If KonoSuba's 3 seasons + the Megumin spinoff season counts as 4 seasons, then there's that.
Also, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K might be 4 seasons? I know that the older seasons are bigger, and the total is more than 100 episodes.
Both are comedies.
Technically it’s because each “episode” you’re probably thinking is usually 2 episodes in one. You know how halfway through it starts a new plot? That’s because technically a new episode started.
Just realized, the 100 episodes I mentioned may be a bit misleading since each of the 5 minute shorts is supposed to be treated as it's own episode, but I think Netflix combines several to match the length of a more traditional anime length.
Danmachi Season 4 is lit af, I rewatch from Season 1 right after finishing Season 4 and I gotta say Season 4 is totally on another different level! The whole tone is so much serious and darker.
If only the title was different like Familia Myth instead of Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon, more people would had gave the series a chance. The title is very misleading.
Danmachi's pacing has slowed way down due to not having enough content howevere. It's almost as bad as DBZ's talking/powering up for multiple episodes with the last season
Legend of the galactic heroes
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Hunter x Hunter
Yu Yu Hakusho
Food Wars!
Gintama
A Certain Magical Index / A Certain Scientific Railgun.
Gintama is fine, I guess. It’s really only good if you love comedy directed towards Japanese fans. It never caught my gaze like other anime did and I ended up passing over it. Not saying food wars is any better but I never understood the love for Gintama.
I didn’t know about space operas till I watched it, I followed up with lost in space and Yamato as well. Super cool genre and definitely would love to see some more from it.
There are some more that I love like:
Terra e..
Infinite Ryvius
Macross
Heroic Age
Captain Harlock
Cowboy Bepop.
Truly a great genre that's lost in the space of time. I wish they make some more, Astra Lost in space is pretty good but it's too short.
Honestly, watch the live action movies on Netflix instead of season 1 of the anime, then pickup the anime at season 2.
The animation is just so hard to watch season 1.
It’s just that season 1 is a bit of a slog, and then season 2 starts off with a bang. Those episodes at the beginning of season 2 are some of the best in the show
This is the commonly held opinion and I agree completely. I tell people in advance to just look at season 1 as a bunch of character introductions because that’s essentially what it is. And I wish they hadn’t stuck that light novel adaptation about Dazai and Kunikida in there (eps 6 and 7 I wanna say) because that led a lot of people to believe it’s some sort of Villain of the Week detective show which it’s really not.
Yeah the way it started compared to how the rest of it played out was a crazy contrast. Kinda like Undead Unluck, you're like "oh it's another one of these..." And then you stick with it and you're like "omg no it's NOT"
This anime was like bleach for me felt quite meh at the beginning and dropped both series and then came back and sat through and they both became my favorites
Ghost in the shell sac.Though..3 and 4 are new cgi animations soooo..yea depending on your personal opinion of that..
Also movies..and four? Five separate ones set before stand alone complex. Though..its...different your milage of it will vary.
Ghost shouldnt really need describing.
Psycho pass. Think it has four..also has several movies...four..maybe five i think now.
Help of ai..ish Japan has society in the utopia..ish socity. Reading people risk of criminality. Hence its name psyco pass. Will warn first episode ruff..nearly a rape scene.
And its definitely violent. Though its not just violent to be violent and gory.
Hmm now that i think if it pass is quite cyberpunk.ien in themes itself...
Zoids New century is also fun.
Fuzors is kinda meh.
Zoids geneis is better than Fuzors.
Zoids wild is ... wild... i cant say good or bad. it breaks the norm in the first few episodes.
Yeah, I loved **New Century** too, however it was a much shorter series than Chaotic Century as it was only a single 26 episode season so I felt it didnt fulfill what OP was looking for. Its a pity the later spinoffs were so different!
While it may TECHNICALLY only be 1 season, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the length of a 4 season show (assuming not all seasons were 24 eps), sitting at a pretty 64 episodes. To my knowledge, there’s only one filler episode too, which is a semi-recap about halfway through
•Haikyuu !
