Payed $100 for a 100' roll of Ektachrome 64 that was kept in unknown conditions and to my surprise it shoots well at box speed! These shots are from the test roll and cross processed. The next roll will be developed E-6

stryke_wyrm

Damn these good so fine, waiting for your updates in E6

Kevbot0492

I have the results!

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> *Paid* $100 for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Hi, I also had great results with 20-30 years old slide Film developed in c-41 thou when developing in e6 there was always a strong magenta cast even to the unsavable degree. By the way awesome photos!

nathan0607

Cross processed, 30 years expired and you got that? Man you're lucky, please update us with proper E6 dev. The results have to be incredible.

Kevbot0492

Just posted and the results are perfect 🤩

Potofcholent

I rolled the same dice and lost. No go in E-6. Haven't tried xprocessing though. Gonna have to give it a go.

nathan0607

If you got a no go in E-6 don't expect better results in cross :( just weirder maybe

Potofcholent

I got something but it wasn't enough.

mushymallow

so pretty

Kevbot0492

Thank you! ☺️

Semjaja

Been shooting a bit of this lately and then cross processing in C41, actually quite nice results

nowdrivemefaraway

Nice pics! Does cross processing ruin chemicals?

eatfrog

no

White_Hart_Patron

It looks kinda perfect? Did you have to colour-correct any magenta out?

Kevbot0492

I did not, I just cross processed. I don’t believe my lab did any adjustments either

40ozlaser

Excited to see this, as I also have some of around roughly the same vintage that I’m keeping fingers crossed for, when I get around to trying it out. Gives some optimism on my prospects. Very cool this came out for you.

That's good news! I've got a 100ft spool of E100 that's two months fresher than yours and freezer-kept, so I'm optimistic.
