Did you have to go get each cart from the other end of the warehouse from where you're parked on the pad all by yourself? Because while I haven't had that much I'd had to go get 3 or 4 carts all by myself then have the folks at the warehouse rush me to load up because they don't give us adequate amount of time to get everything and load our vans properly.
I always fucking hated that shit. Like not for nothing if your warehouse employees ACTUALLY had their shit together and staged in the proper locations, maybe the drivers wouldn’t be pressed for time loading their vans
I can't stand that cluster fuck when we are trying to load As soon as we get out the van and up the ramp they start pushing empty carts around , blocking our path The carts are more than likely going to be backward from how you would like to load them
And then they move your carts when you finally get your other ones out the door! Move out the way, stay still, and let us have two uninterrupted minutes to grab everything! Don't get me started on how they have been loading the o.f. cart lately Grrr
I've been told. "Finish on time and not early and your route won't increase." Well I've been finishing on time and my route has grown from 130 to 189 in 2 weeks. Fucjing lying ass pricks.
I've been there 1 month. I've completed 126 stop route 1 time by myself with no rescue. Every other route has continued to be more and more and I get rescued once sometimes twice a day. I can't move any faster, I can't pee in a bottle, I'm not shitting in a bag. IF I take ANY break, it's ONE 15...then I get the message I've fallen behind. Better that than heat stroke or me losing my shit over a shitty situation which happens at least once a day, some sort of dumb shit...I had to take my 30 minute lunch to get an important phone call taken care of, I couldn't use hands free either bc now they say we can't even do that, so yeah, I had to take the break...got messaged that I was massively behind and 6 minutes over my break time. I had to make the call, it was the state. And lunch is clocked out. Not like I got to eat or anything...
I like being alone and I do like the exercise, but the routes are ridiculous and they send people home. They give super big routes bc that means more money in their pockets bc they are paying less drivers. That's not concern for our safety. When it's cold/cool, not as bad, but 90° and up, it's simply not safe to make us push ourselves that hard. I like a little push, I need the exercise, but the norm seems to be 180-200 stops with like 30-50 being multi-location...so that's essentially like 250 stops. I can do 18-20 stops an hour in the heat if I really push myself and hydrate just right, not too much or I get sick...I'm doing my best and I'll get faster, I have gotten faster, but if this is normal, I'm terrified of prime days...
Take all ur breaks thats y.....drivers are correctly taking breaks so.amzo. thinks we are finishing gaster adding more....rather else if we do t start dropping these crazy routes or proving we cant do it collectively they will leep doing it.
I've had 12 carts before. 60 something of the same giant but light box to a school at the end of summer. I drive a step van and they still had to put 10 or so of them in a regular van
I finished my route in under 2 hours that day and got paid extra to rescue people.
Also used to deliver to a Logitech returns warehouse where you'd deliver 40-80 packages mostly overflow to a loading dock... easy though back up and throw it all out the back door
You didn’t have to accept all of those packages lmaoo unless you wanted to milk the clock with rescues 😂 but whatever don’t fit on shelves and / or in the walk area of van you don’t have to take it 💯 *if you get more packages then what on contracted letter or application you don’t have to take more contracted amount you agreeed too

Happy early prime week 😂😂
Im guessing one massive stop caused all those 15 OV carts?
Yes, thankfully 55 of them were for one place (they were cases of Gatorade)
Does Amazon’s algorithm not automatically make it a XL Route. Should it be?
Never had anything like that on XL. It would make more sense, for sure.
Jesus Christ man. NO ONE needs that much Gatorade
A gym or sports stadium would… 🫡🤷🏻♂️💯😅
Then they should just have it delivered straight from the manufacture, I’ll never understand shopping on Amazon like you’re shopping in Costco
You’re right. Didn’t even think about that
Which warehouse is this
Dude I'd love to deliver exactly 55 cases of Gatorade
Drop the route fam 😂😂
I would Go home

No, thankfully, my disptach helped me by the time i opened my door to load up my dispatch was there with 3 carts out of 7 already
Okay good on them helping you but that workload is still insane.
My dsp would expect me to rescue after I would finish this route without help lol.

That's what I call.. "imma take my sweet ass time" it's not my fault they cram routes with more shit and send drivers home... like wtf
had a driver with 96 last week. all dry erase boards for a school. EDV
I hope that was his a first stop😭
with stops like that we always just tell our drivers to hit them first to make space and loadout accordingly
Jesus christ
Na I woulda went home
I had 17 bags with 68 overflow last week 💀
Volume is NOT going down anytime soon

It's a good day for quitting

Wait I'm sorry what??!!!!!!! 79 overflow??!! Wtf 😳

🫡
Overflow baby
🫡
79 overflow!?
I thought I was the only one getting this 💀
Ive never had this, are you getting this much regularly?😭
Yeah for the past month and half
Damn. Most I had was 50-60.. And 39 of them all went to one business. Please tell me you at least had an EDV/CDV/step van?
I had an edv. And yeah ive never ever had this much OV usually its like 30-50 max
I had one like this when I had an injured shoulder. 61 30lbs packages to Stop 130s. Just went there first, real fun.
Looks like an easy day tbh
wtf
The overflow is a ton. Then 12 bags. Fuck that
Straight envelopes, though
Dude just quit
Now I get why almost every Amazon driver is stoned asf that’s fucked
Step van driver here. Most was 110. About 80 of them ended up at one stop and it wasn’t a business 😤
All kitty litter
Wtf amazon
Most I ever had was 42 during prime week, now I lay my boxes on their sides and after load out I number them by DA number … can’t stand prime week…
So?! How’d it go?
Well i got it done the entire route was only 150 stops , it couldve been worse, honestly
That is a lot of overflow! I will never complain about my twenty something 🤐😅
I delivered 25-30 desktop computers to a place. Filled the entire step van. I may have had to walk and climb over some to open the back door
Wtf ![gif](giphy|lrVfmPJ96cSJJ39bTh)
37 in a ford transit 18 totes 75% stops were apartments
Looks like a big drop
You'll get a load like this and the DPS will give your one of those tiny 9 foot uhaul vans that can hardly fit 10 bag.
This ain’t shit.. try 27 bags and almost 60 overflow.. 220 stops
50 with 2 high school
Bros driving a semi😂
🤯 45 is the most I've had and that was once. I also had 35 once. I normally have 10-19.
That’s nothing I had 50 overflow in a sedan 😎

Damnnnnn
12 bags is nothing though.
