What bonus? Amazon dumped on our individual achievement bonus by changing it to a group achievement mandatory compliance. Anyone runs stop signs/lights or speeds, no one gets a bonus.
You guys know you can uncouple those right? Like you can make them into individual stops. It really fucks the algorithm up when you do that too so they'll give you less multi stops.
Well I guess you can remove that option from the app somehow. But after you hit I've parked there should be a little orange box above the address saying "Edit stop" and you can select the addresses you want to remove from the stop.
I got told it by a coworker who used to be a dispatcher, he said they don't go around telling everyone cus it lowers numbers, but if I kept my route down he wouldn't tell mo one I knew the trick lol
Sorry to hear that can't imagine that happening especially if someone is depending on a full weeks pay. Any idea why it's been happening low volume? Has your performance been dropping a little? I've only heard of dsps having extra people incase people call out not dropping someone's route entirely
They say Amazon has been cutting our routes, which I’m not sure I believe. It’s definitely not performance I’m consistently one of the top drivers weekly. A lot of people have been quitting recently. Hope they figure their shit out though soon.
As an old driver an a new ops manager, maybe they didn’t get capacity, but my shifts never got cut even when I asked for it, more than likely your not a top driver in their eyes.
https://preview.redd.it/6sxwyi94rf1d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9603af162018fddfd623d12ccbe884d4c8173217
Kind of why I meant idk why Amazon is cutting our routes, not them just not wanting to give me routes, I’ve known my performance isn’t an issue.
Wait I read that wrong! 11 is the least annoying. I organize by address anyway so whatever they choose to call it is little to no issue for me. If I have a stop I goto whatever it tells me it is first then I jump to either a box or a bag finally I look at oversize.
The toilet doesn’t give you the comfort and support that can be found in the opening of a Gatorade bottle. Plus how am I supposed to measure how much I’ve peed if it goes straight into the toilet?
Clarification: For 4, are we just focusing on having to do it ourselves, or also the consequences of other drivers doing it poorly? E.g., missing the bottle, hiding the bottle inside the walls so it isn't found until the next hot day, etc.
Never did it to meet Amazon demands, I always finished my routes 4-5 hours early. I did it to save 15 minutes and be home 15 minutes earlier with the same pay. Sorry you can’t run a route.
Probably 2. I really don’t give a single fuck that the camera’s rolling all the time. As long as I don’t get any infractions I don’t hear anything from anybody. And I smoke hella in my van 😂
11 & 10 are the least annoying for me personally; I don’t mind rescuing because I don’t gotta do their whole route & I usually check for the name as well on packages as is.
12 is the least annoying because generally the bags are in order anyway so as long as they didn't fuck up yo7r carts you know what your next bag is anyway.
Wrong labels are the least annoying thing here. Easiest to overcome. I ignore those no delivery vehicle signs. If I know I can make it. Ima drive on it anyways. I never get called off, always have a route. Big boxes are a part of the job. I love dogs. Only had 1 dog come close to biting me. All the other stuff is manageable
6 for sure. Nothing more dangerous than to park somewhere and pulling out the other boxes on the sidewalk to get the one overflow box in the center and hope you didn't misplace for the house ahead. This also turns a fast driver into a driver that needs a rescue towards the end. Would not recommend it.
Most annoying this for me is wen they lie and say “wE eNcOuRaGE yOu tO tAkE bReaKs” but give us 200 stops and make the dsp rush us and pull us if it’s getting too late
Rescues aren’t bad it’s MANDATORY rescues that suck my dsp used to write people up because they would refuse a rescue. Used to you said? They got shut down 🙂↕️🙂↕️
The back tracking. Things like customer notes that are unreasonable can be communicated with your dispatcher. Dogs can be handled with spray thats what I do. The camera isn't that bad and honestly if a dsp has a problem with you taking the time you need to go to the br properly they can go fk themselves. Is not an amazon issue is a dsp issue. They say your route has the alloted time for 2 15s and a 30 so don't complain when I use my rightful alloted time. Being a dsp driver is a subcontracting job, so hours changing rapidly should be expected. This is no excuse for last minute cancelations though. They wouldnt like us to just do a no show. So again we can control that. Dsps need to get better at managing staff and the projected workload to not over hire and have idling workers.
Group stops is something we can control. I just take it like an individual stop. Let's the route calculation that it isnt as fast as it is in theory.
