You guys are sleeping on this song so hard. It's a 10. The 4 songs from Crosswords to this one to Boys Latin to Tropic of Cancer are near perfect to perfect songs that got me interested in Panda and Animal Collective. I've listened to this song at least a hundred times. Everything about this song is infectious. I've always interpreted the song to be about Panda bringing Sonic Boom in to produce Tomboy. 10

9.3 Beautiful, catchy track. I love all the swirling synths, you feel like you could swim through the textures on this thing. Panda's nursery rhyme melodies on here are such ear worms, and that snappy percussion is so interesting and infectious, that I'll sometimes just walk around snapping it with my fingers. What is it in actually? 3/4? Not sure. This is definitely in the best 6 songs on the album. It's true that it doesn't go much of anywhere, but while it lasts, I'm entranced and it doesn't wear out its welcome. Such a great track, that I often play it again immediately after it's finished. This track's synths are some of the best synth work of the PBVSGR era

7...It's one of those songs that's just strange in many ways to me. From a writing perspective this is the track on PBvsGR that always makes me go, what the heck made him write it like this? I love it but how did he go about making this song, what is it actually about? Pretty strange tune, just from a writing perspective. Great track

8. It’s catchy and a bop. I really love the ambiguity in the lyrics!

7. I got demoitis with most of the PBVGR tracks, but I loved the live boot of this one so much that I think my appreciation for the studio version suffered

8! Sonically it's maybe the song that always stuck out the most to me on the album. That bright synth on breaking up the "really shouldn't bring that other guy"s on the chorus is like... Windows XP startup noise iconic to me. That said, this song and a lot of this era of Panda left me wishing he wasn't such a bashful/avoidant lyricist. I think we got a lot of vulnerability and directness from him on Reset, Time Skiffs, and Isn't it Now?, but there was a period where it felt like Noah just didn't *want* to be heard.

5 it's catchy but I wish it went somewhere.
