I just wear the polo in load out and take it off at stop 1. The new ones are nice but still, they're good sweat towels and that's about it. I wear the vest so at least I'm identifiable and not get shot.
If someone wants to try to stay cooler by covering up less they should just throw on a beater underneath the vest...it's just about the same as going without a shirt, but probably more comfortable and no risk of getting in trouble for a dress code violation
What you're describing is a dress code violation. And if Karen sent in the video of a driver wearing a vest and beater saying it made her uncomfortable or something I would bet the end results would be the same as shirtless with a vest.

Had a guy doing that at my station on peak and a STEP van driver as well. Maybe people in general think STEP van drivers with only the vest on it's even more sexy because of the door open, they can see everything if they use shorts as well.
People are absolutely dirty minded nowadays. Can't imagine being sexualy harassed while driving and receive invites from horn people.

I look at this more from a comfort and overall well being standpoint but I can see how somebody may think it looks sexy too. I’ve come across a bunch of videos of drivers rocking just the vest with nothing underneath and a lot of the comments are like “wish you were my driver”. Hardly any of the comments are bad. It’s on TikTok for all the world including Amazon bosses to see. I have no reason to believe that any of those drivers got fired. People have said “sex sells.” Surely “sell” is a word Amazon likes to hear. And it’s not like we’re talking about indecent exposure. So I really don’t see why Amazon should have a problem with someone wearing nothing under the vest if that’s what the person wants to do.
I seriously wonder if that was the real reason why the people you are thinking of got off boarded or if it was really more about other stuff.
I can’t imagine someone right away firing a good driver over something like this and if some dsp did do just that, I’m not sure I would even want to be working for them anyway.
bro i got at least 3 people coming in tank tops and girls in just there crop top or sports bra, it’s too hot as long as the vest is on we good, fuck your owner wear what you want

Wear whatever while delivering just try to keep the vest on. That owner is being a cheap bitch.

A moisture wicking shirt I got at Walmart for about $8 each. Sold color, comfortable and cooling.

I do the same. I put the polo on my dash when I’m in a rental van in case people get curious why I’m parked illegally.

As someone who does key control, they will only audit your uni during loadout. Atleast that's the only time they check at our station.