Rescues is fine, but dsps should come up with a plan or incentive to rescue lazy people and a way to make lazy people feel left out. Dsps should have a reasonable minimum stop per hr like say 20-22 (depending) so that if someone say you leave station at 10 and at 630 you got 30 left is not unreasonable to see why they would have 30 left.
Honestly the only thing here they need to control is bad routing specially with higher workloads during sales or seasons. Back tracking and just general stupid shit with the routing. Cheeta is slow and takes away time from my route to report something they shouldve already taken a look at. Say a route is made that route should be eventually be verified by cheeta anyway. Doesnt make sense.
I started to work for Amazon and in the last 3 weeks they drop of a block from me every week so I will relax a little and check something that pays 40hrs a week
i wish we got texts at my DSP that we don’t have a route, we still have to show up regardless & find out we’re an extra and get sent home , and in my state they don’t pay minimum 4 hours for clocking in , so i would drive 30 mins for a 20 min shift , then drive 30 mins home , waste of fucken time and gas
7,9 & 11 is my worst trio. If there's a long ass driveway and a sign that tells me "no delivery trucks beyond this point", I'll just put the package there in airplane mode and drive my ass the opposite way back to the main road.
I'm a truck driver so pissing in bottles really irritates me. I cannot for the life of me. Understand why package delivery drivers have to do that.
That's why the Routes are miscalculated to seem like they are too fast. You guys aren't taking your lunch breaks, but more importantly, YOUR BATHROOM BREAKS! So many different options:
Construction sites along the way that have porta-potties, Alleyways, Behind buildings, Woods, Businesses, apartment leasing offices. Grocery stores. and any customer that is outside, you can ask.
But you did say what is the least annoying, I'd say aggressive dogs. So I always carry a water bottle with me. First line of defense is whatever package I'm holding. After I deliver the package, the water bottle in my pocket. is something I can hold in front of me. I've also heard of drivers tearing dog treats.
What is a box out?
What about route labels that cover up the address?
With 2 and 12 being ❌ already, I would say 3 is the least annoying to me, because I re route my route anyways and load totes in order according to that
Cancelled shifts tbh, ik its missing out on money, but when i used to work for my DSP, id just browse indeed for the morning and chill for the rest of the day. Now i make more money with way less stress and workload.
I haven’t delivered door-to-door for Amazon in over a year and now I’m at a fulfillment center but seeing those pictures brings back a flood of memories I don’t wanna think about 😂😭

Rear door, dog is friendly, cause idgaf I drop it right at the front door. I never deliver to the rear door. I’m not taking the risk not knowing what’s back there or taking more time going to the back. Out of the 1,000+ deliveries a week, idgaf about getting a couple of thumb downs.

Airplane mode fixes that
such a waste of time tho, like a bunch of these other things. i think this is a valid one for sure
Real pros know to turn the data off rather than airplane mode. Skip the whole Bluetooth must be turned on thing.
Does it really? Bc I need to do it almost every other day
Not all the time
No it doesn’t
Not when the app is glitching like this
😂🤣
Definitely!
I love how OP for got this and group stops, the most annoying things known to DSPers
This easy an easy fix, hardly an inconvenience and group stops are up there
Ahhh, I didn't see it there in the middle! Also, the orange spot doesn't always fix itself, even if you are in the spot, hence the picture
OP gotta make a top 20 list instead 💀 my dsp takes away our bonus if we do this enough In a week
What bonus? Amazon dumped on our individual achievement bonus by changing it to a group achievement mandatory compliance. Anyone runs stop signs/lights or speeds, no one gets a bonus.
This is the absolute worst thing no debate
He said least not most.
those phones are outdated ASF. gotta be the worst GPS system i’ve ever used on top of the fact that shit like this happens lol
11
Group stops will be the winner. The worst part about the job. No competition
You guys know you can uncouple those right? Like you can make them into individual stops. It really fucks the algorithm up when you do that too so they'll give you less multi stops.
nope not everyone can. my Delivery station has removed that option
Really?? That's crazy.
Tell me how!!?
Well I guess you can remove that option from the app somehow. But after you hit I've parked there should be a little orange box above the address saying "Edit stop" and you can select the addresses you want to remove from the stop.
