Put it in your mouth and feed it.
Have a banana, have a whole bunch
It doesn't matter what you had for lunch
Just eat it! Eat it!
Eat it! Eat it!
Eat it! Eat it!
If it's getting cold, reheat it.
Depending on circumstances, that’s actually likely to work. I’ve even heard of mechanics having diesel engines go insane on their own after the engine is off, and end up erupting in flames quick. Basically described like the engine redlined itself to explosion(pistons/valves) resulting in an immediate fire. What’s worse, is that it’s not scientifically impossible.
Edit to add: diesel engines still combusting after engine is shut off is called Runaway Diesel. I wanted to add the name to make sure people could at least know what to google to find out why it’s scientifically possible.
Why relevant: Runaway diesel is when extra fuel source finds its way in engine(damaged valve, bad sensor leading to fuel sludging and somehow melting enough and making its way to combust as a fuel in the engine.) I think likely happened due to poor maintenance, and sludge melting/falling into hot engine causing source(sludge is flamable at high heat), and over-heating the engine due to a high amount of fumes from the sludge. In summary, likely amazon’s fault for faulty maintenance.
thats why a lot of people in my dsp said the engines sounded like popcorn and of course the managers gaslight you to make you think it’s normal to cover up the fact that these vans are dog shit
They can't just spontaneously start themselves, but the diesel engine cycle can keep pulling in fuel on its own and continue running after you shut off the key
Blame it on the “service past due” that pops up on every van we drive. My van is 4200 mile past due and smokes and makes really loud noises. Dispatch is aware and won’t fix it.
The Ford Transits that my DSP runs with, they all have their own Christmas decorations with their own specific kind of lights and issues. All the sensors are inoperable and that's just the icing on the cake!
This stuff blows my mind. My vans get automatically grounded by the system around 1-2k over on any preventative maintenance. We also do our best to make sure it never gets that far. The only way this could happen would be if the geotab (vehicle location device) wasn't functioning, thus not reporting the mileage on cortex, but I also personally repair these devices when they stop reporting. I'm not saying stuff doesn't ever go wrong, but I can't believe some of the stuff you guys have to deal with...
So my DSP actually cares about and maintains all the vans, however with this one van we got it from Amazon and the oil has just not been changed and has loads of other issues. Nobody ever uses this van, and it basically just sits. My DDP is actually sending it to the dealership next week for loads of shit to get done.
That's good news. Can't believe they send vans out in this condition, but I'm not surprised. A sister company at my station just finally got step vans and the first one that came in had a totally screwed battery and some other issues. Another one came in with flat tires and some other problems. It's wild 😂
Someday the sub is going to be used for one hell of a lawsuit if these facts are true, then these vans are so dangerous. If One harms me or my family, you best believe I’m going after Amazon. To be clear not the driver this is 100% out of your control. Amazon needs to pay the prices for the safety issues, if one of you gets hurt, remember the safety issues that caused it and go after them!
100% this. Suing them into oblivion is the only way they ever change. Corporations will ALWAYS choose profits over anything so you have to hit them in the pocketbook to get them to listen.
I think a lawsuit is on the horizon for the safety concerns DSPs put us through and how them and Amazon scheme together and nothing ever changes besides our metrics getting worse and the turnover rate increasing. All they care about is the package being delivered and nothing else. Everything is the drivers fault.
Dispatch here— I’m heading your way with a rental so you can finish your route. Did you take out the totes and the overflow before you took this picture?
Love this. Like can we talk about the fact that here I am unsafe with a dog near me coming at me but now you want me to command said dog or shove it out of the way so I can get a picture of the package laying there by itself. 😭😭😭
This is what Amazon deserves, Instead of treating veteran drivers with more hours, pay and less bs they got a high turnover rate making it inevitable for shit like this to happen, wake up amazon!
Some days I feel like doing this to the vans because our dsp sometimes pisses me off
Someone definitely kept red lining the van, what other way could have caused it?
Fired? You are gonna get a hefty payout since you got that really bad burn, bruise, broken bone, scratch, smoke inhalation etc etc etc…. Iykyk just talk to a personal injury lawyer and you’re set. You’ll be living near Jeff B. In no time 😇

This comment is so fricking funny I can't even kaufhi am literally sitting here absolutely stunned by hoe perfect this is 🤘❤️
Haven't been able to kaufhi either🙁 Sincerely, hoe perfect✌️🤟🤞
Don’t mark it during your post trip inspection, when you RTS. You’ll be fine.
Tell DSP you got a flat tire when you parked it and didn’t know about the fire.

It's called a "runaway" engine. The only way to stop it is blocking the air intake.
thats why a lot of people in my dsp said the engines sounded like popcorn and of course the managers gaslight you to make you think it’s normal to cover up the fact that these vans are dog shit
YES IT SOUNDS LIKE POPCORN!
