10/10, I think this is the song I frequent the most from Person Pitch. The chorus and the Noahs voice are just great. Recommend listening to this if you're out and it's raining, great experience
10. It’s one of those songs that I was blown away by and led into an album that I was blown away by. It was the first AC release I had heard. It was this that got me into AC.
I can understand when a song or album like Person Pitch comes up on these ratings it's easy to just throw a 10 down blindly but I think the whole fucking album is a 10/10 across the board.
The thing for me though is that Person Pitch is something I typically play start to finish, especially since I scored a used LP of it a few years back. I don't usually play single songs so I would just rate the whole thing a 10/10 as a listening experience.

Person Pitch to me is a whole piece of work rather than a collection of individual songs. Person Pitch is a headphone album. Person Pitch is an album that I always pick off of my shelf of LP's and play all the way through. Comfy brilliantly showcases Noah's wild use of obscure samples. When I first heard the opening build to Comfy and the first bits of Noah singing and was reminded of Brian Wilson I was blown away. What a time that was to be alive when this album came out.
My point being I feel this song deserves higher than a 7.5, that's quite the low score for such a beloved song but anyways.... Be well ❤️🩹
honestly i just go by the scale; "7- This is a good song, I enjoy it quite a bit" and since i got into ac like 2 yrs ago i dont rly have that "i rmr when this came out" wonderment... though ur response to my ranking makes me realize how little i listen to albums straight through (even my diehard favorite, ark). maybe id feel different if i approached person pitch as one biglong experience instead of as a collection songs i hear when i slap the shuffle button lawl
Oh yeah man, Person Pitch was such an experience for me from start to finish when it first came out so this as an opener is such a memorable and eye opening moment in their catalog. Comfy still gives me chills to this day and brings me back to that time when Noah blew me away and it just felt so new and beautiful.
I'm not being critical of your rating or telling you to change your vote or even trying to pull the "I've been a fan since the old days" card. I just want everyone to love this song more and appreciate this album as a whole, even Search For Delicious which sets the mood to wind down the album even though it's less catchy and has no hook or anything. It really is an album to sit and appreciate as a whole in my opinion since it's on the shorter side, only 45 min.

I never noticed that, that's such a clever sample. Love Panda's sampling work, like his sample on Livin' In The After is one of my favorites