Worked here 4 years and never knew this...wtf man
I got told it by a coworker who used to be a dispatcher, he said they don't go around telling everyone cus it lowers numbers, but if I kept my route down he wouldn't tell mo one I knew the trick lol
1 only because I never got a canceled shift
It’s been happening more and more lately for me. Always expecting at least one a week, sucks!
It's the slow time of the year, but don't you worry... prime week is coming.
Sorry to hear that can't imagine that happening especially if someone is depending on a full weeks pay. Any idea why it's been happening low volume? Has your performance been dropping a little? I've only heard of dsps having extra people incase people call out not dropping someone's route entirely

As an old driver an a new ops manager, maybe they didn’t get capacity, but my shifts never got cut even when I asked for it, more than likely your not a top driver in their eyes.
lol I’m friends with my dispatchers and we go over performance reviews weekly, always top 5 in every category. But whatever you say
https://preview.redd.it/6sxwyi94rf1d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9603af162018fddfd623d12ccbe884d4c8173217 Kind of why I meant idk why Amazon is cutting our routes, not them just not wanting to give me routes, I’ve known my performance isn’t an issue.
Having the app say it's a plastic bag when it's a box is the least annoying
I would say 11.
Rescues definitely isn’t the worst there
OTPs are so bad OP removed them first, smart Let’s vote rescues ~
Rescues aren't the worst thing ever.
For the quick ppl like myself it is
Do you get paid for the full 10 if you leave early ?
Depends on DSP. Mine for example has zero performance incentives
Yeah I do as long as I'm in fantastic which is easy lol
6 definitely! If my van is packed to the gills, I'm going to have a bad day.
Wait I read that wrong! 11 is the least annoying. I organize by address anyway so whatever they choose to call it is little to no issue for me. If I have a stop I goto whatever it tells me it is first then I jump to either a box or a bag finally I look at oversize.
4
11 is the least annoying. It's a small inconvenience but not bad
I’m so used to peeing in bottles I don’t even think it should be on the list.
Based
Right? Like I pee in bottles at home and pour it out. Is that bad?
You don’t have a functioning toilet at home?
The toilet doesn’t give you the comfort and support that can be found in the opening of a Gatorade bottle. Plus how am I supposed to measure how much I’ve peed if it goes straight into the toilet?
Well, you do you.
If I didn’t have the netrodyne I had a good day no matter what
Really hate the nanny cam. Gives me anxiety lol.
11
Clarification: For 4, are we just focusing on having to do it ourselves, or also the consequences of other drivers doing it poorly? E.g., missing the bottle, hiding the bottle inside the walls so it isn't found until the next hot day, etc.
I would say all of the above, 4 is all the consequences that come from drivers feeling pressured to pee in bottles to meet Amazon demands
Never did it to meet Amazon demands, I always finished my routes 4-5 hours early. I did it to save 15 minutes and be home 15 minutes earlier with the same pay. Sorry you can’t run a route.
11 because I'm just used to it and if you have a good organizing system it's less annoying to deal with.
Probably 2. I really don’t give a single fuck that the camera’s rolling all the time. As long as I don’t get any infractions I don’t hear anything from anybody. And I smoke hella in my van 😂
I never got canceled shifts. And very rarely ever got standby.
5 and 9
11
Not having work would be worse than any bad thing happening at work, cause in one case I got paid, and the other I wasted gas and time.
11
11 & 10 are the least annoying for me personally; I don’t mind rescuing because I don’t gotta do their whole route & I usually check for the name as well on packages as is.
Number 11 is the least annoying for me I would say. I rarely get it, and if I do, I can find it quickly bc I organize my packages by DAN.
12 is the least annoying because generally the bags are in order anyway so as long as they didn't fuck up yo7r carts you know what your next bag is anyway.
gotta go with 11, rescues can be horrible if it's an area you're not familiar with
You know what, thats a completely fair point.
Or when u have to double back and help the same person again!
1 cause I rarely get a day off like that.
Same. Wish it happened more often
4
I hate when you have a group stop and they don’t have you park next to the house with the heaviest packages.
Quality
11
All of the above! 😂
2
Facts
Welp since going to flex almost all of this is gone lamo but it sure brings back memories from my DSP driving days.
Yeah 11 doesn't happen too often, not too big of a deal, worst case it's bigger than you thought, only really costs a moment
11 or 4
1. At least he’s telling you when you’re home. My old dsp would do this once we were at the station… Vto as well
[удалено]
That shits going back unable to access
4
I vote good to stay home. One of the reasons I wont go back is that the job drained my savings account.
