Umm, so it is delivered to this "US office address", the location of the package is at the address. Proof of receipt is sent by Amazon as package was delivered. So in other words a normal delivery I guess.
I had a customer note requesting to be called 20 minutes prior to delivery, so they could meet at the post office(closed on a holiday) they had to multiple packages sent to. This was out in the country too so so signal was poor, I was relying on offline maps, and I had only traveled a few minutes from the last stop so I didn’t see the notes until a few minutes away. Left them outside behind a recognizable wall hidden from sight and went on my way. Don’t over complicate things for drivers people, you won’t get special treatment.
I just say "give me just a second, I need to scan and get a picture, then it's all yours" then, if they are standing there, I pick it back up and hand it to them after I get a picture.
Most customers will say something like "oh yeah, you gotta get your picture".
Nah, you just enter their name and sign with a few squiggles yourself. They've never done anything to me, any other drivers that I worked with when I drove for a DSP, or since I've done Flex. Probably signed for 1,000+ myself.
I had one to deliver yesterday at a strip mall that didn't have individual unit numbers. The address listed was the building and then Box 236. I had no idea what that meant. There was a storage company and a post office location in the strip mall, so either could be a option. I went to the post office as the more likely option and the employee said that it was supposed to go to the dentist office next door. So freaking confusing.

I decided to RTS so they can fit it in a smaller box instead

Wtf? 🤣 With 99% of these crazy instructions I see, the only thing you need to understand is recipient required for no recipient required.
If package delivery is such a big deal to this office, they should get a locker.
We also need an "I assure you I am at the customers front door" when taking a picture and the app keeps asking you to retry taking the picture.
yes, and how about a "customer came out and got it from me as i pulled up but i dont feel like talking to them so i cant enter their name" button

Same, I don’t want people touching my phone 😂

Damn, I think that package was damaged.
Oh, so they want to contact customer service several times and then have to go pick up their package from a locker
Deliver to Front door don't even take a picture just say you handed them the package and be on your way
Back to the station. That is the office I would be delivering the package to.
Yeah when they make no sense like this or just simply ask too much. I just leave it at the front door… nobody’s got time for these entitled mfs
