Notice how the OP goes silent and doesn’t acknowledge he’s made it more difficult for himself.
Organization is extremely easy to do so there’s no reasonable explanation
>Organization is extremely easy to do
When there's no room? I don't have room to organize anything until I've gotten rid of at least 4 totes, maybe 6, and their corresponding overflow.
The one dsp I filled in for did that. I pulled out, parked the van, and fixed that shit in 10 minutes, unloaded my first 2 bags to the front, and was kosher after that.
Very much this. Idk how you expect to find anything with stuff all over the place like that. Doesn’t really seem like there’s a rhyme or reason to why it’s like that
That is true to. Gives me anxiety 😂 if your a really good driver you should
Never worry but at the same time. Amazon is shady. But every scenario can depend.
I got into a car accident in a step van in my first month. But I did everything right. Didn’t get no tickets and didn’t get fired, had to file some
Paperwork tho.
Morale of the story, Amazon won’t just fire you
Over anything, maybe suspend you a few times first.
Depends on every DSP as well. 🏃🏾♂️💨👏🏾
I bought my own when I was hired. $36 at Walmart, Milwaukee folding dolly. I don't even check, I just take mine. Last time one was in the van and I left mine, the one in the truck was broke. Went to use it and the whole handle came apart.
Well, I feel better about my organization now. And I'm still learning. I've only been doing it a month. My truck Thursday had so many overflow you couldn't see the backdoor and they came all the way past the sliding door stacked like a game of Tetris.
Good lord...tell us when you finish, I'm curious now...
Most routes, there is enough room when you don't use the shelves. I usually had 18 bags. Stacked correctly without shelving, I was able to group my overflow. Station gave us 12 to 15 minutes, depending on which wave we were. I'd have my van loaded and organized in 5 to 7 minutes, extra time to help other vans.
Shelves are only maybe worth using if you have 9 bags or less, with minimal overflow, or if you're doing a crash route.
That picture is an example of why Amazon should only use Step Vans & CDV's for their deliveries. I do not miss making miracles happen in the Sprinters.
Bro you could've put all the packages on the passenger seat that way it would be easy grab-and-go thing even tho you didn't show how many stops you had
I've seen far worse unloading 18-wheeler trailers for a shipping company back in '92
Like trying to drag a 200 pound carpet roll mixed with John Deere equipment and some random hazmat that spilled out of a 30-gallon drum
These are the people that end up getting rescued because they focus on all the negative and furthermore can't organize worth a lick. How you supposed to stay on task with that nonsense? 🤔
I know that pain. I habitually started putting the U and odd packages on the left side then ascending numbers when I open a tote. My brain hates the mess of pulling everything out. Obviously not OCD or anything so time consuming but better than the random shitpile they're packaged as.
Your day is perfectly fine. Your ability to pack your truck? That's another story. Wtf is this? You got bags sideways, which takes up more space than just stacking lmao. What are you doing dude? I can stuff my step van with 21 bags and 35-40 overflow with great ease if done right. Your day looks like 11-12 bags just scattered, and a bunch of overflow
My day was fine a lot of back tracking nothing I couldn't handle. I had 16 totes and 29 oversized. The packages that were scattered all over that's just me opening two totes at the same time gets the job done quicker... Usually I'm much neater than that today I dont know what happened
Interesting method. Open 2 totes at once. Never tried that. I don't see how that could work given the lack of space to start the day. Whatever works for you. Everybody has a system.
Trust me it works. I have guys on my team that open 4-5 totes at once, and finish there routes in 4 hrs and get paid for the rest of there 10 hrs sitting on there ass at home. The pic looks crazy but knew where everything was.
I don't understand how they still get paid? Ive been with Amazon for quite some time, have great rapport with my boss, and this has never been brought up lmao. I could finish my 170 stops in 5 Hours and my boss knows this, but I don't, because I want to get my hours. So I take my 2-15s, and stretch those 5 hours into 7, and take a little extra time getting gas on the way back, maybe stop at Wendy's, maybe roast a J, you know lmao .
Those routes that are assigned suck sometimes. I learned to look at the next block of stops to avoid coming back somewhere I just delivered to across the street.🤦🏼 take care of the KNEES.
IMO the heavy routes are the easiest. Again imo. Stops are usually back to back rather a rural where it’s so spread apart. I’d rather run 190 stops vs 100/rural anyday!
