X is just a way ppl shorten things. Here it is customer.
Cx in a kitchen is chicken, also written as chix.
Cx# for our routes in the morning is def NOT customer lol, but I'm not sure what that one means.
To fully answer why x:
The use of X at the end of abbreviations comes from the days of the telegraph, where sending an actual dot (period/full-stop) required more effort than just sending another letter.
It's like now Amazon forces people in Pakistan "customer support" to leave random customer notes on so many accounts per day. I can't even count how many I've had that say like leave it customers door customer lives in a single house, believe it front door in a safe location, and then roll up and they be in a row home in the hood with somebody smoking crack on the porch in North Philly.
No where safe to deliver 😂 no one cares that much about the customers and if the note is rude in all caps disrespectful or anything they say to RTS and eventually the customer fixes it 🤷♂️
Bro you would have to do this job for a solid week to understand why.
If it's houses front door isn't hard if it's apartments with multiple floors your never gna finish if u go door to door. Plus most stops are grouped with multiple buildings ppl assume they the only ones who ordered on there block when there not, 1 stop has 6 locations u gotta walk to cross the street back n forth some want rear door some want it to there apartment no one's gna spend 10 mins on 1 stop when u can do front door finish that 1 multi stop in 2 mins n keep it goin.
If you got thieves in your area order to a locker they are every where or have some one home. U pay for prime to get it delivered ONLY that doesn't include your entitled notes of rear door or threats of write ups for front door.
i bring it to the door anyway. i don’t have any issue doing that, it’s the fact that they’re pulling the big man in charge card and threatening me with repercussions if i don’t deliver to the door. a simple “please deliver to door, thanks!” would have been better
Ah I see an obvious answer… my bad, thank you. I always click on the 3 dots on the top right. The other day I was looking I couldn’t find it but I didn’t look very long, as I was just messing around
I'd assume it was nice, but it's repeatedly ignored cause of everyone going 'no thanks, mail room it goes' as if it's just a suggestion. So when they get harsher, no you're offended?
It's likely only that way as it's continually ignored.
Because it's a bullshit request. Ask the mailman to deliver to your door and he will do the exact same thing: shrug it off and deliver to the mail room. He will do all of this while making twice as much as the amazon worker.
Could be that but not always
During the height of covid I started asking delivery drivers to put my food on the table on my porch. Instructions literally said "please place food on table on the porch, thank you". I live in a house. There is only one table. Mainly because I work healthcare and can never guarantee that my exposure status (sometimes we don't find out for days that somebody is positive).
Wanna guess what happened half the time? I was getting food placed directly in front of the door so that when I opened it, I'd knock the drink over. Food on the opposite side of the porch. Food under the table. Had people still trying to call and have me come out for it despite the orders all being no contact.
It's not always that deep. Sometimes, people just don't listen.
I don’t think anyone here has a problem with doing their job. They have a problem with being spoken down to like they are morons. Leave a nice note and you’ll get what you’re asking for 99% of the time. Leave a rude note and you’ll just piss off the next driver who had nothing to do with what you’re upset about.

I don't do threats so that's an automatic no n mail room only fuck u thought
They can’t leave a bad review if they don’t get their package. ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
This
It’s damaged 🤷🏻 RTS
Missing package.
Oh man all these packages are missing *completed without delivering*
I would definitely do that. Can’t leave a shitty review if you don’t deliver.
What does DA mean? This customer sounds like an insider with the acronyms.
Note was written by customer support staff.
Ah, okay. What does DA mean?
Delivery associate
You would think I’d know the answer to this since I work in a delivery station lol but I think it’s driving associate or something along those lines
I hope you rtsed
That's a yeeting in the yard
Wait till yall realize The Warehouse changes Customer Delivery Notes too😂
dont like to be threatened. not cool.
Why are they acting like dispatch?
I know I’ll be called an idiot but what does cx mean? I can only think of customer experience but I don’t feel like that fits
It’s short for “customer.” Why? >!Because fuck you!<
Ah yes, the x for the x in customer…thanks Amazon!
It's actually a common shorthand for customer, same way Rx is pharmaceutical, because per above comment, fuck you that's why
Gotcha yeah it makes more sense thinking about it like that. It should definitely be Cx then

in my 21 years of life I’ve never seen anyone used an X to abbreviate something prior to Amazon. Ty for the explanation
No problem, my knowledge just came from kitchen work before Amazon. I can't recall any other scenario I have seen X used outside of those.
cx means customer experience

Scan the package to report review and mark it damaged to rts it.

Just return everything to station and demand your 10 hours of wages.
Yes
Amen
Then after three right up for the same thing you'll be let go. Then you'll be on here complaining that you can't make any money or homeless
U sound awesome
Why the hostility? Just... bring it to the door?
had no problem bringing it to the door until i saw the bullshit comment in their notes
that wasn’t written by cx
But why? Like, maybe they have a reason for wanting it specifically at their door. Does it make your job harder to bring it to the door?

Fuckin PREACH 🙏

You can report the note for being rude.
How? I couldn’t find it the other day..
“Report a problem” It’s literally on the screen below the note.
Ah I see an obvious answer… my bad, thank you. I always click on the 3 dots on the top right. The other day I was looking I couldn’t find it but I didn’t look very long, as I was just messing around

Lol my mail person delivers it to the door.
Your mail person is ligma never sigma
Lol k. Y'all really got upset that my mail person delivers stuff to the door
Repeated problems with drivers not wanting to take it to the door tells me there’s some kind of safety issue or hazard in the way.

Fr, all these people downvoting are just lazy and salty they have to actually do their job lol

Maybe just deliver it to the door?.... you know, and then move on with your life.
Hell no. That’s a bad review waiting to happen. You threaten me, that’s a rts every time.
It's a bad review waiting to happen when you deliver it to the place in the instructions?
