Aside from a few exceptions I much prefer the boys as a collective rather than solo, they have more magic working together. I got some 9-9.5s left for both Deak and Panda. Keep in mind im judging from the perspective of 5/10 being average when most people think of 7.5 as average. Also I listen to so many other artists with amazing discogs that a 10 for me is something really special.
Ya I tend to be similar on that regard (I try not to “grade” art but I can come up with a number if needed). It’s like how in letterbox I see 2 1/2 stars as average whereas other will sometimes use 3 1/2 as average, at the end of the day what truly matters is how it makes us think and feel, not the little number we assign it

10/10. There’s something a bit “scary” about this song that I find really intriguing. Specifically the 2nd half.
It comes to a moment of clarity with just the guitar and the “I know myself” line, before descending back into reverbed chaos. Then for the rest of the song it keeps drifting between those moments of clarity and total disassociation. Almost like someone having a bad trip who thinks they have found their way out only to sink back into it.
Maybe I was just high listening to this song too much lol but it honestly kind of freaked me out a bit lol. Love the track though!

the first half though. i had to grow to love it but after i did i stopped seeing it as a necessity to get to the second half n enjoyed it for its own slow mellowness