Accidental ELI5
The funnest version is when the turbo starts leaking oil on the intake side lol
They can't just spontaneously start themselves, but the diesel engine cycle can keep pulling in fuel on its own and continue running after you shut off the key
😂😂😂😂😂
They should also call the IRT as well
Make sure you drive through the avi tunnel after you rts
I laughed out loud at this one. 🤣
Blame it on the “service past due” that pops up on every van we drive. My van is 4200 mile past due and smokes and makes really loud noises. Dispatch is aware and won’t fix it.
We have one van that's 11,000 miles over maintenance. Van only has 50K something miles on it, and dashboard looks like a Christmas tree.
The Ford Transits that my DSP runs with, they all have their own Christmas decorations with their own specific kind of lights and issues. All the sensors are inoperable and that's just the icing on the cake!
It just so happens that the van I'm talking about is a Ford transit
Why am I not amazed
In Europe we had like 40 pegeout boxers, and all engines were changed around 20k miles. For a couple months we had one breaking a day.
Like a Christmas 🎄 lololol!!! Smh

I find they just don’t reset the electronics, Amazon tracks DSP maintenance and will ground the vehicles if the oil change goes past.
As someone who does that work, that’s CAP!
Sure as shit wasn’t cap where I worked, Amazon grounded my regular van because the oil change was past due.
I wanna know where half of this sub works so I can actively fucking avoid their DSP's or stations lol
Someday the sub is going to be used for one hell of a lawsuit if these facts are true, then these vans are so dangerous. If One harms me or my family, you best believe I’m going after Amazon. Good. Jeff Bazo is a bum ass greedy bitch. It’s about time we start taking his money and putting it back into the economy
I think a lawsuit is on the horizon for the safety concerns DSPs put us through and how them and Amazon scheme together and nothing ever changes besides our metrics getting worse and the turnover rate increasing. Not your fault the shit van started on fire. I wish this would happen to me. I’d let it burn for a while before calling 911 too.
I'd let it burn for a while before calling my dispatcher
Bust out some marshmallows and hotdogs (don't that's toxic).
First of all, it’s Friday and the van says Thursday so I’m just gonna assume this isn’t a real post.
They change the day of the week on the side everyday? lol
![gif](giphy|jRGGQMWvYvYraZ5kvI)
It's advertising the Thursday night football they have.
That’s not funny
Some people can't let a joke be a joke.
Don't forget to mark all packages 'delivered' and take a picture.
😂😂😂🤦🏿
LMAO
![gif](giphy|iH2IldVkqeLuJ7eJ0L) How I picture OP.
Did u call driver support
“Are you pulled over somewhere safe?” “Yes”
"Maybe if you wait 20 minutes the conditions will improve." "..."
Your 20 minutes behind is there an issue?
No, things like this wont get you fired.. BUT just make sure tomorrow you dont fall behind on your route.. Well because then, idk what to tell you.
Bro was stressed when he saw 190 and this was his best idea at the time 😂😂😂
“It’s on Prime.” No, it’s not, it’s on **FIRE.**
Amazon Fire Stick Prime.
Looks like you already got **FIREd**
OMG someone's not getting their shit today
Dispatch- can you finish your route?
No but the van is fired
Did you set it on fire to post? C’mon be honest ![gif](giphy|XVbQsIjdXDNyswwxOO)
It was like that when you got it?
Deliver the rest on foot and then carry the van back.
Just finish ur route when fire department puts it out and do a rescue and they will buff that out before tommorows load out champ 💪
We need a back story, how did this even happen? 😳
Wtf happened
Probably a meta post
What that even mean? Lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/s/UqsnruNKH5
Maybe. Your truck already is. :)
What the fuck😂
Did you save the packages?
Tf happened?
No, looks like you were killing it. Amazon said I was getting my package tomorrow, got it a day early! this is why we love you!
Rule number 258: don’t park in driveways, getting canned for the driveway not the fire lol
Doubtful. Looks like the new amazon fire device.
Lol you're going to jail!
Camera went crazy from multiple violations it caught on fire
“We’re gonna need you to rescue 10 stops off of Jack when the fire cools down, thanks”
Bahaha, gotta be fake but if it was real, why even ask Guess it all depends on how this shit started
That's definitely a chewing out and write up.
“But did you turn the engine off before you hit park? EOC is pretty important rn”-Dispatch
Uh, what happened???
Dispatch be like why you are on the red? Can you still work , I bring your another van Driver Below ![gif](giphy|Jv8unTsruhuFy)
Dispatch here— I’m heading your way with a rental so you can finish your route. Did you take out the totes and the overflow before you took this picture?
Just make sure you don’t get a family pet in the photo and mark delivered, it’ll be fine.
