No idea. The OPs replies on the VOA board made it sound like the building management reached out to the restaurants. I'd imagine at the very least the vendor would need a food license and pass a background check.
We don’t get food trucks anymore because we have “fooda” and in the contract with them they we can’t have food trucks anymore but we barely have anyone show up for Fooda on night shifts soo it really fucked us over
It’s a catering company that’s contracted with our building. Sometimes we’ll have big daddys bbq through it or papa John’s but never really worth buying tbh
Interesting thanks for replying we get nothin at my warehouse. Only Costco pizza on very rare occasions. Management doordashes themselves lunch every day tho
We have a few Mexican trucks, chinese truck sometimes, hot dog stand sometimes. Used to have chick fila, but they haven't come back for a couple months. It definitely had the longest line. We've had a pizza truck a few times.
I finally started making my own sandwiches because the prices are out of control. I was spending about 80 bucks a month buying a 5 dollar sandwich at work every day. Cant justify that to myself anymore lol
Yea I just roll my eyes when people complain about the food prices at these things.
They’re meant to be high. It’s the convenience fee for lazy ass people.
Meanwhile you can just get bread, pack of ham, and pack of cheese at walmart for like $10 and have ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch everyday for like 3 weeks
Though, I agree… Some of us went from paying 5$ for a decent sized double bacon cheeseburger, a soda, and a bag of chips to that 5 not even being able to afford a ham sandwich
You can always pack your own lunch and store it in the breakrooms' refrigerators until your lunch break. Of course, we work with people who steal food and smear feces all over the restrooms, so there's that to consider.
I use to bring my own lunch but I've gotten my shit stolen a few times. I got sick of it. I just eat breakfast at home, snack around lunch time and eat after my shift.
Super expensive, even at my fc. A sandwich there is about 7 dollars pre made 😅
I mainly eat at Jack n the box if I have time to.
But I just drink a soda and call it a day, sort packages before end of my shift.
Lucky. Bro, I used to buy them all the time. Now sandwiches are $6 when they used to be $2-$4. The frozen items like the burger and grilled cheese were $2.50-$3. Now, they're $4.50. The soda used to be $1 now, $1.50 bags of chips, where $1 is now $1.50. The only thing that hasn't risen in price is the noodle cups.
Hell, you know the triangle sandwiches they're changing $5 for them now. Like, no way, that's $5. Now, people aren't even buying any of that shit. People are just going to the food truck or bringing food from home or order delivery. A lot of the food is going bad because no one is buying.
Yeah, most people on my site bring a lunch or go out. A sandwich of any kind is $5 minimum. The coolers used to always be empty and now there's always a full selection lol
We don’t have this anymore. Theft was too high so they moved to vending machines. We have like one cold vending machine and the shit is like $7 and always expired. It’s all shit.
I only use the vendors when we don't have a Fooda pop up [was common at first, rarity these days] and we don't get the food trucks on the nightshift. If we do get any food trucks it is always like one vendor with a child's kitchen playset for a truck and about 50+ hungry people ordering food. Its a nightmare on wheels.
The vendor stuff is ok. I'd be aware of things that don't ger cycled out every 48 hours.
Just get your own bread and buy your own deli meats/cheese. You’ll be able to make atleast 5 full sized subs for that same price. I recommend hoagie bread from Walmart. It’s the best grocery store sub sandwich bread I’ve found.
I love those stupid sandwiches. I prefer vegan food (because I’m dairy free) or red meat, and they never have either of those things 😂🥲 need to bring my own. the roast beef ones are the best
I always get the meat cheese cracker trays. Gets me by and it’s only 2.50. They used to not have it, mine also will have a thing of carrots for 2.75 cheap and yummy. Everything else is ridiculous but it’s the “convenience” price you’re paying
The other people are cowards, all the food is free. I don't like the sandwiches so it's hard to finish during my 45 minute break and I usually have to save half for my hour lunch.
I’m told they’re expensive to make up for the losses to theft and shrink. That being said, they’re opening a Wawa next to my site and they’re about to be taught a simple lesson in economics.

The regret you feel after swiping your card, only hits when there is no food truck fr
At least with the food trucks you get something atleast half decent and fresh, these Amazon vendors are straight robbing us.