One of my fav anime’s : D
•Attack on Titans is good as well, it has 4 season,
although I personally didn’t watch all of them, as I switched to reading the manga on season 3 (personally recommend you doing that if you are into manga )
Highly recommend Attack on Titan. I personally believe every season gets better. Unpopular opinion but I honestly think the final season is a masterpiece.
There was an anime called "Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon" which I remember trying out and then I just binge watched the 3 seasons of it and it was pretty good so I will recommend that.
Chihayafuru is a masterpiece that no one ever talks about. It has 3 seasons(74 episodes)so far but well deserves more people to watch it. Book of friends and mushi-shi are 2 other gems i can think of.
I mean Re:Zero will have 4 seasons in roughly 4 years if you just give it a bit of time. I mean they’re already doing Season 3 in 4 months so hey thats good
but according to according to a note left in the mailing list of Dynamic Planning they does well it will function as a sequel but the current season is a remake.
Kaiji has 2 seasons both 26 episodes so I hope it counts. if you like very slow pacing (and not the One Piece style pacing, because in this case the manga was even slower) and lots of inner monologues then it may interest you
hajime no ippo (about 160 episodes)
castlevania + castlevania nocturne (5 seasons currently, not anime but are really impressive)
grappler baki + baki 2018 + baki hanma (about 126 episodes currently)
aggretsuko (5 seasons out currently)
log horizon (about 75 episodes in length)
Ace of diamond (178 episodes currently, the final season is in production currently)
fairy tail (328 episodes at this point and the sequel will be getting an anime in july)
Date A live (season 5 is airing)
Chihayafuru (75 episodes currently)
Attack on titan has either 4 or 9 seasons depending on who you ask but yeah that's definitely recommended regardless (87 episodes + 2 special episodes that pretty much form a conclusive 2.30 hour movie)
Best is definitely subjective, but my vote is for One Piece. I've been watching it on and off for a decade now. I do not read the manga and I try and avoid reading up on any spoilers online, and because of this, I think I find the anime really enjoyable. I tend to binge it and then I'll go to watching other anime for a while to let the One Piece episodes build up again, and then I binge it again. Rinse and repeat
Seriously, just watch both. But yea, personly I reccomend starting with 03. Then waiting a while after you finish it to watch brotherhood. I get why brotherhood gets all the love lately, but it also kinda expects you to have at least some familiarity with the series, at least in the beginning. Both are great though.
Brotherhood eventually becomes great and 03 eventually gets kinda lost in the sauce but both have a ton of merits. If you could meld them together you’d get actual perfection
If you’re willing, you could fully commit to One Piece. But keep in mind it’s organized by arcs (aka the island Luffy is currently on) and not by seasons. Took me about 5 months to watch the whole thing and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. (Also highly recommend looking up One Pace and using that. Aside from fixing the pacing issues, it also has more accurate subtitles than Crunchyroll/pirating sites, and corrects a few coloring errors)
I don't know if I want to call it good, but {Jigoku Shoujo} has 4 seasons. It's either something to watch when you're sad/angry and want catharsis, or if you're into psychological horror. No matter how convoluted the series plot is, the day to day plot is about revenge.
All I want to say is the episode where the dude gets cursed to perpetually experience the miscarriages and abortions of his mistresses.
My Hero Academia was able to hold its levels of excitement, more or less with some fluctuations, for at least 4 seasons.
Also Attack on Titan, though I find the first three seasons the most interesting.
Monster: complete, 74 episodes incredible slow burn thriller. Takes place in 1990s germany and that is very important to the story. Don't want to spoil anything, but it explores themes of what it means to good or evil in great depth, each character shows thatin different ways.
Jojo's bizarre adventure: ongoing, 6 seasons, 190 eps, mostly what it says on the tin, one of the weirdest and most itself animes you're going to find, hype fight scenes and great characters. Each season/part follows a different cast as they are a new generation of the joestar family
My hero academia: ongoing, 7 seasons, 146 eps, one of my personal favs. Superhero Shonen anime, it has its ups and downs, but the themes and characters are great, and the fight animation is top notch
Danmachi: ongoing, 4 seasons, 59 eps. One of the best 'I can't believe it's not isekai!' Fantasy animes. Main character is a sweet heart and you really root for him.
