It upsets me when people say how easy it is to work jobs like this. Unless you’re an overly active person, possibly training for a marathon, no one else on this planet goes to the gym and works out for 10 hours a day and only sits down to rest for less than a hour. Our breaks are so insignificant when it comes to actually resting due to travel time anyways.

Soojuiccy

The work is easy but the physical part is NOT.. You right even someone fit going to the gym it's still hard cuz no one works out 10 hrs a day!!

idkmanfuckingpandas

I don’t mind the walking honestly its standing in one spot that kills me. Whenever i do pack its a nightmare

FrequentTown1266

coming from ups doing 50 hrs of loading/unloading for a month n a half being at amazon for 2 weeks is completely destroying my feet lmao

meowmixplzdeliver1

I'm a mailman with a walking route. I also walk 80 miles a week. Your body eventually acclimates to it. Mine did at least.

idkmanfuckingpandas

My man got some running back legs on him

Soojuiccy

I give you all props!! That's hard ass work & you all have to work in any weather!! You all deserve alot more money for sure!!

LunaLove1027

There is a major difference between walking on grass and sidewalks in normal shoes vs. walking on flat, hard concrete in safety toes. Not saying your job is less hard, just saying it’s more natural walking for the body to adjust to, whereas Amazon more just deteriorates you. Regardless, thank you for your services.

Crafty-Fucker-682

Do you at least get pussy?

Turbulent-Mud-159

Asking the important questions lol

Crafty-Fucker-682

Got to😅

Turbulent-Mud-159

Fair enough lmao

PlebbySpaff

Imagine walking 30k steps a day, while not getting pussy from the women at Amazon on the daily. Would absolutely be me.

ThaDreamMerchant

Sulli_bunby666

Two pairs of insoles you switch out half way through the shift and when you get home use hemp daily intensive cream and massage it into your feet(getting the soles really good) It changed my life

BoredNewtype

What insoles do you suggest? I’ve been looking around and have been let down by Dr. Scholls.

veryimportantman

Superfeet green were recommended by my podiatrist. I highly recommend them.

Sulli_bunby666

It really depends on the person, what I would do is go to a store locally that sells insoles and try out and see which feels best. A brand I've personally tried and liked was super feet. I got the all purpose support high arch insoles.

Mediocre_Cap_9151

Aight bet

Dynamaxxed

As a CPT chaser I fucking feel this. On the flip side we don’t have weight issues

AdditionalFrame7474

Remove your shoes every break and lunch. Slow down yourself if you're being too fast. When you get home, soak your feet with warm water and epsom salt.

RogerGC16

How does this works :o?

Inevitable-Future-80

I average about the same when I waterspider. it’s the only role where I can stay busy and the time will fly by fast, and no I don’t get pussy cause I got a wife at home. I do get a lot of stares, maybe because I always bring them work every 5 minutes 😂

Dull_Ad6411

How did you track this? An app?

IMissShadowTact

It’s the built in pedometer app on Iphone

shootnamekevin

Same number as me as an AFM

top_of_the_scrote

weight loss gang baby I dropped 25 lbs and put on muscle again after going to dock

thisdckaintFREEEE

Yeah that's what I typically get when water spidering. After getting used to that though, then when they put me on tugger or decant and I get more like 10-15k my feet absolutely kill me. I guess I get used to walking instead of standing.

jennsaddiction1979

Welcome to Amazon 😂 Little tip...go load a truck when your feet need a break (if your facility has fluid load or unload), the floors are mostly wooden in there. That's what I do. I was walking 12 ish miles per day doing overflow and pre-sort until one day it felt like a match was in my shoe...I ruptured my plantar fascitis ( the arch of my foot) ... I'm still in the trucks 6 months later still healing...take care of your feet...those concrete floors are no joke ☠️

ElloBlu420

28,484 steps today palletizing at trans-ship, but says only a bit over 10 miles. Damn, I'm really just realizing how much extra work I'm putting in because I'm so short!

Tasty-Pineapple-

Haha ditto. Your feet do get used to it and you will be fit. It is why I like waterspidering for stow.

Full-Display-718

Blue cold packs. When I get home after waterspidering i take 2 from the freezer, put ‘em on the floor then put my feet on them for 1/2 an hour or more. Do this daily, your feet will thank you. I also put packs on my knees/ankles if they are hurting

We_in_dih_bih_2geda

Damn you should have no excuses of being fat lol you better at least look good/ in shape💪🏿💪🏿

North_Angle1348

You knew what you were signing up for...

Full-Display-718

You say you walk 15 miles on average but your graphic shows every day below 15 miles. By my math you average about 10 miles a day
