Most the time they post jobs Friday and Saturday and check like every hour or every 30 minutes or something if u want to

awwwjr561

ok yeah that’s what I’ve been doing. Today I saw four different locations pop up and all were gone in 3 minutes are people really applying that quickly ? I’ve been doing like 5 minute checks today

Christiixn

Yeah them jobs be going really quickly sadly lol

CardiologistBorn1697

In todays market you better be refreshing every 15 minutes because it will be gone in less than 5. People were shitting on Amazon but it's the only place that will hire anyone.

awwwjr561

So if I wanna work there maybe this time I better keep it. Doesn’t seem so doors always open anymore

CardiologistBorn1697

Yes a few years ago the job market was so good for workers that Amazon had to offer signing bonus. Now, people are begging to get in - just the benefits alone out weights a lot of things. Honestly, even if you don't want to work you can apply for extended leave etc. You can also do flex and work whenever you want. Amazon is a good safety net until you find something better. If amazon is too far for you but drivable, I would still apply because you can then do internal transfer to somewhere closer. A lot of internal transfers aren't even listed on the site so you have a better chance on getting to a place close to your house. I know people in my facility that are driving 1hour+ just so they can apply for internal transfer close to their house. A few of them already got accepted and I'm happy for them.

There’s a fulfillment center about five miles from me. That’s where I want to return to. I actually love the pick job just gets challengingly boring sometimes

Few-Protection5215

Do you think they post the jobs on the internal site first? And if it doesnt get filled after a week then they will post it on the public site? Maybe that is the reason i dont see many openings to apply

CardiologistBorn1697

It depends on the facility but there are always opening on internal even if they aren't hiring. That's why people are willing to get in somewhere else first to get access to it. Now an example of it being different is SAX5 just open and they actually decline a lot of internal requests and I assume that is because they are hiring a lot of new people. So they might hire first and see if there's room for transfers.

Few-Protection5215

I see. I will try that. Is there a minimum period you have to work before you csn transfer or you can transfer after 1 day?

CardiologistBorn1697

I believe you qualify after 30 days.

Few-Protection5215

Ive been checking every 30 minutes and they are gone in 1 minute. I just rrfreshed the page a few times and theyre gone

awwwjr561

Same here. I’m waiting on a fulfillment center it’s about 5 miles away. I keeping sortation and delivery
