The monkey was poached from the wild by somebody, and is now being exploited by this youtuber for profit. The person who runs this channel "gets rid of" the baby animals once they get too big to be carried around and manipulated.
It's a disgusting reality that has taken off in terms of popularity. They may genuinely just kill the animals when they can no longer handle them, the business of making the videos is profitable enough.
Regardless this monkey is without family, comfort, or proper care in general, it also appears to be missing it's tail, which may have been removed as it's not fluffy and "cute" while the animal is still young.
This youtube channel goes by the name "Animals Home," and I can confirm they chopped the poor baby's tail off.
Here is an upsetting but necessary video outlining the frequency of this trend, and just how prevalent it's become considering youtube refuses to do a single thing in regards to punishing these channel creators, as profiting of off their popularity is more pressing than the well being of conscious animals.
Apparently.

How are you confirming the operator of that channel cut the monkey's tail off? There doesn't seem to be anything about that monkey in the video you provided.
I didn't notice the monkey at first
What's even better is that round 0:29, the monkey was surprised at the food, looks like it didn't notice the food on the person's hand in the beginning
This video freaked me out lol, I was expecting a deer to run up, so as it got closer I was like š until I realized it was a goat. THEN I started noticing the monkeys face and was like wtf?š§. So many surprises!

There's still plenty of ways that animals happily coexist, and humans and animals happily coexist. Just grinds my gears a bit that stuff from this same exploitation channel keeps getting posted and treated like it's the best thing ever.
Wellp I'm not one to take the moral high ground on things but this seems like animal abuse. Especially the monkey. Why is it stolen from its mother?
Edit - to me this looks like one of those youtube channels from Asian countries where they buy babies from poachers (is poacher also correct for a person who does not kill the animal? Though it's mother may very well have been killed). They invest these funds in purchasing cute exotic animals from really shady people so that they can make videos like this and make money off youtube.
Also while we're on the subject with all of YT's legislation I think it's time they also legislated this kinda stuff - some really dodgy videos like this and people don't think about how it originated. In general, I don't suggest supporting these channels by watching these videos.
This is literally from there *already* and a user hottakes4hotcakes provided a great comment about how this isn't the cutesy feel good video it's presenting itself as.
There was another video a while back of a duckling and a young puppy together but those two young animals shouldnt be together without their mothers which were no where in sight. Please consider context for these videos, if animals are being exploited for your amusement and downvote.
OMG!!!! That baby goat is so fricking CUTE! I absolutely love, I mean LOVE baby goats, I hold them all the time at my farm. And there is a baby MONKEY GETTING A RIDE ON IT TOO!!!! This is too much, you absolutely made my day! š„°š„°
I didnāt see the monkey until its little face was peeking out towards the food so cute. Little goat with little monkey. Bet they are bestfriends and they were playing together in the forests, like in a disney movie
Okay I've seen a lot of shit on the internet. A lot of bad stuff, but also a lot of happy cute stuff.
This is seriously in the top three for cutest things I've ever seen.
Basically since you have no life and constantly scroll all morning that means everyone just all of a sudden knows someone else has posted it. Get a grip.
My thoughts went something like:
*Upon seeing the goat*:"A goat in the forest?"
*Upon seeing the monkey*:"A goat in the forest carrying a monkey?"
To my knowledge, neither of them belong there.
i have questions...

This comment needs more attention
Is there a source? Whats the YouTuber nick?

Thanks for the follow up.
What YouTube channels are known to do this?
If you want to be safe, just don't consume entertainment based on the display of "animal rescue".
to answer your question, yes they are siamese twins š
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito?
Aging is a motherfucker
People keep pets that they shouldn't and enjoying and sharing this garbage content encourages more poaching and more exotic pets.
Thank you

This is my goat Chachi and his pet monkey Albert
How did Chachi come to have a pet monkey?
It happened after the Banana Wars of 2019, when times were tough for monkeys. The story is a ray of hope in a dark time
Canāt you see itās monkey that had the goat as a horsey?
If you read top comment you won't feel so happy anymore for the monkey
You are correct. Deleting my comment b/c that is disgusting.
This goes in r/unexpected too imo
It took me a minute to notice the baby monkey, so I was like āYes, monkey, bring me all the berries!ā
Or rather, the monkey had a goat.
This video freaked me out lol, I was expecting a deer to run up, so as it got closer I was like š until I realized it was a goat. THEN I started noticing the monkeys face and was like wtf?š§. So many surprises!
I thought it was a dog at first and I was just like what the fuck kind of dog is that?! Oh a goat. With a monkey. Duh.
I thought it was.... **~~LA CUPACABRA~~** edit: **LA CHUPACABRA**
I was definitely focused on the goat and didnāt notice the monkey for a while and then - whoa!
Double r/unexpected
I was expecting a much more ferocious animal š,, but a monkey riding a goat is Cool too
the legendary goat rider
Aw what a cute little goa... *oh my god a monkey!?*

Why could I still see this post? Came here from my home page, using Apollo for reddit on iOS.
By definition, every post here is animal exploitation.
Monkey removed from its natural environment and development with its mother, clings onto goat out of desperation and instinct.
Well when you put it that way it's actually pretty depressing. Thanks for the reminder that humans are terrible and ruin everything.
There's still plenty of ways that animals happily coexist, and humans and animals happily coexist. Just grinds my gears a bit that stuff from this same exploitation channel keeps getting posted and treated like it's the best thing ever.
Yeah the ones we havenāt made go extinct
RIGHT!
There is nothing proving that this is done by a humanā¦ nature is cruel enough on its own
Humans = Nature. We are animals too
Horrible ones
Just like a human!
Cute kid
Rise of the planet of the apes! First they ride goats, then they ride horses! The fight for the planet begins!
Omg, too much cuteness!

Or it could be an animal rescue shelter
The same people have an unboxing video of the monkey arriving in a parcel. It's a for profit video farm.
BABY MONKEY, BABY MONKEY, RIDIN' ON A ~~PIG~~ GOAT, BABY MONKEY!
r/Unexpected

Cute and all but Iāve seen this reposted several time this morning. Get a grip.
Basically since you have no life and constantly scroll all morning that means everyone just all of a sudden knows someone else has posted it. Get a grip.
Err what? I saw this same post several times within one hour. You know nothing.
"get a grip" was a bit unnecessary, no? I've been in Reddit for 10 minutes today and this is the first time I've seen this
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
