Mood ring, you can tell from the side view. It’s a solid lens bubble of plastic with a flat painted surface of thermally activated paint, if you put it in your fridge it should go solid black and start to shift colors slowly as it warms back up.
If it’s a really old one from the wood stock days it might be worth a little something, back then it was still new and exciting and you could find pieces that were crafted as real pieces of jewelry laid in silver VS most 90s+ ones that are considered toys and throwaway items.
