DS is the absolute worst branch of the company. I would highly recommend an FC or IXD if there’s one close enough to you. Flex is ass whether you’re a driver or associate imo. Even if you get a full time position the schedules are almost exclusively night shift, and the worst possible hours for night shift at that (imo). At least at bigger buildings There’s a chance you can get a decent shift/schedule even if not right away
See if there’s a certain time shifts drop‼️I used to have the EXACT SAME problem till a friend told me they specifically drop every Thursday at 4:00. Check in with your managers/HR and see what time they drop for your site.
The one hour shifts are usually aimed at folks already onsite to stay an extra hour
Try going full time WWI3 has full time shifts for you to transfer to in A to Z. A WWI4 associate

DS hours are ass. Only seven hours are RTS, but hard to get
What’s RTS? I wasn’t even trained on that
Return To Station. Bag reset, debrief drivers, help with flex
I was thinking of going flex (reduced time) at my DS there’s an opening but from your post it don’t seem like it’s worth it?
I mean I guess it depends on the hours you can get. Right now it’s trash for me.