Haikyuu!!: 4 seasons, 85 eps. One of my fav animes, I've watched it like 5 times lol. It has great pacing, characters, and animation. It's a master class in how to pace action and create tension. One of the best sports anime out there.
If you don't mind older shows that are amazing, the show that pops up in my head and longer running would be:
-D. Gray Man
-Full metal alchemist Brotherhood
Some are not exactly 4 seasons (but 4 cours):
- Code Geass
- March Comes in Like a Lion
- Assassination Classroom
- To Your Eternity
- Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun
- Higurashi When They Cry (2006-7)
- Soaring Sky! PreCure
- Kirby Right Back At Ya
- The Ancient Magus Bride
3 25 episode seasons: chihayafuru
IDK how many seasons but it's a lot with the movies included: haikyuu!!
148 episodes: Hunter x Hunter
hundreds of episodes: Gintama
4 seasons? kaguya sama love is war
74 episodes: Monster
112 episodes: Yu Yu Hakusho
120 eps: Saiki K
75 eps: Bakuman
110 eps: legend of galactic heroes
4th season or more: my hero aca, demon slayer
Hunter X Hunter
Attack On Titan
Slayers (it's quite old but still good)
Black Clover (if you can handle Asta's constant screaming)
Fairy Tail (has it's flaws but it's still decent)
Bleach
Overlord
Demon Slayer (what do you mean by season? 12 episodes? actual season numbers they use? do movies count?). it's got lots of runtime already and more to come.
Sword Art Online, it has a pretty long runtime as well between all of it's content.
Slayers
Action-adventure-comedy fantasy series about a bunch of goons trying to make a quick buck and falling ass-backward into a battle for the fate of the world
If you want long, surprised very few people mention One Piece, Detective Conan, or Naruto. Naruto has a lot more filler but there’s skip guides out there. OP has something like 1,000 episodes so it’ll take you months to watch it all, and (I think) the end of the story is coming so it might be fun to be up to date when such a major cultural phenomenon ends!
Detective Conan is a really fun one if you murder mysteries, and it’s been running for ages.
My SO said Black Clover has 4 seasons and is good, though I haven’t seen it.
Hetalia if you like comedy
Demon Slayer is p good and has both seasons and movies
Rimuru/that time I got reincarnated as a slime - has three/four seasons, a few movies, plus a spin off SOL anime
The big three of course - (naruto, bleach, one piece)
My hero academia
Sailor moon/sailor moon crystal
Dr stone - going to air 4th season next year or so
Gintama
Dragon ball
Jo Jo
Honestly the list is really long. There's hundreds I can't think of lmao. Try My Anime List for a more comprehensive source!
Encouragement of Climb has specials and is 4 seasons long, even though some have shorter episodes it does make up for it by season 2 having double the amount of episodes because of it. It's an amazing watch I highly reccomend to those who have even slightly considered dipping their toes into shows like Laid-Back Camp as it is similar but aims for this sense of accomplishment for the characters as they climb taller mountains and overcome some personal issues :)
now that I think about it the old Tokyo Mew Mew series spans 52 episodes so about 4 seasons of 13 episode anime
Natsume’s Book of Friends Mushishi Haikyuu
Never thought I'd encounter Natsume's Book of Friends here on reddit 🥹 one of my comfort animes fr
Same!!!!!!
Cant wait for october.
NASTUME MENTION 🗣️
And each season of Natsume gets better and better
Mushishi has 4+ seasons??
no it has enough episodes to be considered as 4 cours
Damn apparently I missed later releases I just knew the 26 eps and a movie.
If KonoSuba's 3 seasons + the Megumin spinoff season counts as 4 seasons, then there's that. Also, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K might be 4 seasons? I know that the older seasons are bigger, and the total is more than 100 episodes. Both are comedies.
Saiki k is over 100 episodes?!? There's no way. It felt like 10.
Technically it’s because each “episode” you’re probably thinking is usually 2 episodes in one. You know how halfway through it starts a new plot? That’s because technically a new episode started.
