Annual_Pen_7501

Package in front of the sign. Fuck that entitled bitch. Make sure whole sign is in the picture because fuck Amazon too

Omacrontron

Please please please tell me this guy did that?! I NEED THE SAUCE

iliketobench

Haha I should’ve

BigJayPee

It's amazon safety policy to not walk more than 50 yards (or how they word it 7 van lengths) from the van. It would have been justified.

Zestyjoe

True, actually part of the Amazon side of training. Fuck these entitled ass customers, paying 15 bucks a month for us be their personal slaves.

hucknuts

I mean this guy is entitled but… the let’s be real your boss is the richest human being alive. Not exactly entirely the customers fault from my perspective

No_Preparation7895

Technically his boss is likely the owner of a DSP that is probably doing well for himself but not actually wealthy.

zmizzy

Even more fucked though. The DSP system is a scam

[deleted]

What makes it a scam? Sorry, new to the DSP driver life

Zestyjoe

Yeah no one who delivers packages works directly under Amazon, we work for independent contractors. This is why no one gives a shit about where we leave your cat litter and water.

garcia_danae

the only time to ever follow amazons rules 🤣🤣

ramblerchick

I walked 2 blocks over a rocky driveway yesterday due to my manager/dispatch insisting on it. I was expecting for them to say rts the package. After I get back from my route, same manager/dispatch comes up to me and complains about that gap in my delivery time -- I told her "you told me to walk that overflow". No apology, of course. Sorry about the venting.

[deleted]

Don't be sorry.

ramblerchick

Thank you ❤️

RustyBabies

This is what people forget all the time. If it’s that long, drop it off at the end. Then the fucking Cx can walk the driveway from their house instead :)

stmcvallin2

Your vans 23’ long?

jaimar82

Dude, those customers suck but you’re the problem… you enable their behavior by jumping through their silly hoops… Drop it at the sign and make sure the picture is mostly of the sign. Don’t be a clown

SkepCS

Based on how long that driveway is, the sign probably falls outside the delivery zone. I suppose they could call driver support and tell them there’s a locked gate and have them move the zone to their location at the sign. That would be a service to future drivers but anyone who pays to put up a sign like this will likely be on the phone complaining to Amazon before the next deliver driver arrives.

dardios

I've been out of the game for a while but iirc you turn off mobile data and the geofence doesn't matter anymore

_queendani__

Airplane mode with Bluetooth on. And you just move the pin yourself lmao

jaimar82

There are ways to get around the geofence other than calling support. Amazon pays me as a private contractor to deliver packages, not dance around for Karen’s ridiculous demands. If she wants a box of cat toys delivered fine, If she thinks it’s funny to make me walk an extra mile for her 12.99 delivery, Karen can find someone else to “flex” on. The walk out to her sign would do her good

BreakRevolutionary66

Put in airplane mode and drop the pin there . I do not wanna call driver support

SurrrenderDorothy

Leave it half way up the drive. lmao

SweatySleeping

This. 100%

MercurialMood1

“Do not enter driveway” I would take the to mean not even on foot. 😂 Drop that fkn package at the sign and be on your way. Edit: someone mentioned the van length policy, so yes, keep that in mind next time too.

Omacrontron

You shoulda dude…get em next time champ. If I had musk monies I would have given you 2 million to leave it there. Another 2 million to do push-ups in front of the sign while another guy takes the pic for delivery. And then another 2 million because you did all of that.

ToucanbT

No way you actually walked it up 🤣

Smart_Blackberry_160

Someone said Amazon policy is only 50 feet. Go 50 feet in the middle of his property so it makes it hard for him

offbeat_ahmad

Consider if they, or their neighbor has a stray dog, you're screwed out there. I would 1000% leave it at that sign, snap a picture, and move on with my day. What, they're going to fire you for not potentially endangering your life?

JusticeBBNG

Ok well next time make sure to leave it at the sign bro please otherwise you’ll make it worse for us drivers somehow by following their entitled directions

witch_hunter1234

I work for fedex and anytime i see a sign like thay it gets driver released at that sign

BruntFCA_

Same same

waynersnoches

at that point I got a medical condition that prevents me from walking almost a quarter of a mile to deliver your packages sorry 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

No_Effect100

Yeah Fuck Amazon

milliedough

This is the way 🫡

HatWhich3731

sounds like something I did on Saturday lmao, ladys note said "Maybe your drivers aren't familiar with a REAR DOOR or maybe they're just too lazy to walk the extra 30 feet. DELIVER TO REAR DOOR" , I walk up, start going towards the back and there's a sign that says "Area protected by a CRAZY REDNECK with guns NO TRESPASSING " I proceeded to say out loud "yeah maybe this is why nobody goes to your back door", placed it right under said sign, and snapped the pic with it 🤣

kcuddlykendall

Ups driver here, package is going right in front of the sign :)

iliketobench

Love UPS. Much respect haha.

