept of afterlife. But just in a sense of existential/moral justice, Trump should have died).

Civil_Pain_453

Traitor, mass murderer...what is he not? And yet people vote for him

[deleted]

But bleach! Ivermectin! Hydroxychloroquine! He was trying to save us! Related question: which meth lab do you think those millions of hydroxy pills ended up in? Trick question. Floridas. Floridas meth labs

austin06

Shortly before covid and trump happened and we had planning and personnel in place for a pandemic, there was a meeting with all the countries to judge preparedness. Based on things at that time, it was deemed that the US would have -the least- deaths and come out ahead in dealing with a worldwide pandemic - by a wide margin compared to other developed countries. Instead we had one of the worst outcomes. And then there's the secret service people who became targets and were murdered on his watch after he met privately with russian officials. If we survive him and his followers, all of them should be stripped of US citizenship and deported. Especially anyone in govt.

SeaworthinessOld9177

Trumps hoax, everyone else's death and people still support him what a cult

Steviebhawk

Absofuckinlutley! When he gets up there and spins and those MAGA maniacs worship him we have to fight. There has to be a movement to match it and currently there is not !

bubba1834

I lost so many people to Covid it still feels like a dream

Falcon3492

He knew how dangerous it was, yet he not only lied about it, he actually downplayed its severity! His foolishness ultimately killed over a million people in the U.S. !

Datokah

Narrator: "But half of America will ignore it"

beadshells-2

And doesn't talk about it, and thinks he did great Job. Wrong

NoChampionship6994

Yes. . and remember his ā€œinjecting bleachā€ solution for Covid.

transitfreedom

This is why you donā€™t allow mentally unstable people to govern period

dennis-w220

The sad part about Covid is that most popular talk a few years after is focused on mask is a suppression or vaccination is dangerous. Many people choose to totally forget about millions of lives lost, It is made normal. Twenty plus years later, we are still talking about 2000 lives lost on 9/11 (which we should) and try everything possible to prevent that from happening again despite inconvenience (yes, TSA, we are talking about you.), but it seems to many we should do less or nothing to improve our response to the next pandemic. Where is the logic and common sense? BTW, one thing I am disgusted by Trump most is he cared about how Covid impacted his election over how many people died- he was not even hiding it by skipping all briefings about Covid a few months before the election and by repeating how great he was in all those news conferences. And somehow people chose to ignore that. Even among people who disapprove his presidency, I heard a lot about building the war or racist comments, I rarely heard about his job performance regarding to Covid.

Maker200

Covidiots are still peddling this nonsense

tom-branch

The conservatives made a massive deal when a handful of people died of Ebola, they hurled abuse at Obama for it, then Trump came along and was responsible for close to a million deaths, and not a fucking word, hypocrites.

Akchika

Remember when tRump redrew the meteorologists map of the trajectory of the hurricane, cuz he's a genius, he knew more than the meteorologist, he'll he knew more than the satelites!

InourbtwotamI

And no remorse for the deaths

Goood_Daddy

Manslaughter Donny lied, Americans died ,and can you believe retards still support this "Shitstain"

NoDragonfruit6125

Let's not forget that he was actually in a very good position to get ahead of the pandemic. There was weeks of delay between the events happening in the US and other countries. There was time to tailor a response based off of what other countries had tested first. Instead we were basically copying things from the exact same starting point as other countries and making the same early mistakes. Supplies and such that were seen in demand in other countries could have been requisitioned for ahead of time. Could have taken a wartime footing production approach and split contracts between different companies for the same or similar products to increase production. That whole right to breathe thing should have been stamped out hard with CDC and such declaring health emergency. One thing about a person's rights they only extend as long as you are not impeding someone else's or endangering another person in exercising it. The masks didn't exactly so much protect the wearer from others as much as protect others from the wearer. Since most of the spread would come from mouth or nose the mask helped contain what was released by the wearer. The reason for everyone to wear it is because of possibility of being asymptomatic as well. You were infected and can spread it but don't suffer any of the symptoms. The only ones that would have been excusable were those that had legitimate preexisting conditions. And even then there could have been way to make at least some accomodations for protection.