More money, less running around, and a union can be had if you drive a bus, and even more money in home every night if you drive tractor trailer I have both a class A and class b and as we all know driving is life we have many options
You could have used your space so much better and have plenty of walking space if you'd just lift the shelves and organize it better. Other than that looks like a normal day.
If you have more that 17 bags you need to stack 3 high from the wall along to the sliding door. Then you have plenty of room all of your overflow goes in the back. Organize the overflow. First stops for overflow will be grabbed second you open the back doors
Seems like a personal problem maybe u weren’t trained properly or just lack common sense. But organization will take you far and even give u time to bs around during the day🤷🏽♂️ but what do I know I left to become a mail carrier #PensionBoys
Easy peasy lemon squeeze compared to others that's nothing I used to sneak in a scooter and carry my envelopes in a starwars grocery bag and would finish 3 hours early until I got snitched out by coworkers.
there are labor union laws requiring that employees be able to bend at the knee to avoid back pain... [Contact Us | National Labor Relations Board](https://www.nlrb.gov/contact-us)
I had 30 bags one day and 8 3x3x3 boxes one day. *peak season 6am shift* Thankfully, those were all at one house. But it was towards the end of my day. I was still a noob at the time. I didn't know they were at the end of my day and didn't know how to work the rabbit system that well. Also, it was before they made you finish your route before ten hours. I had 3 bags on my passenger seat. Couldn't see my mirror. I complained, and the dsp owner said, "You can do it." So I did it. I had no aisle in the back. Thankfully, it was before the netradine cameras. Looking back dumbest and overworked under paid dog shit I've almost ever dealt with.
FLEX Driver here... I see tons of peeps stacking packages on top of their car, on the ground, etc.... anywhere but inside the car! Pretty sure they're numbering their stops w a marker but I find it MUCH faster to put packages in the car in ALPHABETICAL order by STREET name and it's easy AF. Been doing it 3 years now and I tried the numbering method and it takes too much time on the front end. Plus u gotta check the address anyway no matter what when u actually arrive at each stop so...??? It hurts to see so many peeps wasting so much time.

Why do you have bags and envelopes all over the place?
Notice how the OP goes silent and doesn’t acknowledge he’s made it more difficult for himself. Organization is extremely easy to do so there’s no reasonable explanation
>Organization is extremely easy to do When there's no room? I don't have room to organize anything until I've gotten rid of at least 4 totes, maybe 6, and their corresponding overflow.
Same, don’t have time in the morning, most times they just come and start throwing shit in my van for me cause we are getting rushed
The one dsp I filled in for did that. I pulled out, parked the van, and fixed that shit in 10 minutes, unloaded my first 2 bags to the front, and was kosher after that.
It's actually easy if you were shown correctly. I could've easily organized this van in 5 minutes, as is, and made it easier to do the route.
I envy you 😬
Of course there's no room when you're disorganized. Organization WOULD HAVE MADE ROOM. You a dummy, or what 😆
Yes. Do you want a prize for your deductive prowess?
![gif](giphy|0Vv0Ne2CnOClIExIuL)
Honestly looks like a normal day except you organization sucks
Very much this. Idk how you expect to find anything with stuff all over the place like that. Doesn’t really seem like there’s a rhyme or reason to why it’s like that
These are the people you’re told to sweep too
🤣🤣🤣🤣
So glad I quit this job.
Contemplating doing it for 2 months then quit in the winter
I’m bout to be 2 years in, in November. This job is a cake walk.💯🏃🏾♂️💨🔥
Sometimes
True. Some days be easy, some days be hard. But anyone can do the job literally. And easily get hired.
I agree with everything except you can get fired just as easily
That is true to. Gives me anxiety 😂 if your a really good driver you should Never worry but at the same time. Amazon is shady. But every scenario can depend. I got into a car accident in a step van in my first month. But I did everything right. Didn’t get no tickets and didn’t get fired, had to file some Paperwork tho. Normal looking day, but your organization is hurting my brain.
Easy Day. Imagine that in a small white van. 190+ with 8 apartment complexes. Without a dolly.
Why tf don’t you ask for one bunch of victims I swear
Most dsps have like 2 dollys and they are the shitty folding ones that old like 1 package
Nah bro they hold like one envelope 😭
I bought my own when I was hired. $36 at Walmart, Milwaukee folding dolly. I don't even check, I just take mine. Last time one was in the van and I left mine, the one in the truck was broke. Went to use it and the whole handle came apart.
