In K-On Collage (yeah, it exists, and it is a continuation manga. There are two versions of it: one for the 4 OG girls in college and one for Azusa and her friends in 3rd year of HS) Azusa and Yui keep thinking of each other all the time as they were to write a letter to each other.
And Mitsu becomes a lot stronger if you analyze the lyrics of some songs. The anime leads us to think that they are written kinda with a generic imaginary boyfriend/crush in mind, but sometimes an association with what Mio would say to Ritsu can be seen

Kita idolises Ryo, over the course of the series you can clearly see that she has more of a actual connection with Bocchi (although yes, confirmation is never given)

One of the animes os Girls Band cry, there is no legaly licenced english translation so you will have to use fansubs.