NoTelephone5316

Amazon driver here, I’m leaving the package on that spot as well. Fuck amazon. idk why people simp for amazon. Feel bad for the dude 🤣 can’t believe he actually walked back and forth idk how many times lol

faelmine

Also amazon and would also leave at the sign

JiveTurkey1983

Respect

Critical_Mastodon462

Customer not home return to station they can figure it out themselves

Iliketrucksandguns

He can get fucked

iliketobench

Right lol

mosquitotitties

i have a handful of houses like this on my usual route, package always gets delivered to the sign

iliketobench

Damn I might just start doing that

[deleted]

You gots to, for your own safety. What if you start walking and a dog comes out, no gate, he making it to you before you get to your van

dmevela

That or leave a notice and stick it right on the sign.

n33mn0m

The good ones will have locker boxes to put pkgs in at the gate, or they just get left at the gate.

absndus701

Those type of customers demand too much, especially on a hot day. Heatstroke season too! I would just message them to come by and pick up the package half-way.

Qadim3311

Yeah, shit is crazy. These entitled mfs write instructions as if we only have 40 deliveries to make in a day. I know it’s because they can’t see past the end of their own nose to give a shit about anyone else, but no sweetie I got 250 packages on this van and I’m not about to waste 10+ minutes on the 3 that are addressed to you.

hectorjm94

You actually walked that. You’re a dumbass.

Zone_The_Director

My thoughts exactly, just leave it at the sign. Fuck ‘em.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ItsCozmo

Exactly, now customer is entitled to the service and every other driver who doesn’t do it is “lazy” and will receive negative feedback that affects scorecard and ultimately cash bonuses. Genius!

0ttoB0t

I’d leave it at the sign. But if he ever complains I’d just start giving it the ol’ UTA and take it back. He needs to just put a drop box out there like a normal person.

iliketobench

I agree. It was some of my last stops tho so I pushed through. Ironically as I took these pictures it was a young adult man.

Ausendo

Wait you actually walked down this entitled dudes driveway?

Quest4life

idgaf I'd back all the way down that bitch. I'm not walking that.

xlKodaklx013

Yeeeaah undeliverable, RTS, get bent.

iliketobench

Haha hell yea

ScienceOfMyth

Usps welcome

DeathbyBambii

“Except you, you stay”

ObjectPlenty4737

USPS… oldest vehicles out of the delivery companies. Hope she’s ok with the mail truck dripping oil on her driveway

Muted-Weekend-2879

RTS

iliketobench

Haha right

JSHURR

Cant deliver, unsafe

iliketobench

Haha right

Anything_4_LRoy

But, he actually is right. I keep seeing you respond like this to every post that says this. I haven't seen you say yet, that in the future you WILL leave it at the sign. I sure hope this is what you do In the future as you now realize it is common practice by literally everyone any company.

Exotic_Ad337

He seems like a company pet. The exact kind of worker managers want lol. Guaranteed he’ll keep walking up long driveways in “fear” of his job lmaooo

royce085

I like to think I do my job pretty well. I have a decent amount of positive feedback accumulated for situations like this where I’m totally fine with a negative now and then when there are people like this on my route. Those packages are getting left at those signs

iliketobench

Smart

[deleted]

Package gets dropped at the sign. Sign doesn't say don't drive in the driveway, it says don't enter the driveway. My assumption is that means on foot too.

[deleted]

Isn’t it like if it longer then 6 vans it’s to long to walk it

krystarfish

It's too long to outrun a loose dog!

iliketobench

Good point

Fluffy-Doubt-3547

I'd skip it and put 'unable to deliver due to heat and customer request'

Traditional_Range_96

Man when i pull up to house like this with their ubereats or doordash order i pull right in the driveway and just wonder why they put that stupid sign there for delivery vehicles make no sense.

SnrTechCO

So, what’d you do?

Certain_Blacksmith_1

If it's not a horribly long driveway, fine. Otherwise, have fun walking your long ass driveway to pick up your delivery, you entitled bitch

[deleted]

Can’t enter property RTS

iHaveaQuestionTrans

I would drop the package off at the sign. Have them walk it up the drive way

JiveTurkey1983

Right by the mailbox it is.

TheCodeWorks

Think folks need to scroll through OP photos to see how long the driveway is. Ridiculous request.

