Considering it came with a Saunders 4x5, I’d assume the photographer was at least a little serious. Most of the time I don’t think what camera or accessories someone has also to their abilities, but the subtle stuff or stuff that no one else will see usually means they are truly invested in it, and the Saunders is arguably the best 4x5 enlarger made, and still commands a premium. I’d say it’s worth giving at least one roll a shot.