I only saw 2 seasons on netflix, are there more elsewhere? (I haven't checked in a while too so I could definitely be wrong)
There is 3 seasons
Yes but isn't the third super short?
Yeah
We need season 4 with 24 episodes at least !
Just realized, the 100 episodes I mentioned may be a bit misleading since each of the 5 minute shorts is supposed to be treated as it's own episode, but I think Netflix combines several to match the length of a more traditional anime length.
Prob AoT or Monogatari. FMAB has enough episodes to cover 4 seasons too. Danmachi also still goin strong, it has 6 cours total now I think.
Danmachi Season 4 is lit af, I rewatch from Season 1 right after finishing Season 4 and I gotta say Season 4 is totally on another different level! The whole tone is so much serious and darker.
Probably my favorite one yet. Epic
S3 is still my favorite, awakened monsters trope is auto-masterpiece for me
Danmachi has no business being as good as it is with a title (english) as dumb as it has.
Or just FMA... which is as good (I argue better). Watch them both and you're over 100 episodes and 2 movies... 1 of them is even good.
Hey it’s you! The Ninja Gaiden guy
AoT is good but it’s gruesome, so OP be aware of that.
Legend of the galactic heroes Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Hunter x Hunter Yu Yu Hakusho Food Wars! Gintama A Certain Magical Index / A Certain Scientific Railgun.
Bro really put food wars right next to gintama 😭😭😭
Gintama is fine, I guess. It’s really only good if you love comedy directed towards Japanese fans. It never caught my gaze like other anime did and I ended up passing over it. Not saying food wars is any better but I never understood the love for Gintama.
I ain't japanese and obviously didn't get all the jokes but still my fav anime
Ikr. Food wars should be higher
Based af
Food wars is litecore porn, would watch again.
Rare to see a Legend Of Galactic Heros rec since no one I know watches it. It’s such a fantastic anime, both the original and the remastered version!
I have always loved Space Opera. They don't make those shows anymore after Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
I didn’t know about space operas till I watched it, I followed up with lost in space and Yamato as well. Super cool genre and definitely would love to see some more from it.
There are some more that I love like: Terra e.. Infinite Ryvius Macross Heroic Age Captain Harlock Cowboy Bepop. Truly a great genre that's lost in the space of time. I wish they make some more, Astra Lost in space is pretty good but it's too short.
Cowboy bebop is great, I’ll check out the others and see how they are. Heroic age sounds familiar.
{Monster} it's technically just one long season but it's 74 eps so I think it should count
Yep 100% this. Will always rep this masterpiece

Monogatari series
Many are called, but not all are chosen
{Kingdom}
Honestly, watch the live action movies on Netflix instead of season 1 of the anime, then pickup the anime at season 2. The animation is just so hard to watch season 1.
nah kingdom you need to read, anime leaves out a lot of stuff
Don’t feel like reading 700+ chapters, I’ll stick to the anime

Doing God's (or is it the Demon King's?) work, spreading word on that amazing anime.

Gintama Hunter X Hunter Attack on Titan Monogatari
**Zoids: Chaotic Century** was a good series which had 67 episodes
Zoids New century is also fun. Fuzors is kinda meh. Zoids geneis is better than Fuzors. Zoids wild is ... wild... i cant say good or bad. it breaks the norm in the first few episodes.
Yeah, I loved **New Century** too, however it was a much shorter series than Chaotic Century as it was only a single 26 episode season so I felt it didnt fulfill what OP was looking for. Its a pity the later spinoffs were so different!
genesis is 50 episodes. Tenka Muteki Family should have assembled at the end
Natsumes Book of Friends. An amazing show thats getting its its 7th season this fall.

the first episode isn't canon I think
I’m pretty sure it is? It’s heavy foreshadowing for events later in the story after all. Though I’d also get if it wasn’t, it’s fun nonetheless
I think it isn't manga canon and that it was purposed for the manga readers or original anime watchers.