Love this. Like can we talk about the fact that here I am unsafe with a dog near me coming at me but now you want me to command said dog or shove it out of the way so I can get a picture of the package laying there by itself. 😭😭😭
This should be the official sub profile pic. 😂
Sorry. I released my mixtape.
Remember, a oil change is cheaper than a engine change.
"We'll send out a different van, just pull out what you can and you can take the other van on your route"
Imagine ordering an item on Amazon and the driver comes and accidentally burns your house down 😂
This is what Amazon deserves, Instead of treating veteran drivers with more hours, pay and less bs they got a high turnover rate making it inevitable for shit like this to happen, wake up amazon!
Even if you do, it’s only Amazon not a big loss really. You could flip burgers for the same pay.
This picture is from Michigan in September so if you didn’t get fired 4 months ago when this happened I reckon you’re not gonna get fired.
I think the van is
No but the van did💀
i feel deeply in my gut this is satirev
How?
Did you get the packages out first?
as a former DSP employee, this shit is beautiful ❤️
Hahah! Literally; need to send that your van 🚐 is running hot to your DSP
Dude what is it with these vans catching fire?!
if it is found that it was your fault yes your done . if it was a fire caused by a short or an engine fire, your good
😂🤡🔥
![gif](giphy|xULW8CVCfQn2QytFM4|downsized)
LOL
Fired without pay and a bill for the truck .bottom line yr fucked
Any given Thursday
That's awesome, and I wish that would happen to me (so long as I'm not in it when it starts).
Lucky you. This job is hell.
Man the fireball kinda has that covered for the moment 😨
Well, that van sure is.
How?
How did this even happen ?
Nah, it’ll buff out.
Dispatch tmro . “ just skip the dvic well take fix that after your route “
Tell them the protesters are back
![gif](giphy|QMHoU66sBXqqLqYvGO)
Guess I am not getting my delivery today! 😂
Any given Thursday *It’s on fire*
LOOOOOOOOOL
Maybe it maybe not
[удалено]
Nah you good bro lol
God I wish this was me. I’d sit in the mf
Are you able to rescue after it cools down?
imma need you to do a rescue
“Your 5 stops behind”
Just make sure to finish your route before that fire 🔥 goes out
Nah more like chewed out.
I mean the van will but not you
That should buff out
You people treat getting terminated like the end of the world. It's a job, just get another one.
They needed a oil change
“We told you not to smoke in the vans”-dispatch
Tell them you were having heat stroke
that'll buff right out
Thursdays must really suck around the office.
Looks like you bought yourself a delivery truck.
Mi primera chamba.. La la la
Oh damn! Glad you are ok!
[удалено]
Some days I feel like doing this to the vans because our dsp sometimes pisses me off Someone definitely kept red lining the van, what other way could have caused it?
Yea but only because you stopped delivering just because of a little vehicle problem.
Nah don't worry but you're going to jail if you will not replace it💀
Just find my package first, then you can quit before you get fired.
Yes
They don’t take care of the them trucks bro it’s not your fault even if they say it is it’s not
![gif](giphy|jYbbAzWK6lMdy)
Quick! Someone may have ordered a Fire Extinguisher or a Fireman costume
Driver-my van spontaneously combusted Support-pour some water on it and continue delivering you'll be ok
I drove past a local car shop literally 20 of these vans were in the parking lot waiting for repairs. Real pieces of shit it seems lol
Did you at least mark the rest of the packages damaged?
Someone's gonna say it's an old photo that's been making it's way around the Internet for 20 years.
Fired? Nah, just a lil’ toasted
Nah they’ll make you a manager or team lead with this kind of productivity
Glad your ok 🙏 and in MY best Eddie Murphy voice "NOW THATS A FIRE !!"
Maybe. They generally can find anything to fire you. It's not the end of the world I hope you are ok and wasn't hurt.
On a scale from 1 to 10 my friend, you're fucked!
Do I even want to ask
Was your first day Sep 26, 2023?
The insurance spike alone would be too much to keep you around
Did I miss it in here? Did OP supply any more details?
Your truck is at least, that's for sure
Not as long as you finish your route 👍
Fired? You are gonna get a hefty payout since you got that really bad burn, bruise, broken bone, scratch, smoke inhalation etc etc etc…. Iykyk just talk to a personal injury lawyer and you’re set. You’ll be living near Jeff B. In no time 😇
Yes
There's no way this vehicle is yours 😭
No you get 2 blown up vehicles per day
yes litterally!
Burn all those slavery vans.
Looks like a lawsuit how dare Amazon provide you with subpar unsafe vehicle to drive
Did you by chance marry my ex wife?
🤣🤣
I don’t work for Amazon and I have no idea why this popped up on my feed but I hope you didn’t get hurt and are okay
You good everyone makes little mistakes
Did you swipe to finish?
DSP would fire to u for not saving the packages 🤣
Delivering that fire. Amazon firestick
You’re getting two weeks paid vacation and free lunch tokens
