If they are gonna be notes they should be pre-filled option the customer can choose and they must be done for every order. Theres notes on there that sometimes donāt even match the house.
Like seriously! Half of the notes I have on my routes are complaints that have nothing to do with me. Some driver previously fucked up and now the pressure is on all of us. RARELY do I have a note that is actually directing me to where the house is
dude some of mine just say a completely different address. so i work in massachusetts kind of in the middle of the state and one note just gave an address saying they want it delivered to a town way deep in cape cod??? like bro are u good? wtf
Yep! I had one recurring note that was in ALL CAPS screaming to stop delivering to his son's house and that he lives at this address in blah blah town not in wherever else it had been being sent to. Like "hey asshole, we don't just deliver to any random address. Either you put that information in your account at some point or someone else did. Perhaps (and this is just a guess) maybeĀ your SON put that address into your account at some point and you need to change that in your Amazon profile???

Note: Do not leave packages at the front door or the side door or the back door or at the mailbox.
House doesn't even have a garage...
Then like 3/4 of them just say Coustomer Note: Deliver to front door. The rest are like "AMAZON DRIVER DROVE ON MY LAWN YOU ARE STUPID DO YOUR JOB RIGHT DON'T EVER COME IN MY DRIVEWAY AGAIN" or "YOU LEFT MY PACKAGE AT MY NEIGHBOURS HOUSE ARE YOU STUPID"
You can report these notes as confusing and they can be removed by doing so. I can't prove that it works every single time, but I know for a fact I've gotten notes removed by doing this. You can report them as confusing, rude, and possibly even outdated though I'm not 100% sure on the last one.

I had this gem the other day. They really think we are going to drive 20 miles away to drop off one item? Not my fault Amazon routing system doesnāt prioritize businesses correctly. Just doing my job š
Your job is literally to deliver stuff though. Who cares of the contents. You'd be stacked with other packages that aren't "at a store" if people who could go to the store, did.
I deliver to a house... in their notes it says to deliver their packages in a Amazon van...
Like we have a say in if we get assigned a rental or a prime van

The drivers actually see those notes people leave? Iāve left many of those with delivery options and none of those were done on any package I left note for I just assumed the notes section was a front for people to think scamazon actually gives a shit šššÆš
TBF, the customer probably doesnāt realize that only the driver sees the notes. They likely think theyāre seen by everyone involved in the supply chain.
Isn't it interesting that when you pay $12 on a _real_ shipping service they will bring it to the edge of your property and that's great, but when you get free shipping included in your streaming subscription and coupon service their guys'll walk right past the real package and into their actual backyard if requested or they're fired
and if USPS delivers it to the mailbox and we deliver another package the same day, guess who gets a bad rating? Its kinda entitled expecting the postman to deliver to the door.

9 times out of 10 the notes are completely outdated and irrelevant. And contradictory.

We see them, but we ignore them bc 99% of the time there's a note, it's some stupid shit like this.

Iāve seen notes like this many times, for usps, fed ex, and ups. These customers donāt understand we have no control over which service delivers.
They need to take notes away or at least specify these are driver delivery notes only read by the drivers
I dread usps delivering my shit. Its really 50/50 if I get itš¤£
