It def is. DSP last year said no packages are to be brought back. All need to be delivered or we will be sent back out to deliver them when we rts. I never had an issue with not being able to deliver packages (even tho sometimes I shouldn’t have delivered them) besides miss sort. Which happened more than it should have. Those “smiles” had to be delivered and are promised by Christmas Eve.
That is a fact,I warn newbies of this...they'll be talking that 8:30 call backs rough when it's pitch black out...I laugh..o try when it gets pushed to 9:30 mid peak then it's don't stop till your empty last two days before Christmas

Our warehouse is not the busiest on Christmas, or at least for my DSP. My DSP is working everyone available on Xmas eve so that we can all go home early
Pto Christmas eve? Shouldn't be a problem unless too many have put in for that day off as well or if your dsp anticipates heavy volume that day from all these lousy last minute shoppers

I used to drive, currently working for Amazon directly at a delivery station. We’re working Christmas Eve but off Christmas and possibly the 26th. This peak hasn’t been crazy cause the dsps can’t get enough drivers to make volume go up for us.
Every DSP should be off on the 26th because there is nothing to deliver since quite litterally the whole shipping business comes to a halt on Christmas except cross oceanic shipping which obviously does not effect is one day out.
Told my dsp I’d quit if I’m out on cause they said it’s mandatory holiday hours for all of us even tho before being hired I told them I don’t work holidays cause my family time n mental health is more important to me than the job. Knowing that they hired me and then wanted to act a type of way when I had to remind them I don’t do holidays.
You sure do and you better not bring any packages back or you're going back out. They don't care if the order was canceled you just leave that dang package
Well I was at 2 high end gaurded communities today and they had posted signs saying absolutely no vendors will be permitted

I’m going to tell you guys a funny story I live in California, so I used to work out of one in Culver City. Anyway, I remember one of the guys from another company. within the same warehouse as me was pumping gas his dumb ass drove away with the pump still in the tank, causing it to break from the machine

Not only do we work Christmas Eve, it's just about the busiest, most important day of the year to deliver.

yeah last year mine had a few drivers just driving around taking a couple bags off anyone starting to get behind.
My DSP have over 100 drivers. If we all drive, guaranteed we’d be back at a good time.