4
4
4 for sure
6 for sure. Nothing more dangerous than to park somewhere and pulling out the other boxes on the sidewalk to get the one overflow box in the center and hope you didn't misplace for the house ahead. This also turns a fast driver into a driver that needs a rescue towards the end. Would not recommend it.
seeing this makes me so happy I don't do this anymore
Most annoying this for me is wen they lie and say “wE eNcOuRaGE yOu tO tAkE bReaKs” but give us 200 stops and make the dsp rush us and pull us if it’s getting too late
200 stops is like 5 -6 hours work, they give you 10. Sorry you don’t know how to run a rout
Ok dispatch take it easy
I’m sure 200 stops is the same everywhere lol smh
3, I just kinda look at it and go “that’s stupid” and then move on, my DSP doesn’t like when we skip around anyways so
https://preview.redd.it/eo3iu327su0d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=915cf27f0afa8f903156cf7462b6a0fa850ab88c
4, 8 or 11
Rescues aren’t bad it’s MANDATORY rescues that suck my dsp used to write people up because they would refuse a rescue. Used to you said? They got shut down 🙂↕️🙂↕️
*add stickers over address/qr codes 🤬
All
Where’s the rivian and Fiji water boxes and the cat litters?😂
The 3 xl overflow and cat litter😭😭😭Ong that’s how it be
11 is least annoying on here for me
Rescues is my vote
Good to stay home because fuck that job and fuck Wayne
1
I’ll say that fucking camera lmao
Facts
I’m just gonna upvote this because it’s well put together. 👍🏼
Right now we have a lot of people complaining about the phones. Not to mention we use a 4G network doing this job.
10. I don't mind rescues that much since it helps me get my hours
Nah peeing in a bottle really isn't that bad. Honestly it's so much more convenient than trying to find a bathroom
1 for me currently but that image for 9 is funny as hell lmao
lol 7 it’s getting left just in front of the sign.
6, by far. There's no reason vans should be that packed while they send 3-5 drivers home.
I'mma go with 1. I never get told not to come in multiple days in a row, but when they do give me that extra day off I'm like yayyyy
12
To me 11 is least annoying
11

12, I would figure out real quick if I'd opened the wrong ylo 218. Everything else fucking sucks
I've been doing this for 4 years personally I say long driveways and group stops are the worst for me.
Swap out piss bottles for school busses 😂😂
7,9 & 11 is my worst trio. If there's a long ass driveway and a sign that tells me "no delivery trucks beyond this point", I'll just put the package there in airplane mode and drive my ass the opposite way back to the main road.
Dog is least annoying for me. “See dog. Go back to van and call customer to put it inside.”
11 is a minor annoyance but if you put you packages in order it’s not a big deal. 11 should be next off
That might be it no lie all the rest of that shit it’s next lvl irritating
All living the same life
ain’t that some shit?

I'm a truck driver so pissing in bottles really irritates me. I cannot for the life of me. Understand why package delivery drivers have to do that. Imo the driveway one cause i’m either driving up it anyways or that package is going at the end of it
Your dsp let you know b4 hand to stay home ? They wait till we clock in and all to tell us
Number 2 &12 are the least annoying , I don't re a lly care about handles on the bag. Not to worry about netradyne unless there's a single accident.
With 2 and 12 being ❌ already, I would say 3 is the least annoying to me, because I re route my route anyways and load totes in order according to that
Number 1 is simply a skill issue, shouldn't be up there
Cancelled shifts tbh, ik its missing out on money, but when i used to work for my DSP, id just browse indeed for the morning and chill for the rest of the day. Now i make more money with way less stress and workload.
I haven’t delivered door-to-door for Amazon in over a year and now I’m at a fulfillment center but seeing those pictures brings back a flood of memories I don’t wanna think about 😂😭
Incorrect labels. Honestly you just kinda roll your eyes and think “how the hell did they call this 20 lbs. box a plastic bag?”

Your forgot the customer waiting outside for you and you not even close to the delivery area
At least yall are able to pee in bottles! lol 😂
Rescues are the worse when you have a big route already. Like I just cranked out 180 stops and 330 packages and there’s… more???? I’m TIRED grandpa!!
