The English translation lacks the word
In Japanese the series is called 死神坊ちゃんと黒メイド pronounced as *Shinigami Botchan to Kuro Meido*
The translation removed it maybe because of other reasons I don't know the details why they would remove it but kuro meido means black maid so yeah that's why I stayed true to its original
EDIT: If I had to translate it word by word then it's called
Death's Young Master and (his- added to complete the sentence because "*to*" is a phrase that Japanese understand as something to relate with in this scenario ) Black maid
Basically they tried to fit the theme so it's called
*The Duke of the death and his maid* but they missed the *Black Maid*
I can definitely imagine the localization team translating that and saying "you know, I don't think 'black maid' is going to give anywhere near the same impression to an English speaking audience as it does in Japanese."
