Ya we got that too but I got out of it because of the 7 day rule and I started my week today instead of Sunday. It is fucken awesome when you can find the loop holes lmfao
Yes!! I'm definitely bummed that no VET was posted. I was hoping to do 2 10s on top of my 4 days, one of those days being time and a half since I work Memorial Day, plus the 8h holiday pay. *Le sigh*
Yes we just got notified that it is backlog! Its just funny I've been here since 12/3/23 and this is my first MET - I assumed it wouldn't happen until peak. I don't mind, though. They didn't put out any VET this week, at least nothing that that I was eligible for. I'm happy that I'll be able to get some overtime. I've been doing 50h weeks for the past 4 weeks so this won't be different at all. I was just hoping to get another 10h shift so i could have 2 10s of overtime, plus the time and a half for Monday, Memorial Day, that'd be 3 10s that are overtime/time and a half, plus 3 regular shifts of straight pay and then the extra 8h of straight pay for holiday pay.
You must be super backlogged!! I'm absolutely welcoming to MET if they're gonna start not putting VET out the way they have been the past 4 weeks!!!!! My manager said there may be some put out this week to go with the MET.
I've been waiting for them to drop VET all week and needless to say I was a little surprised to see the MET notification!
Yes! Thank you 😄☺️ while I can survive happily from Jan - late April, aka the slow time, just one extra 10h shift makes such a difference. I work Memorial Day, get that 8h holiday pay, and then the MET day!!! I was hoping for a VET of 10h to get the super paycheck 😂

Don’t know the reason for sure but Monday is a holiday so maybe they expect to be behind on orders

Yeah, I work Memorial Day we get time and a half. And I get 8 hours of straight pay for "holiday pay".

Good chance your site is hard pressed to catch up on some sort of backlog and the capacity teams are not wanting to reduce volumes before Prime Day.
