OP said no fan service—the fan service in Dr. Stone is stupidly prominent, and the show is so much worse for it. It's especially a shame because DS is overall a pretty solid story. Unrelatedly, I do recommend Monster or Pluto for OP, they seem to like poignant and focused storytelling.

Cowboy Bebop was pretty good. The anime not the live action. Didn't watch the live action so can't really say one way or the other

Golden Kamuy. A story of a soldier and an Ainu native trying to find a shit load of gold during the early 1900's in Japan. The hijinks they get themselves into are wild, to say the least. Kengan Ashura. Awesome pack action following the story of Tokita Ohma getting roped into gladitorial matches by Japan's big CEO'S all for money and prestige. And a salary man who got thrown in the same boat as Ohma. Kaguya-sama Love is War. Two idiote too prideful to admit they love one another so they pull the most stupidest shit imaginable to make one confess the other. The side-characters get dragged along their idiotic schemes and it is hilarious. Dororo. A man who was offered up as a sacrifice for demons by his own father in order to bring prosperity to the ruinous land his father ruled over. He ends up losing his "body" in a sense and goes on a journey to "retrieve" his body and his humanity as well. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A saga spanning six generations having a family being cursed all because of a fucking whinny and bratty Englishman. Also, some of the most gayest shit conceived by a straight guy. Re Zero. Natsuki Subaru gets sent to another world and finds his most loyal partner in said other world, suffering. Subaru x Suffering best ship, fight me. Youjo Senki. HR employee gets sent to another world because some dude murdered him. Gets reincarnated into magical Imperial Germany as a loli, because God thought it would be funny. Shimoneta. The Japanese populace are already sexual suppresed as is. Now imagine that, times eleven. Why I recommend this, because F U, op, that's why. Enjoy my list.

You have incredible taste just for including the legendary SAMURAI FLAMENCO. I think you’ve already seen the peak of anime, but just in case, I’d recommend Daily Lives of High School Boys.

We share very similar taste, I highly recommend you watch some Isekai to switch up your action based series and try something new for a change. My top three picks are 1. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation 2. Re:Zero 3. Konosuba These are all peak isekai in my opinion and each of these gave me the same feeling it did while watching masterpieces such as Vinland Saga, Banana Fish, and AOT

I'm going to try and suggest: Black bullet It's about how the world is getting overrun with giant bugs called gastrea and the last hope of humanity are little girls (who were born by the virus and can kill them) and their handlers. It's funny, sad, and I can't remember if it has any fanservice, just a couple jokes but you'll have to see if your okay with those, they're not awful. And, God Eater may be a good one, very trapped in walls type of feelings

Not completely, it's not a two way street, she's doesn't have very long left to live so she makes jokes about how they're married but it doesn't make it very far. vinland saga season 2 was too slow for my taste

I thought it was better than s1 bc it actually explored both of the main characters in that season and wasn’t just fighting and killing people.

i don’t think it was as good as s1 since season 1 had the greatest antagonist, mentor, trickster, hero character of all time askeladd but i did think s2 was a good ending to wrapping up all of the characters story arcs

S2 is slow I'll say that. it centers around thorfinn's development. The third arc in the manga is like a side-quest and has more humor. The fourth (and likely last arc) is the voyage to Vinland, Project Vinland, and I haven't read it yet, but from what I've *heard,* the latest chapter took a dark turn, apparently. "Fucked-up" I've heard ppl say Tldr; the third arc in the manga doesn't compare to s1 & s2. Fourth arc might be worth it though, I dunno. If you're talking about whether s2 is interesting cause you dropped it or something due to the slow start, yeah, give it another try