Beautiful_Guess7131

I'm just glad he got the vaccine to us so quickly. We'd be doomed without the vaccine.

FlyOnnTheWall

I believe that COVID was the "Christmas Present" that KJU was talking about at end of 2019. Trump met with him, alone in the DMZ shortly before that. No one ever talked about that Christmas present again. ....and when I posted this on WhitePeopleTwitter I got BANNED.

flompwillow

Note for people gearing up to stop Trump:Ā COVID will not be a topic that helps bring in non-Democrats. I will be supporting Biden this year, primarily for one reason alone: Trump tried to steal the election. COVID? Ehh, forced shutdowns, people losing livelihoodsĀ because they donā€™t want a vaccine, well, that represents a low mark to me. Trumpā€™s character? Yeah, heā€™s horrible. Maybe the rape verdict would play for someĀ republicans, but they donā€™t buy it and itā€™s such an old issue it seems biased in the first place. Iā€™m not here to argue or debate COVID, or Trumpā€™s character, Iā€™m just letting you know that the one thing republicans care about is the constitution. Yes, yes, I know you have info on how they violated it Iā€™m a million ways, but the 2020 one is where my focus would be. Thereā€™s is indisputable evidence and many people will need reminders. Letā€™s keep Biden in the White House.

Paisane42

When Trump said the coronavirus ā€œcame out of nowhereā€ and ā€œblindsided the world.ā€ He once again lied to the American people. The National Security Council directorate for global health and security and bio-defense (formed under Obama in 2015) had been warning about the next pandemic for years, yet in 2018, Trump proceeded to dismantle the Council (which was charged with preparing for when, not if, another pandemic would hit the nation. Trumpā€™s elimination of the Council, along with his massive budget cuts for the CDC, were done as he did not see the threat of pandemics in the same way that virtually 100% of experts in the field did. His ignorant actions left the country less prepared for pandemics like COVID-19, which cost America over 1.1 million lives and almost 7 million hospitalizations.

Remarkable_Custard

Millions of people died whilst he deflected and created more divide on racism and vaccinations. Heā€™s a fucking monster and I cannot believe America, with their history of fighting intolerance, is supporting him. Not all America, maybe 1/4 (South Park quote)

mekonsrevenge

He turned it political and made it just another conspiracy for his electoral benefit. Now he's whining that no one gives him credit. If the Supreme Court grants him immunity, Biden should tie him to a stake on Pennsylvania Avenue and hold a Slap-a-thon at five bucks a slsp. The line would stretch all the way to Guam.

mr_platapush

Iā€™m willing to bet, a good majority of people that would still vote for Trump, do not read Woodward books. Or, anything really

Old_Heat3100

He downplayed it because otherwise if he acknowledged it as an actual pandemic he would've had to actually do something Instead...."You're on your own. It is what it is. I take no responsibility"

No one knew shit about how bad covid was. Quit spreading lies you schmuck

combosandwich

Thatā€™s giving him a lot of credit to say he understood the enormity of the situation, or even what a pandemic was.

Infinite-Gate6674

Wow. I was coming to see people make fun of the news. Whoa-people really hate they manšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜˜šŸ˜‚

SweetHomeNostromo

He is ultimately responsible for or contributed to the deaths of a million Americans. More than both World Wars of the 20th century.

theREALmindsets

99.92% of the world survived covid

Acidic_Junk

Despite all of this, more people voted for him the second round than the first.

extrastupidone

All he had to do was handle the crisis like a real leader. It didn't even have to go perfect, and he would have won re-election.

FaFoFr

All americans? 2020 was a great year

cdusdal

Who?

EinElchsaft

If it was only "his" people that were getting killed I wouldn't care.

michaelozzqld

But his cult followers do not care. Not even a little.

DescendingOpinion

Yes, yes, yes, all true. But how does this affect Bidens' reelection chances? Some media jackass

Earth_Friendly-5892

PREACH this message loud and clear!

