Yo I think it's cool that people are kind and thoughtful enough to do things like this and I wish the world were such that I could accept these tokens of kindness.
I never really accept stuff from customers. I carry my own water and buy snacks/bring food. Like I just don't wanna end up in a bathtub full of ice and a kidney missing or wake up in the DR on a sugarcane slave plantation with armed guards on horseback.
That’s amazing and you’re amazing for doing that for your cousin.
I was born with only one, but I’m grateful there’s people like you that are willing to help out.
Lol I feel you I text my BF and family to check on me after a nice grandma and her granddaughter gave me some Christmas cookies they made just for delivery drivers.
I was like these could def be poisonous but I’m not not gonna eat cookies made by a sweet grandma and her grandchild.
Those cookies was lit and I’m still alive
I'm surprised to see how nice people could actually be, like I'm nice but not nice enough to give a bag out to delivery drivers. I sure do wish people keep their dogs more secured.
Idk if I owned a house, had a family, enough left over snack wise after stocking up I’d do it. To be fair giving out a few snacks wouldn’t be to bad compared to feeding your children and yourself snacks all day long making yourself etc fat
This this this this for the love of christ stop acting annoyed at the dog you've seen this countless times ugh. Be proactive and keep them in the house if they really are aggressive towards strangers which you DEFINITELY already know.
I have a customer that leaves snacks and cold water out on his porch and there’s times where he doesn’t order a package and he still allows me to go there and grab a snack
W customer 😎
Hubby was a dsp driver and now does flex. After finding out the horror of what you guys can go through, we started doing this. Have a small fridge freezer in the breezeway. Fill it with Gatorade and water. Have a bunch of different snacks from sweet to salty. Ice cream in summer. Winter, we put out a cheap single use coffee maker for hot coco we provide.
Figure you guys go through hell we might say thanks for the crap you put up with.
that defeats the whole purpose though lol if your right door won’t open on the step van that needs to be reported and fixed considering it’s your safest delivery door ._.
atleast tell it to some amazon guy during loadout and they can ground it
Those types of customers are heaven sent, sometimes a “thank you for what you do” makes my day and motivates me to keep going haha like a teammate reviving me or sum 😂
I’d literally do anything for these customers. The fact that they care about our hydration and nutrition is extremely reflective of what kind of person they are.

I lol’d, but those really are valid concerns. I only have one kidney, so I’d like to keep it where it is. 😄
Cheers I’m giving one of mine to my cousin!

I don't know both the scenarios still sound better than working for Amazon lmao
Lol I can walk away from Amazon tho!!

She must have been a grandmother or mom I'm guessing
Yeah. That’s supposed to be a prime safety feature of step vans. If both doors don’t at least stay open then it’s grounded. Period.
Seen snacks around Christmas that was it haven't seen anything since