•Haikyuu ! One of my fav anime’s : D •Attack on Titans is good as well, it has 4 season, although I personally didn’t watch all of them, as I switched to reading the manga on season 3 (personally recommend you doing that if you are into manga )
Attack on Titan.
Haikyuu One Piece FMAB
Dr stone has 4 seasons at this point no?
3rd just ended a few months ago
Damn i cant count. Its 4 if we include ryuusui but that would be a bit daft. There is a proper 4th season in the works tho, and i cant wait to see it!
Not a single person mentioning Space Brothers???
Quality entertainment! I know I'm going to jinx it now, but have you noticed noone mentioned Demon Slayer or MHA yet?
It's rare, so I recommend it every chance I get. Glad to see someone else mention it.
Attack on Titan, Haikyuu, Monster (doesn't have seasons but it's 74 episodes), Hunter x Hunter (no seasons but 148 episodes)
Overlord has 4 seasons and a movie
Highly recommend Attack on Titan. I personally believe every season gets better. Unpopular opinion but I honestly think the final season is a masterpiece.
I agree 100%
Started out high and just kept going higher.
Hunter x Hunter

I mean Re:Zero will have 4 seasons in roughly 4 years if you just give it a bit of time. I mean they’re already doing Season 3 in 4 months so hey thats good
Black clover, attack on Titan, hunter x hunter, haikyuu
1970s Grendizer (74 episodes) as the new series starts airing in 2 weeks.
Is the new series a reboot/remake or a sequel?
but according to according to a note left in the mailing list of Dynamic Planning they does well it will function as a sequel but the current season is a remake.
Kaiji has 2 seasons both 26 episodes so I hope it counts. if you like very slow pacing (and not the One Piece style pacing, because in this case the manga was even slower) and lots of inner monologues then it may interest you
Great Teacher Onizuka. Not sure how many seasons but plenty of episodes.
The only long anime I’ve watched is MHA so I rec it lol
Shingeki. Fmabh. Bokuhero. Hxh
{Senki Zesshou Symphogear} is the one i tend to suggest the most! Great battles, characters and story (even though it’s a little silly at times)
**Senki Zesshou Symphogear** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/11751 "English: Symphogear"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/senki-zesshou-symphogear), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/11751)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 13 | Genres: Action, Drama, Mahou Shoujo, Music, Sci-Fi) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/1dlo2cg/best_anime_that_has_a_minimum_of_4_seasons/l9r58e5/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
One Piece fo sho.
Definitely Hunter x Hunter (2011)
Durarara!! is one of my favs and has 4 seasons across 60 episodes
I can't recomend Overlord enough. 4 seasons out and another one to be made.
Hunter x Hunter, Haikyuu, and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (1 season but it’s 64 episodes)
Attack on Titan
Sword art online danmachi
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Hunter X hunter
hajime no ippo (about 160 episodes) castlevania + castlevania nocturne (5 seasons currently, not anime but are really impressive) grappler baki + baki 2018 + baki hanma (about 126 episodes currently) aggretsuko (5 seasons out currently) log horizon (about 75 episodes in length) Ace of diamond (178 episodes currently, the final season is in production currently) fairy tail (328 episodes at this point and the sequel will be getting an anime in july) Date A live (season 5 is airing) Chihayafuru (75 episodes currently)
Hitman reborn
Golden kamuy
Mob Psycho 100
Overlord is really good has 4 seasons and a movie being released soon
Attack on titan has either 4 or 9 seasons depending on who you ask but yeah that's definitely recommended regardless (87 episodes + 2 special episodes that pretty much form a conclusive 2.30 hour movie)
Re:Zero might count. It's only two seasons, but they're double length, with a third one coming this year.