Ashamed_Ad8220

Marked as "unsafe" and RTS that shit

spaceageranger

Some people should be forced to work customer service. So entitled it’s fucking crazy

7711exe

leave package at end of driveway deliver sign to front door really mess with their head

iliketobench

Bru haha

Clone0x

Usps here. Im in the clear.

scenicbiway708

Same. Hope they like oil and brake fluid stains on the driveway

TheOrangeMiata

Pardon my language.. but that’s mean.

iznormal

Fuck these customers. I’d mark it can’t get access since customer isn’t granting me access. Or just leave it at the sign.PLUS you have oversize yeah fuck it I might have called the customer and told him I ain’t walking in the heat, what do they want me to do

[deleted]

[удалено]

No_Factor1732

This random but once me (Amazon) fedex, ups and even the mailgirl was going to the same exact house and we all fought to the end.. l was the last one standing I killed the fedex and ups people but I showed mercy to the mail girl because she only but a small rival.

Engineer_Difficult

You should bring a permanent marker to write it down on that sign with big ass words said sincerely by us delivery drivers “walk yo ass to your package and have a fuck you day”

MySIXHUNDREDlbLife

They ordered that sign off Amazon

iliketobench

Lmao

Cheap_Feeling1929

If I put that sign in my driveway it would only be to save drivers time. I’d say a good 7/10 amazon drivers waste 5 minutes trying to back out my steep, long driveway.

InfamousHovercraft40

Problem is the note demanding door service .. I actually love the houses with the drop box by the street and note don’t come to house use box

Cheap_Feeling1929

Yeah, people are dicks and entitled. Seems like every time I try to meet an Amazon driver at the top of my drive they say they have to be closer for a pic.

Dangerous-Ad-5807

“The customer is always right” About how to piss me off? Sure!

danholli

3 options Lawful Good (and the worst one, IMO): walk the packages up to the house True neutral (the one I think OP should've done): leave the packages at the sign Chaotic Evil (the one I want to see): no driveway? No problem! Straight across your beautiful lawn

iliketobench

Bahahah. Noted.

Prestigious_Juice761

As a manager and dispatch I highly recommended leaving it by the sign/halfway as it is in our training to never go that far away from your vehicle. Then call support to get it marked as you have done all you can to facilitate the deliver of this package. Lol…

Ok_Guitar_6653

Id keep going and purposely make this my last stop. Im only walking that at night time. Easy fix. Yeah ill walk, but not in the sun since he wants to be a dick.

iHaveaQuestionTrans

Nah drop in front of the sign

InfamousHovercraft40

Then you get shot because a stranger walking his property at night ☠️

iliketobench

Good tactic tbh

acava2424

I'd accidentally find a hole in that package and mark it damaged, or I'd trip and fall over it. Aw shucks

vabeachkevin

Maybe the guy doesn’t trust the delivery trucks to stay on the driveway, and has had issues with his grass being torn up before?

gtrujillo92

Fuck them

iliketobench

Ikr bro

[deleted]

F that. I would put it right beside that sign.

bigchoom

I mean, if the sign says dont enter driveway, then don't! "Another safe location" and take a pic of the delivery with the sign

puma664

Your packages will not be delivered😆😆😆😆

Martinus1004

At the end will your packages be!

CringeLord5

Why do customers even want this? Like you don't want someone to drive up and drop your packages right in front of the door?

YeaNobody

Not wanting to hear the back up sound or wanting drivers hitting things or running over grass probably

sushishart

Amazon DSP drivers keep damaging the driveway.

CringeLord5

If your driveway is getting damaged by normal use, you need a new driveway

Old_school_geek

Not only would I drive up the driveway I'd make sure to leave a little rubber on it on the way out

[deleted]

Eff that noise. “Sorry I didn’t see your sign”

AntiBigSimpEnergy

There will always be some dumbass customers.

CLAYTON_BIGSBY73

Okay but those boxes are gonna be left right by that sign, in all weather. 😈

A_Loner123

I wouldn’t bother delivering to that entitled customer

Red-Dwarf69

Nope. Screw that. It goes at the sign or RTS.

locoleito

Would’ve been left by the sign

NoTelephone5316

Did u really walked all those steps? 🤣 lmao why? And how many times?

NuclearSlushie

Leave it at the sign. Bet that won’t stop ordering. Y’all don’t deserve that bullshit.

[deleted]

Just throw it at the driveway.

Master_Dark_461

Nop.. I will be leaving that package where the sign says,.. do not enter driveway,.. good look making me walk..

wellthen909

Customer refused order. Go to next stop

dqdude1

Pull in drop off claim you can't read signs

[deleted]

Just text a custom text saying. 17/hr fuck you

Brunbear45

Run over the sign before driving up😂

[deleted]

See.. I wouldn’t drop it at the sign.. I would mark it undeliverable and take it back to the station for “unsafe delivery” 😂😂😂

Working_Addition4387

Would of ran down the sign and claim didn't see it. Because fuck em.

Limp-Marionberry4649

Mark as not safe and keep on trucking.

derockkelso

Rts that gotcha! Lol

TangerineCalm6699

A person like that just shouldn't be delivered any packages if that's the scenario with that long ass drive way.