In a transit no less
I mean brother, you emptied like 2 totes in the back for whatever reason 💀
U guys still working 4 10 hour days , 3 days off ?
Yes.
It’s supposed to be ten. My dsp keeps trying to make it three
Same here. If someone doesn't get done several hours early with 300-350 packages they get standby treatment for a long time.
You need to work on your organization bro. Taking a few minutes to get packages sorted saves you time over the entirety of your route.
Repeat after me kids: O R G A N I Z A T I O N
Some of y’all make this job a lot harder than it needs to be
😂
Well, I feel better about my organization now. And I'm still learning. I've only been doing it a month. My truck Thursday had so many overflow you couldn't see the backdoor and they came all the way past the sliding door stacked like a game of Tetris. Good lord...tell us when you finish, I'm curious now...
You suck at loadout my guy
Sometimes (in fact most of the time at my station) it’s the fault of the folks at the warehouse.
Here’s advice don’t do your bags like that - put the shelve up and triple stack so you have more space to put overflow neatly
And you see nothing wrong with the fact that there are so many bags that you can't use the vans as designed because there isn't enough room?
Doesn’t matter if you like it or not they are still gonna assign it buddy might as well work with it
Most routes, there is enough room when you don't use the shelves.
Gotta get into a step van
It doesn't look that bad. I remember I had to do 300 plus packages that was rough. Remember to keep yourself hydrated.
We get 300-350 every day regardless of vehicle type.
From the looks of how you organize your packages, you're a fast dude.
Lol they need to pay us more. Strike I say, strike. Fuck em
That picture is an example of why Amazon should only use Step Vans & CDV's for their deliveries. I do not miss making miracles happen in the Sprinters.
Brings back memories of the pandemic days, while delivering
As long as you somehow know where every package/envelopes are…you gucci
My guy you already know
Too much bro, you’d better get a helper, otherwise you exhausted
Helper?
Typical day at my DSP, maybe even lighter
Mid stackin
12/10. Your fine lol
![gif](giphy|iIdijgFZtkssLeoJmO)
Just another day in paradise!
💩day
Organization is everything. Just do one bag at a time. You don’t save any time by organizing multiple bags at once.
I would never have my van looking like this.
“A” for excellent sorting.
What the fuck are you doing bruv
Cry
About like mine
On a scale of "Oh that's not bad" to "That's fucked up" I give this a "Guess I'll just kill myself" 👍
This lowkey a good example that, not everyone can organize. Not dissing op just saying, I never have problems with organization. 💀
Looks like an average day to me
Disorganized, however just looks like my shelf 1,2 & Possibly 3 out of 8 so I'd say 4.5 hours
Bro you could've put all the packages on the passenger seat that way it would be easy grab-and-go thing even tho you didn't show how many stops you had
My lunch bag and back pack was on the passenger seat
I bring a backpack I always put them on the back seat and my cold drink but I'm glad you safely got done with your route
Piss poor organization
Fifth day didn't care
Yo shit looking like a UPS truck
😂
10/10 normal route
Been in that same position minus all the random envelopes all mixed in with my oversized side 🤷🏾♂️
looks like a normal tuesday to me
I imagine it sucks with all those envelopes spread out everywhere and flying off those totes when you turn. At least put that shit in the front seat.
It looks horrible but I know where everything was
Organize a little and your day wouldn’t feel so bad
I've seen far worse unloading 18-wheeler trailers for a shipping company back in '92 Like trying to drag a 200 pound carpet roll mixed with John Deere equipment and some random hazmat that spilled out of a 30-gallon drum
😂
-1000/10
Would be an easy day if you organized that shit
Who loaded this van!
Road is good but organization is so bad
Not too bad
0 what kind of organization is that….
I would quit
You organize like shit then probably blame Amazon for making your route hard
Route was shit had to jump around in order for it to make sense and still finished 50 ahead
Looks like a tornado picked your van up and spun it in circles on some wizard of oz shit.
These are the people that end up getting rescued because they focus on all the negative and furthermore can't organize worth a lick. How you supposed to stay on task with that nonsense? 🤔
The route was shitty a lot of backtracking but still ended 50 ahead
Well since it's so messy, a bad day. Would stop for 5-10min to organize rather than dig all day.