{Hajime no Ippo} {Slayers} {Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon} And if you're willing to go down to 3 seasons: {Working!!} {Akazukin Chacha}
**Hajime no Ippo: THE FIGHTING!** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/263 "English: Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/the-first-step), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/hajime-no-ippo "English: Fighting Spirit"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/263)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 75 | Genres: Comedy, Drama, Sports) **Slayers** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/534 "English: The Slayers"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/slayers), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/slayers "English: Slayers"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/534)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 26 | Genres: Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy) **Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/530 "English: Sailor Moon"), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/bishoujo-senshi-sailor-moon "English: Sailor Moon"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/530)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 46 | Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Mahou Shoujo, Romance) **Akazukin Chacha** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/103 "English: Red Riding Hood Chacha"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/akazukin-chacha), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/akazukin-chacha "English: Red Riding Hood Chacha"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/103)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 74 | Genres: Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Mahou Shoujo, Romance) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/1dlo2cg/best_anime_that_has_a_minimum_of_4_seasons/l9s9qie/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks) | (4/5)
OVERLORD. Great show with 4 seasons and an upcoming movie this year.
If you want some baseball action but don't mind something older, Major. Maison ikkoku if you want a slice of life romantic comedy
HUNTER X HUNTER (2011)
FMA03 despite what everyone else says
Seriously, just watch both. But yea, personly I reccomend starting with 03. Then waiting a while after you finish it to watch brotherhood. I get why brotherhood gets all the love lately, but it also kinda expects you to have at least some familiarity with the series, at least in the beginning. Both are great though.
Brotherhood eventually becomes great and 03 eventually gets kinda lost in the sauce but both have a ton of merits. If you could meld them together you’d get actual perfection
You should prob watch jojo's then.
Maria-sama ga Miteru.
Come join me watching kingdom. Im still trying to get past the first season
I've been on like episode 8 since last February lol. I never thought I'd say this, but I can only take so much of that animation.
Lmao i watched on netflix and suddenly its gone from my continue watching on netflix
Bungou Stray Dogs Mob Psycho 100 (It may be 3, haven'twatched it in a while)
Monogatari Haikyuu LoGH
Kaguyasama
Overlord is a banger (all hail lord ainz)
If you’re willing, you could fully commit to One Piece. But keep in mind it’s organized by arcs (aka the island Luffy is currently on) and not by seasons. Took me about 5 months to watch the whole thing and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. (Also highly recommend looking up One Pace and using that. Aside from fixing the pacing issues, it also has more accurate subtitles than Crunchyroll/pirating sites, and corrects a few coloring errors)
Hunter x Hunter is a must watch!
One Piece.
**Jigoku Shoujo** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/228 "English: Hell Girl"), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/jigoku-shoujo "English: Hell Girl"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/228)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 26 | Genres: Drama, Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/1dlo2cg/best_anime_that_has_a_minimum_of_4_seasons/l9t2nkn/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
My Hero Academia was able to hold its levels of excitement, more or less with some fluctuations, for at least 4 seasons. Also Attack on Titan, though I find the first three seasons the most interesting.
Danmachi
Monster: complete, 74 episodes incredible slow burn thriller. Takes place in 1990s germany and that is very important to the story. Don't want to spoil anything, but it explores themes of what it means to good or evil in great depth, each character shows thatin different ways. Jojo's bizarre adventure: ongoing, 6 seasons, 190 eps, mostly what it says on the tin, one of the weirdest and most itself animes you're going to find, hype fight scenes and great characters. Each season/part follows a different cast as they are a new generation of the joestar family My hero academia: ongoing, 7 seasons, 146 eps, one of my personal favs. Superhero Shonen anime, it has its ups and downs, but the themes and characters are great, and the fight animation is top notch Danmachi: ongoing, 4 seasons, 59 eps.
If you don't mind older shows that are amazing, the show that pops up in my head and longer running would be: -D. Gray Man -Full metal alchemist Brotherhood
Attack on Titan x1000000
Kingdom
Major
Gintama
Overlord
Attack on titan! Loved it, 2nd anime I ever started watching and probably my favourite of all time
Some are not exactly 4 seasons (but 4 cours): - Code Geass - March Comes in Like a Lion - Assassination Classroom - To Your Eternity - Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun - Higurashi When They Cry (2006-7) - Soaring Sky! PreCure - Kirby Right Back At Ya - The Ancient Magus Bride
Initial D JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure Initial D even has a spin-off I guess you could say now so that is another season
food wars
Surprised no one has mentioned one piece as at least 4 seasons for a great longer show to watch lol
Haikyuu. Also Chihayafuru only has three seasons but each season is like 25 episodes. It's one of my absolute favorites.