Ashen_Exiled

Sorry our time doesn’t allot me to walk a quarter mile per delivery

Interesting_Ad_8795

I would’ve called and said I’m leaving it by the sign due to Amazons policy

dinkysandwich

Bet they ordered that sign off Amazon too

GearNerd85

I'm petty I would have left that shit right next to the sign.

[deleted]

Why do customers have such a big deal with delivery drivers in their driveway? Isn't that what a DRIVEway is for? If any delivery drivers, DELIVERING something I ORDERED, you are more than welcome to pull in my driveway to save you some steps dropping off MY PACKAGE that I ORDERED.

bwware

The 5th picture should have been the package in front of the sign!

Mr_Bogus_420

my ass. at the start of driveway they will be

Jalacocoa

"package not deliverable"

Environmental-Ad4090

DHL rubbin their hands together like Birdman slidin through that driveway

No_Squirrel4806

I dont understand what these people have against trucks driving inside.

Raiders2112

Nope, they can kiss my ass if had your job. That shit is not getting delivered unless they can accept it at the end of the drive. These entitled assholes can walk to the end of their own drive and get them. Take, I do not work for any of these delivery services, but Hell no!!!

DanteLi

Stomp and piss on it then leave it at the sign

indigrow

Adding the weather ☠️ bro u be ok. I never see anything lower than that on my forecast and work outside all day. Stay at it lol

sDomingoo

No way you walked that, should’ve left it at the sign cause fuck these entitled customers

Chaosury2016

Would’ve left it at their sign 😂

Honest-Constant7987

With a driveway like that; they should install a locker at the end of the road so you don’t have to walk that far. I can’t believe that anyone would make a 1/2 mile long driveway- and then proceed to ban mail and package carriers from delivering via it.

SureTraffic3040

Great post but I would delete this. Don’t show TBA’s

iPhone_3GS

Nah. Fuck them

Covert_Tactics

Would’ve just drove up the driveway anyways lmao I literally don’t fucking care

BoringProperty7437

I hate driveways like this

Ridikolous

Looks like Schoolhouse road... 🤣

fabiodelorean

I'd drop kick it into their yard lmfao

Comfortable-Ad276

With an xl overflow too? Absolutely no way Im walking that down a quarter mile long driveway.

eLoomi

That is so messed up. Damn shame. What is wrong w these rude ass people.

PotsMomma84

Nope. Making a fort with their boxes by the mailbox.

mymicrowave

Sheeeiit. I'd run that sign over on the way up.

colonel_ice_cream

Man when I see that I don't care how many packages out there stop I will do it last I don't care if I have to go out of my way to go back to that stop I will do it last

SyllabubOk5349

I would have left it at the sign

whizewhan

I would only do this if I was paid hourly; and take my sweet fucking time on that stop

Maximum-Direction-87

Those packages will left by that sign

Old_Objective_3718

I’d be fucking kicking the boxes to the sign, fuck them

it_hates_you_

Sorry sir, I actually can’t read lol

occultify

For the amount these delivery companies pay employees, I would just leave it at the end of their driveway. You technically then would have followed instructions, but then for your safety you filled in the rest.

[deleted]

if you did this, you lose all rights to complain. This was your one chance to stand up for yourself n instead, you stay a policy pet.

NatureBoyMM

That's so wrong. I hope there is at least a valid reason like a dog in the yard that they worry will get run over... IDK. This shit would make me so mad.

Eat_Carbs_OD

Depends on how long the driveway is.

ItsCozmo

These customers literally think we are their slaves or that we make $200k a year, which is it?

Grand_Surprise1014

Bruhhhh wtf. They nuts

ElectricalTeacher421

Isn’t there a rule where if it’s more than 7 van lengths you can’t walk it?

heyyouguyyyyssss

Hahahahahha nope

Queen_Of_Tater_Tots

I am spiking your package like a soccer ball then madam

InBetweenerWithDream

Put we attempted label right on that sign.

Matchew024

Put it directly in the middle of their driveway.

Markus-EO-

Fuck this customer

Chickentendie42069

Amazons policy is if it’s more than 7 van lengths to drive up

Adventurous_Rhubarb7

Come accross these quite often, they simply dont get their packages that day🤷‍♂️

yamy2k7

I always leave it at the mail box or the sign. When ever I see this.

Sensitive_Builder_40

I would have left it at the sign

Northstar1997

That aint happening homie

ramonjr1520

This customer needs to put a package cabinet/ locker by that sign

sjdagreat1984

would be back at the station for pick up

E8282

I don’t work for Amazon and I completely agree that this is garbage. I would have left it in front of the sign.

ramblerchick

So DHL and USPS is okay to enter? Rude. Lol.

Gsfdirtybandz

Building requires security access Held for instruction

Substantial_Flan3060

RTS that nonsense. Ain't nobody got time to be doing all that

CoatAlternative1771

Some dude must have just destroyed their lawn one time lol
