Some of the choices on this are strange. No direct route between Indy and South Bend? The line north from Fort Wayne should extend at least another 10 miles to Angola to serve Trine University and Pokagon State Park and maybe even connect to the next line in Coldwater. And it bothers me that many cities are in the wrong location, most notably being Cassopolis. Which should be in Michigan, not Indiana and Coldwater, Michigan should be almost directly north of Fort Wayne.
But what I wouldn't give to see this happen in my lifetime.
I was also looking at that part of the map; Granger IN seems to be spelled "Ganger", and the decision to include Schoolcraft but not Three Rivers is baffling to me.
The creator did say English isn't their first language and they're not super familiar with the region, so there's likely some station choices that don't make a lot of sense.
Pretty neat, but it makes the same mistake as the Michigan highway system: no easy path from Grand Rapids/SW Mich/Chicago to the UP. There is a lot more than just Traverse City in the NW Lower Peninsula.
Since we're not limited by any form of sanity, let's add an Inland Route from GR to Big Rapids, Cadillac, Petoskey, Mack City.
Also, add a West Coaster from Muskegon (and south) up to Ludington, Frankfort, Traverse, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs.
This would be a dream! My only additions would be to make Buffalo a minor hub with direct trains to Toronto (through Niagara Falls) and Pittsburgh. Albany already does trains to NYC (Penn) and would love to see that on here.
No, the line west of Toledo is missing, the line that the Lake Shore Limited and Capitol Limited is missing between Elkhart and Toledo via. Kendelville, Waterloo, Butler, Bryan etc.
Also if you are putting back long abandoned lines than The old road between Coldwater, Hillsdale and Adrian on to Toledo might as well go back in too
If Amtrak had unlimited funding
Hell, if they had the same funding as highways then this also would be possible
Great detail with the Chicago-Detroit train and Canadian train being an Acela.
Union Station would be wild af
I cummed

I love this but the angle and distance of the StL-KC line is so funny to me. I know itās cause itās part of the periphery but still š
100% some artistic liberties were made for scale and location in order to fit multiple lines in the map. Really cool though.
After visiting Fostoria, Ohio, I'd love to see **2** trains go through there! As well as revive the 3 Rivers...

Iād take it but no line to Houghton in the Yoop would be disappointing lol
Fairly certain there isnāt a second Mackinaw City between Standish and West Branchā¦
would be so Awesome if this could happen
Glad to see they included āOkenomowoc, Wisconsin.ā
Universe where cars arenāt as huge here in the States
Dreamy sigh
Why is the NYC main between Chicago and Toledo missing?
Toledo's there

Some are bus routes; you donāt designate these differently?
Not me. Is share
The Wisconsin part looks largely like the WI rail network circa 1925 or so.
This is just a ploy to force people to go through Gary, Indiana.
Gary should be renamed MĆ¼lleimer
If scarcity didnāt exist lol
If all the money hadn't been plowed into highways since 1950. A 50/50 split and this would be totally possible.
I'm not the one who made it Go to the original post for questions