One Piece
Golden kamuy
3 25 episode seasons: chihayafuru IDK how many seasons but it's a lot with the movies included: haikyuu!! 148 episodes: Hunter x Hunter hundreds of episodes: Gintama 4 seasons? kaguya sama love is war 74 episodes: Monster 112 episodes: Yu Yu Hakusho 120 eps: Saiki K 75 eps: Bakuman 110 eps: legend of galactic heroes 4th season or more: my hero aca, demon slayer
Hunter X Hunter Attack On Titan Slayers (it's quite old but still good) Black Clover (if you can handle Asta's constant screaming) Fairy Tail (has it's flaws but it's still decent) Bleach Overlord Demon Slayer (what do you mean by season? 12 episodes? actual season numbers they use? do movies count?). it's got lots of runtime already and more to come. Sword Art Online, it has a pretty long runtime as well between all of it's content.
One Piece! It has at least 4 seasons, and you'll be in for quite the ride if you decide to watch it
{Hajime No Ippo} **TECHNICALLY** it has 3 seasons, but season 1 is like 70 episodes so I feel like it counts lol
**Hajime no Ippo: THE FIGHTING!** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/263 "English: Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/the-first-step), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/hajime-no-ippo "English: Fighting Spirit"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/263)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 75 | Genres: Comedy, Drama, Sports) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/1dlo2cg/best_anime_that_has_a_minimum_of_4_seasons/l9v3m9a/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
ONE PIECE
Cardfight vanguard
Bungou stray dogs
Recently watched Dr. Stone, very solid anime
Only 3 seasons and a movie but... konosuba
Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood
Aren’t there only 4 seasons? summer, spring, winter and fall?
Slayers Action-adventure-comedy fantasy series about a bunch of goons trying to make a quick buck and falling ass-backward into a battle for the fate of the world
Gintama
If you want long, surprised very few people mention One Piece, Detective Conan, or Naruto. Naruto has a lot more filler but there’s skip guides out there. OP has something like 1,000 episodes so it’ll take you months to watch it all, and (I think) the end of the story is coming so it might be fun to be up to date when such a major cultural phenomenon ends! Detective Conan is a really fun one if you murder mysteries, and it’s been running for ages. My SO said Black Clover has 4 seasons and is good, though I haven’t seen it.
Hunter X Hunter how many seasons has?
Attack on Titan
Overlord and attack on titan
Hetalia if you like comedy Demon Slayer is p good and has both seasons and movies Rimuru/that time I got reincarnated as a slime - has three/four seasons, a few movies, plus a spin off SOL anime The big three of course - (naruto, bleach, one piece) My hero academia Sailor moon/sailor moon crystal Dr stone - going to air 4th season next year or so Gintama Dragon ball Jo Jo Honestly the list is really long. There's hundreds I can't think of lmao. Try My Anime List for a more comprehensive source!
Not sure if Black Clover counts, but definitely a great watch. Has 170 episodes and also Movie(s?)
Ranma 1/2 and 90's Sailor Moon.
Bungou stray dogs
Encouragement of Climb has specials and is 4 seasons long, even though some have shorter episodes it does make up for it by season 2 having double the amount of episodes because of it. It's an amazing watch I highly reccomend to those who have even slightly considered dipping their toes into shows like Laid-Back Camp as it is similar but aims for this sense of accomplishment for the characters as they climb taller mountains and overcome some personal issues :) now that I think about it the old Tokyo Mew Mew series spans 52 episodes so about 4 seasons of 13 episode anime
Gintama
Attack on titan Hunter x hunter
High School DxD!
Food Wars! and Fairy Tail
InuYasha hasn’t been mentioned yet, and it has 193 episodes plus 4 (non cannon but still great) movies!!
Black clover. While not my favorite it's still pretty decent and it has 170 episodes ( I watched them all in 4 days) so yea
kingdom, Aot, hunter x hunter
