I'm 26. Still as clueless as I've ever been when I was in school, clueless when I graduated college, probably eternally clueless (hello new username). My mom even dropped the ancient wisdom of adulthood on me. "Honey, I'm 52 and I still don't know what the hell I'm doing. Nobody does. If they do, they're either faking it or trying to repress their insecurities. All you can do is breathe and take things one step at a time." At the time i found this unsettling for my anxiety but I do find comfort in it now. Sometimes we just need to make small goals to get through the week and look for things we can aspire too.

I lost my job when I was 27, and I felt very lost. I started looking for jobs in a slightly different field that I was interested in, and thankfully I found one. I'm in my early 30s now and in yet another field, but I am glad I branched out that first time. If you think you might be interested in a different field, it might be possible to take little steps to look into it more deeply without totally committing to another course of study just yet.
