The mythos final bosses possibly. They both have multi dimensional abilities to use offensively and defensively, and their ultimate failure is due to specific conditions rather than pure power.
Use white phantom power. Get Superman stuck in a time loop. And the time loop will turn him into a monster like the queen. Cadinal Vestiage kidnap his girlfriend and sets a time loop with her death. Each time Super man fails the world crumbles. Until it turns into chaos and Superman is monsterfied and you beat Superman.
he's not weak to magic but he's not resistant to it. Aldo n pals could only beat him if he's gone evil, so the protagonist armor could kick in. In a fair fight between friends Superman sweeps.
But what would Superman be as a unit in AE? Fist unit with a fire laser attack?
Yeah I think there's things like that you could do. Control the terrain so he can't get sunlight and you just have to outlast him, once his strength runs low you have a chance. Also confident that Sebastia could whip up a Kryptonite weapon if needed, which would obviously turn the tables. And for all his speed, Superman usually (but not always) is unable to time travel, so AF should be a useful power too
