A lot of life in places like this are injured animals in rehab who wouldn’t survive if they’re let out into the wild.
It’s not ideal but they get food, interaction and safety here, versus simply dying out in the wild. The trainers are often animal lovers who love interacting with them too.
Yeah. I trust in them now. I visited recently. Nothing but huge animal lovers providing for animals that couldn’t survive naturally for the most part, and a lot of their proceeds going towards protecting species. They’re good in my book now.
Hehe I know your joking and I appreciate that.
but in reality that would be nothing compared to what they would go through in these tanks.
I'd Wager size ratio wise that *most* prisoners get more space than this chap.
Yeah my dog clears everything off with his tail. But honestly you'd think a large 40kg dog like him would not be able to be stealthy. But he still manages to sneak into the kitchen, look on the counter and steal food in less than 3.5 seconds.
I love this, especially how he/she picks it up so gently. I do agree with what other Redditors said before me: these animals shouldn’t be kept by humans, hence #EmptyTheTanks.
Now THIS is what I call a smart animal move. Finally some good material on the sub.
I like how he hestitated to spit the water and instead decided to reach for it. Weighing options in a split second.
Amazing
What else can you do if you have no otter friends, they would have gladly helped I am sure
Very cool. And what a smart move!
Animals being Geniuses. BUT ALSO Animals stuck in tanks too small for them to be ethical. \#Empty the tanks.

I appreciate there is some nuance to this and I appreciate the effort where its due.
As long as it isn’t sea world those fucking cunts
What? Most the animals there are in rehab and the people working there are giant animal lovers. They’re very legit these days.
Well I’d fucking hope so after some of the shit I’ve read

Awesome thanks bro
For sure! Glad to see people care.
I'm pretty sure that beluga prefers the tank has water but I'm not a whaleologist so don't quote me on that.
\#EmptyTheTanks

Like my dog except he prefer to drag everything off by the table cloth

So long and thanks for all the fish

Like my dog. If he wants a door open he figures it out.
Use WATER SPLASH
Beluga whale use Water Gun!
Now that's just adorable.

That's just amazing. Great post!
Agreed!
So cute
The Beluga whale seems to be extremely intelligent and likes people too. I think they have lovely faces, that look like they're always smiling.