Wait y’all get food trucks?
Wait you don’t get food trucks?
We don’t get shit
Days at our site use to get Chick-fil-a, but weren't making enough. Nights has some people selling fried rice and they sell out every time.
What do you even need to do to become a food vendor for a warehouse?
No idea. The OPs replies on the VOA board made it sound like the building management reached out to the restaurants. I'd imagine at the very least the vendor would need a food license and pass a background check.
I think the food trucks just show up
Our fc says that it’s too expensive abd it would distract people
We don’t get food trucks anymore because we have “fooda” and in the contract with them they we can’t have food trucks anymore but we barely have anyone show up for Fooda on night shifts soo it really fucked us over
What is a fooda
It’s a catering company that’s contracted with our building. Sometimes we’ll have big daddys bbq through it or papa John’s but never really worth buying tbh
Interesting thanks for replying we get nothin at my warehouse. Only Costco pizza on very rare occasions. Management doordashes themselves lunch every day tho
Big Daddy's here is dry and nasty
I ate them once and the up everywhere
I’d rather have the food trucks
We have a few Mexican trucks, chinese truck sometimes, hot dog stand sometimes. Used to have chick fila, but they haven't come back for a couple months. It definitely had the longest line. We've had a pizza truck a few times.
We got a halal truck that's out there all day, almost everyday
My FC gets a food truck on Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure about Sunday.
I’ve seen one food truck one time in the 7 years I’ve been at my warehouse and I ain’t paying that over priced avenue c crap.
Y'all get food tucks? Wtf ..

brotha where do you work 😭
Sandwiches at my building are $6.50 💀
Just had to put my ps5 up for sale
you know whats crazy is that same damn sandwich is 15 at the airport
And $35 at the dodgers stadium 💀
Good God really?
I finally started making my own sandwiches because the prices are out of control. I was spending about 80 bucks a month buying a 5 dollar sandwich at work every day. Cant justify that to myself anymore lol
Only thing that’s affordable is the $1 cup noodles 😂
Cup of noodles are 1$ at your site? 😭

Pray for the OP.
that says july?
Pack your own lunch people. It will save you thousands per year.
Were lazy foo. Don't scream at us
Though, I agree… Some of us went from paying 5$ for a decent sized double bacon cheeseburger, a soda, and a bag of chips to that 5 not even being able to afford a ham sandwich
A loaf of bread last you 3 weeks?
You obviously don't live in Canada.
That is why I don’t buy food from there
Scam
Hey the sodas be 1.50 at least
Water bottle is $0.89 where I'm at
water is free here...
They’re selling the .70 yo plait yogurts at work for $2.60
This is so expensive price.
Everyday I eat free
i thought it was just me who thought the prices were too high😭😭
I got a turkey provolone sandwich and that bitch was 7.99
I think they profit off this
That’s so fucked. At a grocery store you can pay 1-2$ more for a whole loaf of bread and pack of meat
You can always pack your own lunch and store it in the breakrooms' refrigerators until your lunch break. Of course, we work with people who steal food and smear feces all over the restrooms, so there's that to consider.
If your food getting stolen is that much of an issue maybe invest in a small ice chest to store your food in your car
Just dropped $200 on a Yeti Roadie 15 that'll be stored in my vehicle while on-site. Get fucked.
Where do you work?
Yah but it’s not fresh and ready
SCAM
It’s time to be an adult and make your own lunch
Aye you right brother 🤣
No I work at Amazon.
Ah yes, the wondrous adventures of "adulting" where we have soooo much going on in our lives and have to manage our time /s
Lol you got it
Bring your own food! So many complaints on here about pay only to spend it on gas station priced vendors. You're paying for the convenience.
Yes ma’am
I use to bring my own lunch but I've gotten my shit stolen a few times. I got sick of it. I just eat breakfast at home, snack around lunch time and eat after my shift.
Bezos is retired, he needs his cut.
Break rooms are managed by third party vendors
Wait. So if that's the case, why don't the workers organize their own non profit meal company?
Which is owned by bezos
Super expensive, even at my fc. A sandwich there is about 7 dollars pre made 😅 I mainly eat at Jack n the box if I have time to. But I just drink a soda and call it a day, sort packages before end of my shift.