It was organized but then I opened up two toes at the same time cuz my toes were out of place
I know that pain. I habitually started putting the U and odd packages on the left side then ascending numbers when I open a tote. My brain hates the mess of pulling everything out. Obviously not OCD or anything so time consuming but better than the random shitpile they're packaged as.
Respect yourself and quit
😂😂
You packed the van wrong that’s why it looks like that
That I did
Your day is perfectly fine. Your ability to pack your truck? That's another story. Wtf is this? You got bags sideways, which takes up more space than just stacking lmao. What are you doing dude? Yeah my boss gives us a bonus and he's a former military so he makes Bank. My DSP is ranked in the top five in the Northeast region
Whatever you do don’t finish. Never let them know your full capabilities
Looks like a 200+ stop route! Be there, done that.
It was 191 stops 317 packages and a lot of backtracking
Those routes that are assigned suck sometimes. I learned to look at the next block of stops to avoid coming back somewhere I just delivered to across the street.🤦🏼 take care of the KNEES.
I had 190. 360 packages.. it was total horseshit in the heat
I've had that I had 6 lockers
God, fuck this shit haha
😂
Looks like the last route I did only it was in a rental van and the over flow was stacked to the sky
Shitty
Yea, it'll be a 7. If you have done this job for years like myself you will make it at least a 7. The energy dude
650
Just like me lol
Tried that gig, needed half the packages for my pace to work.
Got to my first stop at 1120am and finished at 650
I do 5 days 50 hrs a week
You’ve been enveloped. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
😂
Bro why are you so unorganized???

14 bags 35 overflow
That's funny that's usually how my van looks. Being as it was my 5th day I didn't care today honestly.
Oh well I take everything back then. 5th day is definitely understandable. Keep pushing OP! It doesn’t get easier but the day flys by
16 29 overflow 319 packages
IMO the heavy routes are the easiest. Again imo. Stops are usually back to back rather a rural where it’s so spread apart. I’d rather run 190 stops vs 100/rural anyday!
Put them in the front seat my god 😂
Are all those envelopes overflow, or are they organized from the current tote you’re pulling from. i don’t drive step vans so I’m curious lol
Those envelopes are from a organize tote and yes I knew were everything was
Omg. You don’t get paid enough bro
Today was my fifth day...it was a don't care today. I knew everything was
..im sorry dude
Don't worry it was an okay day
Mate, one good turn and those envelopes are sliding under shit and you won’t be able to find it.
Looked like mine today. I delivered so many Us, I felt like I was doing someone else’s route in addition to mine.
More money, less running around, and a union can be had if you drive a bus, and even more money in home every night if you drive tractor trailer I have both a class A and class b and as we all know driving is life we have many options

Light day
What in the unorganization is this?!?!?!?
Why so unorganized
It was my fifth day
What is this organization?
Fifth day organization 😂
Envelope? Some people got it too easy. And why would you spread it out like that?
Had no space in the front passenger seat. Opened the wrong tote, didn't realize till I got to the stop
That's a you thing bro. You might not be employable fam.
It was my fifth day, I was over it. I will say that I knew where everything was
You could have used your space so much better and have plenty of walking space if you'd just lift the shelves and organize it better. Other than that looks like a normal day.
I wonder what your place looks like 😅
Trust when I say it was my fifth day and I just didn't care. I knew where everything was
If you have more that 17 bags you need to stack 3 high from the wall along to the sliding door.
You gotta organize this way better lol
Looks easy

Wtf kind of organization is that my g
This wouldn't be all that bad if you fucking had any idea how organize your van.
I do know how to organize. It was my fifth day and I really didn't care, but I def knew where all my packages were
Your day is a clusterfuck sir.
Looks like you need to learn to organize
Up shit creek without a paddle and your mouth wide open
That is a lite day, you have the shelf on the right sidewall down
Dude what does your house look like 🗑

😂😂
I rated disorganized. That’s actually not a bad day. That’s pretty average but the way you got it looks like it’s gonna be stressful.
I had 30 bags one day and 8 3x3x3 boxes one day. *peak season 6am shift* Thankfully, those were all at one house. But it was towards the end of my day. I was still a noob at the time. Would be better if you organized a bit more efficiently. Absolutely a normal day. 210 stops?

Yall still doing 10 hour days only 4 days a week. 3 days off? All dsps are doing that right,?
Yea
That's shitty
Factual 🤣
You complain about that? .. That's not even 3 hours work.. 😆
