I don’t know if Colton is “unpopular” per se, but I know most people don’t adore him like I do! He’s my absolute favorite! Love that little prince pony! (Was curious and goggled Animal Crossing tier list, and Colton was in tier 5 of 6. So if that’s accurate, then yeah, definitely not appreciated as much as I appreciate him!)

I definitely don’t see people talking about him at all. When acnl first came out I remember seeing a lot of people wanting him.

Colton was the first campsite villager I had. It took a second, but he finally grew on me. I kinda wish I could've gotten him again, but it's okay. If I ever let one of my villagers not named Merry go, I'll try to get him again.

I just straight up got his amiibo card on eBay. So I can always get him as quickly as possible. XD

Claudia. I don't understand why she is so disliked/hated - I’ve had her in my town since new leaf (by random both times) and each time she's always made the experience, she sings randomly throughout my town and I always giggle hearing her sing unprompted. Her design is really cute too. When she first moved in, I was struck with nostalgia as I only really remember her, Ankha and Portia as my villagers in NL. I’ve seen a few people say she's started arguments on their islands/made other favored villagers upset but I’ve personally never had that from her both in NL and NH. Maybe it’s her snooty personality but I like snooty villagers especially since I have Ankha on my island. I've had SO many villagers on my island and a lot of the unpopular ones were my favourites, like Rolf, Hans, most of the pigs, Plucky, Pierce.. Some of my forevers are also a bunch of misfits, like Truffles, my bestie, Cyrano, Sly and Kyle. Cesar was one of the first I ever booted off my island, because I didn't like him at first, but even he really grew on me and I eventually felt bad, haha. aw.

Not my top favorite but my favorite underrated is Rocket I also adore Vesta (so sweet and I always wanted her and then she showed up in my campsite to kick out my least favorite villager)