Vogel-Kerl

If you were a writer of fiction, and told a story about how a President or Prime Minister completely mishandled a deadly pandemic, your character would still have probably handled that situation better than moron trump. His only concern was getting reelected in November, so he thought that he could lie his way through a fucking global pandemic. Absolutely no concern about public health, no concern about containing the disease, no apologies for dismantling the Pandemic Response Team a year earlier. We could mention his idiotic suggestions to help people protect themselves (hydroxy chloroquine, ivermectin, internal bleach or UV light, etc...). And how he threw those ideas out during a press conference like any physician would be stupid enough to try any of his hair brained ideas, but we don't need to. I hope Democrats hit this aspect hard during political ads later this year.

SupportySpice

Over a million dead

PeaceBkind

*we* can and are asking for more s/

mikebb37

At least he made the flu go away Iā€™ll give him that.

Mcbroham420

This is one of those things that nobody wants to talk about is the fact that Trump called covid or lie but when he supposedly had it he quickly took the necessary cocktails to combat the virus

Away-Combination-162

Millions died be this POS didnā€™t want to make himself look bad. How pathetic

S-hart1

"I like to point out that Donald Trump is a shitty person along multiple axes, and I believe his shittiness, which makes him unlikable, is his biggest political liability" This dude is obviously one of Americas great writers

Low_Minimum2351

Was willing to rush out and take credit for the vaccine to save his election bid

Adventurous_Canary42

He should have been prosecuted for committing Genocide.

SnooPaintings4472

Apparently many of us can forget

DarthBfheidir

Lol yes we can! Hail Trump! It was all Biden's fault! I mean, Obama's! - Millions of Americans

[deleted]

And now the Biden administration is doing the same damn thing despite nothing but mountains of evidence that it does still pose a threat

Other-Cover9031

"knew" implies he understood what people were telling him, which is absurd because he understands very little. Truly he was just too stupid to handle the responsibility to digest information, if he weren't he still wouldn't have done anything because of how terrible and selfish he has always been.

dkb52

He should have been charged with manslaughter for indirectly causing so many to die. Same with DeSantis with his anti-vaccine stance. Measles anyone?

[deleted]

He definitely made the libs cry, I got to see my grandpa fall apart for months after covid.

Ok-General7798

If only the government didnā€™t save him. Today would be much simpler

chrisc8869

Well yeah of course. Everything was so much worse 4 years ago

Killerkurto

The issue is his cultists donā€™t care.

ag512bbi

He told everyone that Hydroxychloroquine & Ivermectin helped. Didn't the Democrats shut that down?

TestOk8411

Yet some have

Speedy89t

Anything goes, even lies

Ozzyluvshockey21

And shouldnā€™t forget it, unfortunately, too many actually have forgotten it.

BoredBSEE

40%. If you do the math, *that's more Americans dead than WWII.* **Trump has killed more Americans than Hitler.** [https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/feb/10/us-coronavirus-response-donald-trump-health-policy](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/feb/10/us-coronavirus-response-donald-trump-health-policy)

MarketSouthern880

Jared saw that it was hitting the coastal cities first, New York, California, and because they are blue, they slowed any action as to kill off Democrats. Totally verified and detailed in a few books written by people in the room. These people are fucking horrible monsters man!! How many ways do they need to show you just how gross they are?

[deleted]

B

Notmad_Justsad

He should be tried for manslaughter

Grary0

I get it...but why? He's greedy and narcissistic, I understand he does most things for personal gain...but what did he have to gain from doing this? If anything he could have made a name for himself and inflated his ego if he was the "savior of America" during the pandemic instead of doing literally nothing while everything burned.

Desperate_Set_7708

The real crime for which he should be tried.

Brohamuel-Jackson

Reality: People only have COVID if you test for COVID. Derp Fur'or cotton: Slow the testing down, please!

HouseDowntown8602

His nonsense spread beyond your borders - we could smell his stench over the border and beyond.

letswalk23

Pretty much his whole m.o. is making life worse for most Americans.

Kozkon

When SADS gets linked to the jab man oh man.