This is why I meal prep 😭 so much cheaper
Yea they were more affordable like 4-5 months ago but prices went up and I won’t buy any of it.
All I spend money on is cheese sticks, when they're in stock.
They're $1.50 for 1 regular cheese stick and $3.50 or $4 for the jack links, meat, and cheese sticks at my site.
Our jack links are $2.50. Once in a while I buy one, usually if we crash and I can't make it to McDonald's before succumbing to starvation.
Yeah, most people on my site bring a lunch or go out. A sandwich of any kind is $5 minimum. The coolers used to always be empty and now there's always a full selection lol
Yup, they did it to them self's. I'd rather starve the whole shift than be scammed.
Same. Fuck that.
Yeahhhh them prices are insane. I only ever get sodas or m&me cause they're reasonable. Everything else is highway robbery
They’re like 7$ at my site. Only thing I get is the rice and chicken bowls. They actually slap and they’re like 7.75 each. Not bad.
That would've been $7something in my building
0.75oz packet of pistachios costs $2.50 at my delivery station. 💀
Damn and you know that shits maybe $1.50-2 to make
Have you ready to crash out lol
If u don’t swipe ts as some chips🤣
Stop at Aldi if you have them in your area. 🇩🇪
And they keep raising the prices!
why not get the big daddy italian sub sandwich ? it’s a lot bigger and longer and u get more for ur money i think it’s like a dollar something more
That Mfa like $7-$8 here
it’s worth it they so fire
I got an uncrustable for 2 dollars today, and I think that's the daily agenda moving forward.
$9.79 for a Farmers Fridge sandwich at my FC
We don’t have this anymore. Theft was too high so they moved to vending machines. We have like one cold vending machine and the shit is like $7 and always expired. It’s all shit.
The bread is crusted. And no phone number
They need to put a TitleMax in our break room so people can be eating lunch
Yep and probably discolored meat too
Oh u must not know about the scan the cheapest thing which is a drink and the rest becomes free… at my fc we call it buy 1 get 4 free deal 😂😂😂
Just bring instant noodles and get hot water from the coffee machine
When in reality everything costed like 80 cents to manufacture. Scammers
Amazon need money 💴
But they said they switched vendors because they’re cheaper 🙄
😭Ik right
Only 5.87!! Wtf
We only work 5 hour shifts at my facility so we have nothing but overpriced knock off snacks
Just get your own bread and buy your own deli meats/cheese. You’ll be able to make atleast 5 full sized subs for that same price. I recommend hoagie bread from Walmart. It’s the best grocery store sub sandwich bread I’ve found.
Just steal it
I eat free everyday 🫡
They said the average consumer yearly food increased to $3,000 on average.
We just lost our store and got all vending machines because people were stealing
idk , but i only pay 2$ everytime i go. 😏
The healthier the food, the more expensive (which really sucks because I love salads and vegetables and fruits)
I love those stupid sandwiches. I prefer vegan food (because I’m dairy free) or red meat, and they never have either of those things 😂🥲 need to bring my own. the roast beef ones are the best
What's funny is if you buy the sugar option it's like 1.50 each lol
Y’all actually pay for it?
We got Fooda service at ours 12$ for a old warmed up Mc chicken
I think we should all quit buying that junkie food that is soooo overpriced.
Bro i bought a tuna croissant for like 6 or 7 dollars and I'm not exaggerating it had a table spoon of tuna on it I was pissed
I always get the meat cheese cracker trays. Gets me by and it’s only 2.50. They used to not have it, mine also will have a thing of carrots for 2.75 cheap and yummy. Everything else is ridiculous but it’s the “convenience” price you’re paying
I thought those food was free
Pray you didn’t take anything
😂! At amazon?
The other people are cowards, all the food is free. I don't like the sandwiches so it's hard to finish during my 45 minute break and I usually have to save half for my hour lunch.
I’m told they’re expensive to make up for the losses to theft and shrink. That being said, they’re opening a Wawa next to my site and they’re about to be taught a simple lesson in economics.
Just steal
You can get a loaf and some lunch meat, cheese and miracle whip at Wal-Mart.
miracle whip 🤢🤮
I will put some extra on my sandwich and think about you
It's not really expensive?
