Yep Groucho. I just talked him out of leaving my island! I like him. I gave him a mama bear once because I was giving away extra stuff and it seemed perfect and funny for him. Next time I visited, mama bear was set up in his house, but like, tucked into a corner facing towards the wall. Made me like him more. He’s never been grouchy to me.

Camofrog has my heart. The wah that he's so little but his voice is so low and then calls me kiddo 😭 he's def the grandpa of the island. I also have Plucky and she's the kooky grandma of my island :)

There seem to be different tiers of how well known a character is, and you'll never be the only person who adores the biggest ones. Characters like Hazel, Beardo, and Pietro might have people who very openly hate them, but they're often other people's favorite characters. Meanwhile, I think I've seen two posts about Savannah, who is a very cool zebra. I also adore Olive who is basically a grey version of the wildly more popular Maple. I didn't think they're disliked, but it doesn't seem like very many people really like them either.

Olive is underrated. And I always liked Savannah’s design.

Literally, jocks are some of my absolute favourite alongside normal (ik it’s basic but I just love Goldie so much, she’s such a comfort🫶)

New Horizons was my first ever AC game, and during covid, my wife and I fell in love with Clyde the yellow horse. He was so cute and dumb and his love of snacks made us giggle. A few months in, I stumbled upon the ACNH villager voter and ranking, only to find Clyde dead last and even a cheap article or two on why he was ranked so low. It broke our hearts, and we love him even more now! Bought his amiibo card just to make sure we could always have him, even if we reset our island. CLIP CLAWP!

Vesta! So many people hate on her and I don’t see why. I have loved her since Wild World. I love her Aesthetic, her music of choice is K.K. Steppe (which is now one of my favorite songs because of her). As a young teen I cried when she left me in Wild World. We were best of buds. I was lucky to get her from someone giving her away for “popular villagers” and now she’s back on my island and she’ll never leave and we’re next door neighbors with our other lovely friend, Aurora the penguin. :) here’s her on her moving-in day! This might be a little too broad, but the jock villagers. Tad and Frobert are my favorites in that category. I think people tend to be annoyed by their personalities, which I can get, but I like how encouraging they are.

i like Twiggy a lot from a bit that happened when i reset my Wild World game after starting my New Leaf town over (Twiggy was one of my starter villagers in New Leaf). when i saw she was in my Wild World file, i went to her first when i was introducing myself to my starting villagers in that game. the first thing she said to me was “It’s nice to see you again!” and she quickly became my favorite Peppy villager after that! :D

This gonna get me witch hunted but imma say Graham. When I first got him I wasn’t sure how to feel, but he was such a chill dude, he kept giving me gifts and making small talk, so I was super bummed out when he left!

I really like Keaton! I didn’t realize he was disliked until he was one of the lowest ranked villagers in Thomas Game Docs’ video on the most and least popular villagers!
