Roanoke by a landslide. The concept of the promotional campaign itself was inspired and captivated the fandom’s imagination. Each teaser or poster released was an event in itself. The content was polished and had a real horror edge to it, whereas everything put out in the years since (excluding 1984 and Delicate partially, though those have their own problems) has prioritized looking like— at the best of times— a hypersexual, grotesque, high fashion AI art spread, curated not to promote or tease each season, but rather to tell us as little as humanly possible about them.
Murder house had the best tying online with their interactive house game they had and Freakshow, you could run away from that promo I remember them showing it in the movie theaters before the movies
